08/04/2007 - 08/11/2007; Midlife Crisis: Due to a Time Wizard spell cast by Kafele, the entire population of Domino, if not the whole world, sprang twenty years into the future, and everybody became middle-aged adult versions of themselves. It was really interesting to see how everyone depicted their characters, 20 years older... 8D Of course, Domino was still as crazy as ever.

The arrow stopped at 20 years. 20 years in the future! Kafele, through either coincidence or fate, converses with Thoth and successfully summons a Time Wizard. One spin of the arrow, and Kafele's search becomes the world's adventure...

Time changes things a lot Mahaado and Delwyn come to Mokuba's for dinner and conversation. Just some general chat about how things are going lately, with kids and with significant others among some of the topics. Twenty years changes a lot.

Daddy's Little Puff [2] - Malik, Ryou, and their daughter Yuki have a nice outing together.

Bury the hatchet?! Villains don't bury hatchets, they kill people with them. Amun returns to Domino, still focused on attaining servants for his Church. And he still has his evil eye set on Mahaado.

They've got kids now. Yuugi gets some ointment for his back, while daughter Jenga tags along

Get Well Puffs Tsuda takes Ryou up on his offer to stop by and celebrate a successful rehab.

Future Mokubas Squared Mokuba and Moki meet up at the cafe as they haven't seen each other in years. There's some anger (on Mokuba's part), and some definite changes on Moki's part. And, of course, tension. After drinking hot chocolate and talking, Moki takes Mokuba out to his car, where they go speeding away. Ends with Moki being sneaky and putting his number in Mokuba's phone, and getting Mokuba's number as well.

The passage of time is not always kind. Mahaado comes to visit Yuugi. It would seem that twenty years has not been kind to everyone.

Death by ChocolatePuff Mokuba, out for a walk, stops into Creamylicious. Ryou happens to be on the floor, so Mokuba gets his advice on the semi-fight with David...including puff advice!

From suit to slut in one hour flat... 20 years of unhappiness returns Espa to his only true home and God, at the Temple of Darkness Ascendant. Amun takes him back, returning him to the place he'd held before betraying Amun in the past, and some personal things are revealed.

Tea and Puffs [2] [3] - Isis pays a visit to her family, tea and cream puffs are consumed, and plans are made.

It's just your typical family- if you're on crack. Twenty years later. Mahaado is married to a faerie, and has a daughter. And is a sage at last. And heka's pretty much the only thing keeping him going. But it's not enough to stop him from having fluffy family time.

We can't put up with it much either. Yuugi and Espa meet again after 20 years. Lots of different things mentioned, such as the level of responsibility Yuugi is taking on with the Temple, Atem's worsening condition, and what happened to turn Espa against Honda. Not a very long chat, as Yuugi isn't one to put up with Espa's self-centeredness for long.

Everyone goes to him of their own free will... Espa shows up at Mahaado's shop, hoping to convince him to join Amun's side or at the very least to take back his words about Amun being an evil trickster. He offers him a deal... One which he shouldn't have offered, only proving Mahaado right in his stubborn idiocy. Mahaado is even forced to save his life, meaning that Espa knows he has to be held to his word, even while trying to find a way out of it.

It feels so good to embrace the darkness, people. After the discussion with Mahaado that ends with the magician banishing the shadows from Espa and an agreement to turn against Amun, Espa returns to ask his Lord for proof of Mahaado's error, and Amun sets him straight.

Has he changed your mind in return? After his confusing (or enlightening?) visit with Mahaado, Espa returns to the Temple. He comes clean with Amun in the morning, who of course ends up making more sense than Mahaado.

Even evil overlords need a little fluff now and then. Yuugi and Amun talk about Atem and other things they've done in the past twenty years.

You do not want to challenge me boy. You will not win. Yuugi happens on a child in the school being bullied by some non-temple members. He comes to her aide and discovers another child with magic similar to his own.

I'm not a little girl anymore! Katsuya's daughter comes over, and her name is finally revealed! However, they have a little father/daughter tiff in the beginning.

But not now. I have to, I don't know, process this? Or something. Yuugi delivers another message about Atem's condition; this time to Mokuba.

You can't fight corporate Japan, or can you? It's Jenga's birthday, and not only does she get the little brother she's always wanted, but she and her family get an unpleasant surprise as well.

featuring an older and wiser Mimiko Mimiko and Kenji visit Shiz and so does Kimiko, Katsuya's daughter. The women have a heart-to-heart, about pregnancy and college romance.

