7/1/2008 - 10/1/2008: Katamari Dormancy: It's another dormant period on the RP where people mostly kept to their small mini-plots. Lots of stuff still happened, though!
This would have been less abrupt and choppy had it not been that time of the month, and had I not been tired and cranky.
Honda visits Mahaado. They have a little time to talk before Mahaado has to go to a therapy session. Dr. Rector then makes a proposal to Honda about the next phase in Mahaado's treatment.
No going to Marguaritaville
Honda and one of Mahaado's therapists get together to plan a new strategy that might help Mahaado: a vacation.
wooo! coconut bras! Ryou and Malik host a summer party at Isis' house. Guests eat cream puffs, play limbo and have a whole lot of tropical-themed fun.
Mokuba's not jealous, honest Mokuba comes over to make sure his dream was just a dream, and freaks when he thinks things at Honda's aren't normal. Honda calms him down, they talk awhile about dreams then move on to flirting before Mokuba has to leave.
Um...so I have to hit the number one five times if they buy five puffs? - Ryuu comes over to Creamylicious, and Ryou offers him a job. Ryuuzaki learns how to work the cash register.
I smell foreshadowing. Oh wait, it's just Marik. Marik and Bakura meet to discuss plans for future plotting. Nothing like two bad guys scheming, even if they don't like (or trust) each other much.
Aruba, Jamaica... er, no Mahaado is informed about the vacation plans.
Katsuya's Priorities Honda randomly stops by to see Katsuya before leaving the country. Talk of Mado and tears follow.
Happy Birthday to Mokuba It's gift giving time! Honda comes over and gets his gift first (better late then never?) and in turn gives Mokuba his gift. Honda gets: quick bday party (well, Mokuba's servants were there...and bday hats!) and also features a cake! Mokuba gets: stuffed animal Monkey (still unnamed) and a necklace.
I say Hai now! Yuugi finally gets round to delivering his gift. He and Mokuba chat. Mokuba tries to kill Yuugi's mobile, and Yuugi leaves.
Don't you ever read playthedamncard? They brick each other. With Millennium Bricks. Do you have any chocolate? Yuugi comes to talk to Ryou about Jello, and interesting twists are revealed. Another note is found, and we are all left a little frightened.
Let's talk Muffins - Ryou talks to his yami about the Muffin Mafia and gets some advice.
Ever hear of a flight leaving early? Me neither The Vacation begins. Mahaado and Honda get from Japan to Belize without too much trouble. Talk is had about plans for the rest of the trip, the magical feel of various places, hotel amenities... and touchy personal issues on both sides, since there's just so much of them.
Descriptiony descriptions... and some plot Honda and Mahaado journey to their first Mayan destination. Honda is disappointed Mahaado doesn't love animals like he does, Mahaado is disappointed by the lack of Mayan pyramid tombs.
Indiana Napkin-head and the Quest for Shiney Upon arriving at the second Mayan city, Mahaado senses the energy of a Sennen Item. After much searching, some minor destruction, and some help from Honda, Mahaado discovers the way towards it. Meanwhile Honda's heckles are raised, and stay raised after they get some unexpected company.
Not like ring throwing in the movies Honda and Mahaado are overdue for a serious conversation. This time the personal issues under discussion revolve around the future and a certain dream of it.
Still not talking about the Sennen Ring... Following the previous night's drama-filled conversation, Mahaado and Honda have a more comforting serious conversation.
...Possible fluff warning? Post-vacation talk so Mahaado and Honda can reaffirm their friendshippy feelings.
Apple Pie Honda comes over now that's he's back from vacation to visit Mokuba. After showing off Turtle's new outfit, they end up in the bedroom. After, the two head downstairs for some pie and ice cream and tv watching.
Never too late to get gifts Mokuba gets another birthday gift, this time from Kafele! After finding Kafele in the expensive fabric room, Mokuba is rewarded with a ka turtle for Turtle. Mokuba enjoys the gift, and Kafele ends up leaving quickly because he has to help Mahaado with a spell that he wouldn't tell Mokuba about.
Since apparently everyone else is seeing UST... Honda completely accidentally finds Rebecca, then decides they're going to have a talk whether she wants to or not.
trouble is a brewin' (as opposed to alcohol...) Mado teleports back to the shop, where they discuss the situation and how best to free Delwyn.
hostages are more fun Mahaado goes to Ireland to try and free Delwyn.
It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye. Wedding Day. Mahaado interrupts the ceremony and makes a claim for Delwyn's hand, and discovers the groom is none other than Marik. The truth of the ceremony is revealed as Mahaado must face off against four nasty monsters - as well as the evil duo themselves. Plus Bakura kills people. Lots of people. And makes a very canon move in the end.
Get your mind out of the gutter! The epic game of bowling. It features highlights such as Mokuba's come from behind victory, lots of dirty jokes and the strange guy in the bathroom that freaked Ryou out.
Some wedding night... the battle is over, and Mahaado and Delwyn are alone together.
If a demon says 'rest', listen Honda and Azizi travel to Ireland to find Mahaado and Delwyn. But Mahaado is in no shape to leave yet, so naturally there is conversation while they wait.
Monkey Paw wishes Mahaado gets advice, and Honda gets a more coherent explanation of recent events than last conversation.
Mahaado's adjusting to modern life... just not to pants yet Honda shows up to talk to Mado about Mahaado, Katsuya, then more about Mahaado.
