Omega19x: *lots of mewing*
Omega19x: *except, of course, from our resident fluff-ball, who is sleeping in the back of the box*
ph33r my rod: *blinks* "..." *reaches in and gently prods at Zahra*
Omega19x: *she looks up for a moment, and blinks*
Omega19x: *then curls back up in her little fluffy ball*
ph33r my rod: *blink blink* "...I know cats sleep a lot, but... y'think there's a gas leak in here or something?"
ph33r my rod: (( *brickes* *saw a comic with that punchline once* XD ))
Omega19x: (*bricks*)
Omega19x: "... is... is she okay?"
ph33r my rod: *gently scoops her up in his hand* "Hey..."
Omega19x: *huddles over Malik to see his little kitten*
Omega19x: "... Zahra? You okay, girl?"
Omega19x: *she's not purring*
Omega19x: *it sounds more like sighing*
ph33r my rod: "..." *strokes her fur*
Omega19x: "Zahra?"
Omega19x: *pets her gently too*
Omega19x: *the other kittens now want that kind of attention*
Omega19x: *and are trying to climb out of the box*
ph33r my rod: *watches them* "Aw..." *one of the black ones goes for a little tumble*
Omega19x: *Ryou's there just in time to catch him*
Omega19x: "... awww... that's not the place for you... You belong in your nice warm box..."
Omega19x: *Aisha walks in the door*
Omega19x: *meow*
ph33r my rod: *blinks at her as she hops into the box*
ph33r my rod: *meow* "... Oh, I see. You want your babies back."
Omega19x: *she starts licking them*
Omega19x: *which they like!*

Omega19x: *attention goes back to Zahra, who is still in Malik's hand*
Omega19x: "... Is something wrong, girl?"
ph33r my rod: *looks down at her and pets her a little* "... We'll have to take the kittens to get their shots before the cruise, we can see if anything's wrong with her then... could be that she just likes being awake while we're not looking, or something."
Omega19x: "... that is true..."
Omega19x: "She may be awake all night for all we know..."
ph33r my rod: "... Now that you mention it, sometimes I do hear the kittens shuffling around at night."
Omega19x: "Are you a little night girl? You like being up at night?" *scratches the kitten under her chin*
Omega19x: *she coughs a little*
Omega19x: *pulls back his hand*
ph33r my rod: "..."
Omega19x: "... Malik... I ... I think she's sick..."
ph33r my rod: *sighs* "...won't know for sure until they can see a vet. When is your next off day? We'll go then..."
Omega19x: "... off day? um... maybe next weekend. I'll try and ask for a few hours off earlier than that."
ph33r my rod: *nods* "If all else fails, I can just take them up there one day while you're at work... I'd rather wait until you can come with me, though..."
Omega19x: *nods*
Omega19x: "... I hope she's okay..."
Omega19x: "... I... I wonder if my healing powers work on cats..."
ph33r my rod: "...I don't think it would hurt to try."
Omega19x: *nods*
Omega19x: *holds out his hand*
Omega19x: "... hand her to me."
ph33r my rod: *gently places her in Ryou's hands*
Omega19x: *closes his eyes, and concentrates on the little kitten*
Omega19x: *she mews, frightened, and he uncovers her*
Omega19x: "I'm not going to hurt you, Zahra... okay?"
Omega19x: *covers part of her again, but can't seem to get the light to break through the wall, so to speak.*
Omega19x: *pushes with his own energy*
Omega19x: "... it's not working..."
ph33r my rod: "..." *sighs*
Omega19x: "Maybe animals are... covered by a different god..."
Omega19x: *a little out of breath and tired*
Omega19x: *pets Zahra, who is still trembling a little*
ph33r my rod: "...maybe. Looks like it's waiting until we get to the vet..."
Omega19x: *nods*
Omega19x: "... I had to try though."
ph33r my rod: *drapes an arm around him* "I know. I don't blame you... I hope she isn't sick."
Omega19x: "... me too..."
ph33r my rod: *Aisha pokes her head out of the box and meows*

Omega19x: *puts the white kitten gently into the box*

Omega19x: *Aisha nudges her, meowing, and licks her a little*
Omega19x: *she looks a little concerned, in a kitty way*
ph33r my rod: "Aisha, you take care of your babies, okay?"
ph33r my rod: *she meows*
Omega19x: *she nudges Zahra some more, who doesn't seem to want to get up*
ph33r my rod: "..."
ph33r my rod: *reaches down and pets her for a moment*
Omega19x: "It'll be okay, Zahra. Your mommy's here."
Omega19x: "... she'll take care of you."
ph33r my rod: *sighs* "Until we can get her to the vet, at least..."
Omega19x: "... she'll take good care of you."
Omega19x: *pets the kitten gently on the head*
ph33r my rod: *smiles a little* "Yeah. Aisha's a good mommy."
Omega19x: "yes she is..."
Omega19x: *cute baby talk towards cat*
ph33r my rod: *resists the urge to squee*
Omega19x: (yes, a good indication of how Ryou would be if he ever had a little baby)

ph33r my rod: "...guess there's nothing we can do right now... if she is sick, I hope she can make it until we get to the vet."

ph33r my rod: "I hope so. I don't really know a lot about animals being sick... I hope she's just nocturnal."

ph33r my rod: *looks up at him* "But y'know... if she really is like you, then she'll pull through whatever she has."

ph33r my rod: *kisses him on the cheek* "Try not to worry too much, okay? She'll be fine..." *smile*