Some things never change. Katsuya tries to be kinder and gentler to Mokuba by bringing cookies over to him and David. However, Mokuba still becomes rather rude and selfish as the subject of their conversations move to kids.

Would you believe it if I said I was lonely and wanted company? Atem summons Amun and Yuugi to visit him to talk about the outside world and about temple matters. Atem also tells a story from twenty years ago and makes one last wish that Amun and Yuugi grant. Smut parts are marked for those who don't care to read it.

cue jeopardy theme music please. Atem finally allows Mahaado to speak with him and to see him.

I think I married a conscience with wings. After Mahaado visits Atem, he stops by to see his other self and they talk. And there's no sarcasm. And Mahaado has a sense of humour.

inner!Mahaado: you'd rather cut me up than ka battle inside me hm. inner!Mado: just like the good old days Delwyn gets the full news of what's going on with Mahaado.

It's like a game of Operation& with Magic! Mado comes to assist Mahaado in removing a very large cancerous tumor from his worthless liver. There really is nothing that a pair of magicians can't handle.

oh, it was only major surgery... and only like, six hours ago... he should be in the shadow realm by NOW... A concerned Mokuba visits his friend, Mahaado, and they discuss various things from both the past and present.

Because telling people you re dying is just angsty, okay? Atem brings Ryuu to Egypt to tell him face to face that he's dying. Lots of angst in here folks.

I'll hope you'll be happy. Yugi visits the temple and discovers that Atem may not be here for much longer...

Teleportation > airplanes Post surgery. Now that he's feeling much better he treats his beloved wife and daughter to some trips around the world.

It's not there... And your legs are still gone... And Delwyn's not... And Azizi, you didn't explode! The Mid-Life Crisis plot ends with the ending of the Time Wizard's spell. Mahaado wakes up, like the rest of the world does, as though he had just been dreaming. Kafele wakes up, however, as one of the only ones in the world who knows everything really happened.

And the Midlife Crisis plot ends!!

Mahaados know how to celebrate things. Mado goes to visit his other self after the crazy dream-thing plot. And of course, our friend Everclear makes a visit.

Baku!birthday [2] - Ryou and Malik toss a little party for Bakura.

bad stuff Mokuba is taken to Atem's house to check up on him (he woke up from his 'dream' feeling worried about him). Atem's been poisoning himself, and plans to go back to Egypt, and Mokuba doesn't like either of these things. He doesn't want his friend to leave, and doesn't like the way Atem looks at the present.

Why does the penguin have a straightjacket on? I really don't know what to say to this one.

too much spiky hair for one chat, methinks... The day after the world returns to normal. Yuugi s a bit upset by the future that he saw and talks to Amun about it. Amun goes to check up on Atem and then brings him back to Domino to be taken care of. Then Amun and Yuugi have a discussion about the future, the past and Yuugi tries to understand a bit about Amun.

Hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate h8! Following the thread with Mahaado, in which Ghost accuses Espa of being in love with the magician, Espa goes to shut him up. He does it in the most emotionally painful way he can think of.

I think I broke his brain. Mado spills the beans about everything he remembers from his plot experience concerning Mahaado. It ends up very interesting.

Just pass the everclear After Varon passes out from drinking, Otogi decides, for once, NOT to go to a gay bar, where he finds Mahaado.

How does this thing go ON?! Malik and Ryou go get fitted for their wedding kimonos.

You know, if you really didn't care about what happened to yourself, you wouldn't be mad right now. That's a good sign. Atem gets his first visit from the shrink. Seems that all isn't lost.

Not exactly a good first impression Kafele and Espa meet. Happens before the birthday party, doesn't go well. Some conversation, but the meeting is cut short after Espa acts like a slut with Kafele and the magician poofs away.

Kafele's Birthday Party [2] [3] [4] Kafele and Mahaaado s long-awaited first birthday party ever!

Unexpected friendship. Ghost drags Espa with him to try to talk Yuugi into going to the 'I hate you' party, knowing noone else is going to come. Espa tries to get inside the Temple when Yuugi won't let him, fails, and then lets things head in a direction he shouldn't in a moment of vulnerability, causing that later freak out.