Mission Possible Since Pegasus doesn't get out, Mokuba puts together a plan to change that. He takes Pegasus to a jazz bar to get Pegasus socializing. And the mission...is successful! Pegasus chats with two people (one of them a fan of Mokuba's), gets both their numbers, and ends up leaving with one.
Did I ever tell ya'bout the time I mooned Grand Astromancer Capernian - Mahaado, known in that world as the legendary archmage, has a surprise birthday party in Azeroth. They feast, they celebrate, Mahaado manages not to outdrink any dwarves. A jealous mage also challenges him to a duel, and he wins.
Waffles with jam are good. As Mokuba is heading to lunch and Moki is drinking his coffee and thinking of a place to live, neither of them are thinking that they are literally going to run into each other. But they do, and it's surprising and cute and awkward.
Has anyone noticed lots of the recent Mokuba logs have food taglines? I have. Mokuba goes to Honda's house to talk about Moki. They also talk about other stuff, have a bit to drink, make plans for house-hunting, learn that Honda does not like bowling. Mokuba ends up staying the night.
Oh sure, make me feel overdressed Mokuba's all about Turtle, sex, ice cream, and fashion. Honda's more than okay with this.
Of course most would jump at the chance to have blackmail on me' Pegasus and Honda randomly see each other and get to talking. Topics range from the innoculous, like ice cream and drink preferences, to the personal... like Pegasus's past and love life.
No sex. Just talking about sex. Honda and Mokuba wander around together and talk for awhile. Topics include Mahaado and Kafele, plushies, and threesomes.
mope... mope... Bunny PJs!. Pegasus tries, with eventual success, to comfort and cheer Honda as they talk about other people and issues. Missing the section involving the actual party, which happened before this.
decisions. Mahaado updates Honda on the Sennen Eye situation.
That was cool. Ryou demonstrates one of the techniques he learned in his self-defense class.
This is not how they do it on HGTV. It's house-hunting time! Mokuba's got a handful of places to show Honda as he tries to get him to move into another place. The hunting doesn't start off well and Honda finds the first house boring. Luckily the other places turn out better, especially the third.
Pumpkin Cheesecake is good. This has nothing to do with the chat but I thought I would throw it out there. Moki calls Mokuba to see what he's doing, then suggests going to a club. Obviously Mokuba can't turn that down so he meets Moki at his new place and away they go.
Ryou eeped? Sad as I feel for him . . . ZOMG THAT'S SO CUTE Two mafia men meet, and Yuugi overhears them through his heating vent. Plots are revealed, and bishies are notified.
Warning, these spoilers will self-destruct in thirty seconds. And here's what the Mafia's planning.
Hostage #1. After picking up munchies, Ryuu is forced to a more secluded area by a certain game-playing mafia guy. There's he's choked, cuffed and tossed in the back of a truck with a dirty chocolate bar and taken away as hostage #1.
Hostage #2. Malik is taken hostage by the now quite infamous mafia henchman. He's taken, like Ryuu, to Jello's chocolate factory. The second hostage in their plan to win control of Creamylicious.
Hostage #3... err, no wait, he's the victim. Jello comes to strike the deal with Ryou, but ends up biting off a little more than he can chew. Yuugi is there. And Ryou has one strong point of leverage - this 'Jello' isn't the real Jello at all!
Ryou pulled a Ryou. Mafia members make contact, and Ryou Bakura does what he does best.
Wait a sec... Ryou wins a fight against a Mafia boss?! How the hell did that happen?! Ryou is taken before Jello to sign over the rights to Creamylicious. He makes a break for it, in an attempt to rescue Malik. Things don't exactly go as planned, but they certainly do work out. The factory goes up in flames, and they manage to save one more of Jello's prisoners, someone quite famous indeed.
mmmmm... fooooood... The group is hungry so Malik goes out and brings back some food. Quick little chat.
a five minute truce between Mahaado and Ryou. Mahaado comes to the rescue, and takes the four escapees out of Bulgaria and back to Domino.
Gotta love sorcerers. We make our own doors Mahaado visits Yuugi and helps heal his foot.
I think the summary is funnier than the tagline. Seth is lost. Kaiba goes to see why he has a clone wearing a dress.
BravePuff - After escaping from the Muffin Mafia, Ryou goes to see his yami. He wants to thank him for all those times he helped him learn to be brave!
And he drove... right through a plot hole. An epilogue to Ryou and friends' escape from the Muffin Mafia. Is there anyone still alive in the Muffin Mafia, or are they gone for good?
Decay had set in. Cavities had begun. Things went wrong in Bulgaria. Graham doesn't want to be around for the repercussions, so he takes the ultimate way out.
Kafele just floated over them, arms crossed, looking more smug than that one time when he'd fucked Mokuba over the banister. Mahaado's trying to figure out how to use his newly-acquired Eye of Ra, but is unsuccessful until Kafele tries a different tactic.
Is this the magical equivalent of sex? Mahaado celebrates the autumn equinox with Delwyn, who would have otherwise been celebrating alone.
This place and time sucks Seth arrives at Mahaado's shop, and gets some answers to his questions thanks to Mahaado and Mado.
Don't get water on my daybook! Kaiba and Anzu make lurve... This is the beginning of a beautiful relationship, and the first smutlog we've had on this site in a long time.
Bakura stared at the gold coins, the thief part of him calculating their value Ryou goes to visit his yami, so he can give him part of Baka's thank you reward.
I knew it, you only loved me for my cookies. Led by Azizi, Mahaado comes over to see Honda's new house and get his advice.