Bitch, you got puppyslapped. Ghost and Jou run into eachother and Jou confronts him about terrorizing Yugi.

Really, did you expect anything less? As promised, Ghost shows up to see Mado. And as promised, Mado is waiting outside. Basically, Ghost gets owned.

Master Magician vs Emo Gypsy Kid, Round One. Mado tests Espa's psychic shielding abilities despite their first meeting not getting off to a great start. Espa goes away thinking he's actually a nice and really helpful guy despite the things he sees on the journals.

So this is what happens when one mocks the Temple. Lunch between friends goes wrong after Espa takes Yuugi to the emo club, resulting in two new converts for Amun's temple and Yuugi having to rest again after overusing his powers. Indirectly causes Espa to realize he nearly took Amun's side instead of Mahaado's even if he didn't realize it at the time.

Baka. Espa returns to the temple. Again.

I'm in charge, kay? Amun brings Yuugi home after his outing with Espa that went a bit wrong. Having already read all the books on mind magics in the temple, Yuugi asks if they can go away for a few weeks so Amun can teach him in practice what he's learned in theory. A bitter Atem listens in then talks to Amun and is given control of the Domino and Egypt temples while they are away.

Let me go or I'll tell Katsuya! Ghost invades the mansion and tortures Shiz and kidnaps Mimiko, just because he hates Katsuya.

Here there be fluff Jou and Yuugi have a happy little fluff night.

to the mall, with love. Yuugi and Honda find each other at the mall and discuss what sort of random gift should be given to Jounouchi.

Premarital Counseling [2] - In an attempt to prove the naysayers wrong, Malik and Ryou decide to see a counselor in order to help prepare for their marriage, and gloss over any issues that may arise wonde they're wed.

It is better to be wrong for the right reasons than right for the wrong reasons, Kafele Kafele seeks out Delwyn to help charge the power stone. However, what happens is nothing like what Kafele had expected...

It somewhat reminded him of a dream he had, only in his dream the shop wasn't all ruined, and Mahaado wasn't upstairs. And they probably weren't standing in a pool of blood either... Mokuba goes over to Mahaado's place to see Kafele and finds the place a mess after the attack with Marik. When he and Kafele get some alone time, they end up getting more intimate...while breaking Mahaado's brain.

when the mun's away, the priests will pay Atem angsts a bit more trying to figure out what he should do with his life now. A visit from one of the temple priests gives him an idea that he hopes will put an end to his pain.

Those kind of cakes don t come out of Mahaado s kitchen very often. Mokuba is staying with Mahaado and Kafele for a while, because he wants to. So he decided to be nice and have his servants deliver a prepared dinner for everyone there, with plenty of yummy dessert to follow it. Conversation abounds.

You weren't thinking friendship were you? Both being in Egypt, Bakura and Atem meet at Kul Elna and discuss matters pertaining to the past, present and the potential future. Seems that rivalry is in the air.

talk talk talk talk Mokuba and Atem, in all their friendship glory, talk about relationships.

something that you show, but you can't see. Kafele wishes to do something special for Mahaado in gratitude for all he has done for him. Unsure of what to do, he summons the god of wisdom for advice.

I'll deal with it the best I can Seto and Siegfried the day after they spend the night together.

I'll never stop hoping, deep down, that fate will allow us to cross paths again and to be one again Atem has one last task before he leaves for the states.

This may be the first Varon-posted log in the entire comm. Varon is not a morning person, especially not when awaking to a screamingly bad hangover and a very demanding cat.

Kafele seemed happy with it at least, that he had something, and Mokuba didn't want to burst his bubble. Kafele talks with Mokuba afer he spoke with Thoth and got the key. They end up having a glass to drink, and Mokuba then goes off on his own as he's moody.

People don't get in limos just to talk On his way to get drinks, Mokuba sees Moki walking and gives him a ride home. Inside the limo they talk as they haven't seen each other in a while.

Awww, friends. Atem comes over as promised before going on his vision quest. He brings booze and chocolate. They pretty much just talk, and Atem obsevers that Mokuba is depressed, though he denies it. Friendship chat!

Well, this'll be a bitch to explain to the papers. [2] Seto. Siegfried. Hate Sex. Enough said.

Telepaths are psychopaths Espa does an annoying reading for an annoyed and angsting Atem. Doesn't go well.

Oh, just flip a card already. Even if it's death to do so. Espa and Atem have a little talk before his vision quest. Happens after the last tarot reading Espa gave him, and after Espa gets out of the hospital on antidepressants.

...a little thing we like to call character development Sometimes gaining mind magics open the doors to repressed memories. Log one of at least three in a series of solo logs for Yuugi. Italics represent memories and beware of...

You know I wish Uno Hospital was still standing and the doctors and patients who did harm to me were still living...So I could go back to them and prove to them how wrong they were. To show them that there was someone out there who would love me and care for me. Someone who would give me anything I asked. Amun comforts his consort after his odd dream. Follow-up log to the repressed memory log.

Let's make a deal. Bakura gets Ghost out of the Shadow Realm...for a price. Of course.

You're worried. A computer chat between Seto and Siegfried. Has mention of murder and a few sexual comments.

Make your face shine for the right reasons Mokuba goes over to Honda's place to discuss the convention. Honda agrees to go with him to the con dressed in Death Note cosplay.

A new beginning With Amun's permission Atem sets out on his Vision Quest.

Malevolent Nuzzler Mahaado tests Espa's shadow magic abilities before his vision quest, and reveals Espa's ka, much to Espa's disappointment.

This is out of our hands Moki goes to visit Kafele to try and stop his leaving!

Goodbyes are never easy. Kafele says goodbye to Mokuba.

He should die another horrible death!!!! Gozaburo comes to Mokuba's office for a meeting to discuss what he can give Mokuba...but there are definitely things he wants in return.

The last and final Kafele-log The long awaited ritual - Kafele becomes Mahaado's ka once more. His time as a human is over.

Lets see what kind of people Domino will dig up... Seto interviews Espa for a housesitting position.

Thanks a bunch Moki. Only sharing how I'm feeeeeeeeeling~ After an awful day of Kafele leaving and a meeting with Gozaburo, Mokuba wanders over to Moki's house, drunk as a sailor.

I wish I hadn't exchanged love for power... Upon request, Amun strips Espa of his shadow magic, discussing love and hate with him, and why hate is so painful to a weak soul. He makes a simple demand before giving Espa his soul back and encouraging him to follow a good path.

Trusting An Inner Voice After the interview with Seto, Moki goes to Espa for a 9-card reading, and to discuss whether he'll get the job or not. Three questions are asked during the reading, with odd results, and a three-month guarantee.

Hot springs~~ - The day before Crossover-Con starts, Malik and Ryou have a day for themselves.

Come, let me spill my heart to you... Honda finds Moki, so of course they take the opportunity to talk. Mostly about Espa and tarot readings, but also a bit about more random subjects. Oh, and there's flirting as well.

Karaoke tiem~ - At Crossover-Con, Malik and Ryou engage in an activity they haven't done in a long time... karaoke!

What happens in North Dakota stays in North Dakota Vision Quest: Day one. Not much happens to Atem on his first day sadly, save the pharaoh getting annoyed at himself.

If you are so determined to be involved, you are going to die. Gozoburo contacts Siegfried, now that he's been through all the Kaibas in the city.

PDA - The con high gets to Malik a little bit, and... well.

I know something's wrong Siegfried comes to Seto after he was attacked by Gozoburo and Seto was attacked by Ramses.

Cosplay Awards [2] - After the skit contest at Crossover-Con, there are lots of awards given~

((....anyone want popcorn? XD)) (Way to ruin the moment...) Mahaado, enraged at what Atemu did to Kisara, hunts the two fiends down. A terrible battle ensues, and he gets revenge. Unfortunately, revenge is merely revenge - and Maru is still left with the fiends, and Mahaado is left with the knowledge that he can be just as much of a monster as the one he aimed to kill. And he would have killed them both, were it not for Kafele acting on his own accord...

I am no god, no angel, no sage. I am merely a mortal man. Celest goes to Mahaado after feeling the darkness from his previous shadow duel, and his amulet turing solid black.

Does... um... do you have to? Are you supposed to? I... um... Ryou pays Mado a visit to ask him wedding and marriage advice.

I hope I don't survive the next attack. After getting Delwyn's message on the journals, Mahaado immediately teleports to Kisara's. The scene isn't pretty.

To give up, when you do not realize how close you may have been, that is the true failure Basically the next morning. And no, there are no romantic connotations going on here.

indulge me and be normal for once? Marik and Atemu go shopping for Maru (!), and buy him all sorts of stuff - including a knife. Then Marik blows up a school and the happy couple have a fight.

I think this conversation has gone about as far as it's going to today. After Espa's escapades with Atem, and his return to the Temple of Darkness Ascendant, Espa and Honda see each other at the park. Espa is acting insane, and Honda gets pissed, but asks for a reading to be done before the convention.

Judgment mun strips Espa of his shadow magic, discussing love and hate with him, and why hate is so painful to a weak soul. He makes a simple demand before giving Espa his soul back and encouraging him to follow a good path.

I won't be as cute as you or Honda, but I'll look silly. After their argument in the park, and Amun's return of his soul and freedom, Espa goes to give Honda a reading with unopened and unenchanted Tarot cards to find out the truth for him.

Love changes everything. Yuugi wakes to find that the curse in the memory has returned to his body. Amun tries to figure out a way to remove it but nothing seems to work& at least not at first.

Don't worry, he can handle me. Honda catches Espa looking at doujinshis in the Dealer's room. They talk some, fight some, have some personal time after buying Mecha replications, and then get interrupted by one of the members of the Temple of Darkness Ascendant.

Why are you sitting all funny like that? Doesn't it hurt your back? Two cosplayers eat dessert. Well, what else would these two be doing? I mean really!

Puff!plotting - Somehow, the convention spawns yet another Creamylicious venture. :X

Fifty Percent Seme and Fifty Percent Uke [2] [3] Atem and Espa have lots of sex, trying to figure out who's the master.

If only I could avoid the truth for more than a week... After the convention ends, Espa leaves to visit the place his mother died. And find out what the Tarot cards can tell him about himself.

No matter what happens Another IM conversation between Seto and Siegfried.

Personal truth only ends in Death. Day two of Espa's vision quest in Russia, including two Tarot readings and physical labor.

I suggest that you leave for the time being. Espa finally makes his way to Mahaado, and things don't go well after he inquires about poison training. And at this point, he is no longer Mahaado's student at all. But Mahaado now has a cell phone.

The many uses of fruit... Amun and Yuugi indulge in a peaceful day filled with fluff, Yuugi drawing, kinky sexual games and hot, smexy man-smut.

More Counseling - It's time for another one of Malik and Ryou's counseling sessions.

Candy Apples and Autumn Dreams Katsuya stops by to see Honda, Mimiko in tow. They talk about issues such as cats, Katsuya's worries, and Halloween before Katsuya and Mimiko are on their way back to their celebrity lives.

Although we seemed happy going in, you were frowning at me when we came out. Espa and Atem meet up after their respective vision quests. Some paranoia, some flirting, and Espa takes him to the club that he once took Yuugi to, telling him of what he plans to convert it to.

What if I can't help you? Espa calls Ghost in Egypt.

I look forward to working with you. A short conversation between Amun in Wales and Espa in Domino, in which Amun agrees to take Espa as a student.

Trapped in the painting? Amun and Yuugi take an interesting trip.

teh ferret of doom needs crack. Honda finally tells Espa why he doesn't like Amun and the gypsy reacts childishly from not understanding Honda's associate. They end up in Espa's soul room, where Honda enchants the black pendant the malevolent nuzzler wears and places Espa under his protection.

Still More Counseling - Another counseling session brings about a discussion on future family possibilities.

Ferret of Coffee VS. Ferret of Sleep Espa visits Atem outside of the Temple. They have a confusing discussion about Honda, teachers, Pharoahs, and protection until Atem teleports them both back to Espa's house and helps him go back to sleep.

Lucky Odds Honda makes good on his offer of ice cream, and they talk. Then Mokuba offers alcohol, as well as massaging. Both occur, as well as more talking. Topics of conversation include half-hearted insults, variations of 'you haven't made time for me in too long', and a random side tangent about the afterlife. But really, it's all just their unique sort of foreplay.

ferret of doom makes his escape! Espa goes to find a different sort of life in Tokyo and changes his looks.

Until the end of time The dark pharaoh and his consort bid farewell to Wales and return to Domino. Gifts. Proposals. Fluff. Smut.

Something tells me these two just aren't meant to be together. The anti-fluff ferret has apparently bitten the hell out of Honda and Espa, because even trying to aim it towards fluff didn't work. No angst, just... a boring conversation in which neither understand the other, and they return to Domino separately.
