Honda: *walks into ice cream place* *looks around, gets into waiting line*

Jou: *Sees Honda* *shyly approaches him*

Honda: "Hey, you're here. Great, get in line with me."

Jou: *blush* "Um, um... O-okay..." *stands next to Honda*

Honda: "You know yet what kind of ice cream you want?"

Jou: "Not really... Um... I'll have chocolate, I guess..."

Honda: "Okay. I'm going to stick with my usual cherry. Lemme know if you change your mind, since I said I'd pay for yours." *stomach growl* "Hurry up line."

Jou: *neckscratch* "Usually, I like to pick a theme when I eat ice cream, like favorite color, but I guess picking my favorite flavor will help me feel better..."

Honda: *shrug* "You can choose however you like. If you want to wait til we get up there to decide, that's fine. Didn't mean to pressure you or anything."

Jou: "N-no, it's okay... Um... I'm just glad to be here with you right now..." *blush*

Honda: *smile* "Glad I could make your day a little better." *looks at ice cream counter* "Hey, we're next. Last chance to change your mind. You still want chocolate?"

Jou: "Um... didn't I say I wanted Rocky Road... But, if they don't have rocky road, then I want chocolate."

Honda: "Okay then. How many scoops you want?"

Jou: "J-just one... No, two. Yeah, two. Because I'm feeling much better." *smile*

Honda: *nod* "Two it is." *turns to ice cream clerk* "I'd like a one scoop of cherry and a two scoop of Rocky Road, please." *pulls out money, pays for ice cream* *takes ice creams from clerk* "Here yours, and here's mine." *looks for open table* "We can go sit over there."

Jou: "Okay...!" *follows Honda*

Honda: *sits down at table* "So, now what? We awkwardly try to think of stuff to say?" *nibbles on ice cream* "Hm, anything else happen after you got to work?"

Jou: *takes ice cream* *licks tentatively* "Well... the sky looked like it wanted to rain on me, so I had to go straight home. I'm glad it didn't rain, though. Still... I felt really bad, and I just wanted to cry..."

Honda: "Oh, you could've just stayed home if you really wanted to. Or is this kinda your way of saying that you'd rather be here with me than home alone?" *licks ice cream* "We can go to the park after this, if you want. I won't laugh if you want to have a good cry there or something." *looks away embarrassed*

Jou: *blink* *blush* *heartpound* "W-well, um... th-that is... erm..." *lowers head* "Yeah... we could... go to the park..."

Honda: *still looking away* "Um, great then." *stares at ice cream* *starts eating faster* "We could sit by the duck pond, I like it there."

Jou: "Um... okay..." *licks*

Honda: *keeps eating, finishes up ice cream* *watches Jou*

Jou: *keeps licking ice cream* *glances at Honda*

Honda: "Er, sorry. I'm staring, aren't I?" *looks away* "Anything you wanted to talk about? I'm out of ideas already."

Jou: "...I haven't been to the park in a long time. I... guess it's a good idea that we should go..." *blush* *looks away*

Honda: "I like the park. I was there a few weeks ago." *peeks over* "Still eating?"

Jou: *nods* *licks* *realizes his glasses are slipping, and adjusts them*

Honda: "Have you gotten lots of compliments on your glasses? I think they look nice."

Jou: *blush* "Y-you do...? No one's said anything yet. Mostly because I was making sure no one noticed them..."

Honda: "Then I guess I get to be the first compliment." *goes back to watching Jou* "What all did you do to keep people from noticing them?"

Jou: "Well, I just looked down and let my hair hide them..." *finishes up ice cream* "Umm... did you want to go to the park now? It's getting kinda late..."

Honda: *headshake* "I don't think you should hide behind your hair." *reaches up to brush Jou's hair back, but pulls his hand back instead* "Um, maybe we should continue this somewhere a little less crowded."

Jou: "S-so, are we going to the park now...?"

Honda: "Unless you have somewhere else you'd rather go."

Jou: "Oh, I don't really have any other plans..."

Honda: "Okay, park it is." *stands up*

Jou: *stands up* *smiles* "Okay!"

Honda: *walk outside, walk to park*

Jou: *follows Honda*

Honda: *walk to duck pond* *looks around* "I think...this is a good place to sit." *sits on grass*

Jou: "Uh huh..." *sits next to Honda* *blush* *looks at Honda*

Honda: "So, where were we? Oh, right, I was talking about your hair." *lifts a hand nervously, brushes Jou's hair out of his face* "There, that's better."

Jou: *shocked that Honda is touching him* *really, really blushing* "...Th-thank you...?"

Honda: *oblivious to Jou blushing* *continues playing with Jou's hair* "Has anyone mentioned that you have really nice hair? Lots better than mine."

Jou: *nearly unable to speak* ".......Um...." *heartpound* "............Y-y-you l-like it...?"

Honda: *zoning out* "Yeah, I do." *pulls his hand back* "Sorry, I'm acting strange again. Now what?"

Jou: *slightly disappointed that Honda's not touching him* "Y-you didn't do anything wrong..." *shy smile*

Honda: "Oh. D-did you want me to keep playing with your hair?" *watches Jou nervously*

Jou: "Actually... um..." *heartpound* "That is..." *sigh* "Y-yeah..." *looks up shyly* "It felt nice..." *smile*

Honda: *smile* "Okay." *puts an arm around Jou's waist and pulls him closer* *other hand starts threading through Jou's hair* "Like this?"

Jou: *eyes widen* *heart beats really really fast* *blush* *breath quickens* "Y-y-yeah... J-just like th-that..." *looks shyly at Honda*

Honda: *continues playing with Jou's hair*

Jou: *smiles* *unconsciously leans in closer*

Honda: *smiles* "This is really fun."

Jou: *sigh* *a bit more relaxed* "Honda..."

Honda: *pulls hand out of Jou's hair* "Hm?" *hand drops to Jou's waist* "Did you want to say something?"

Jou: *blush* "It's just that... I... wanted to thank you..." *lowers head, but looks up at Honda* "...for being so nice to me and all..."

Honda: "Oh, okay. You're welcome, I guess. I don't see why it's such a big deal though." *pulls Jou slightly closer* *rests head against Jou's* "Hmmm, your hair smells nice too."

Jou: "It must be the shampoo I used this morning." *laugh* *rests hand on Honda's lap*

Honda: "Ah, that explains it then. I have no idea what scent it's supposed to be, but I guess that doesn't matter as long as it smells good."

Jou: *smiles* It's the cheap kind, but I'm really glad you like it." *wraps other arm around Honda's waist*

Honda: "Have I mentioned yet that I'm having a really good day? I think it's thanks to you."

Jou: "Really...? But I was having a bad day before... I guess it's not so bad anymore now that you're with me..."

Honda: "Thanks, glad I could help. And, um, as much fun as this is, how long did you want to stay sitting here? We both have to go eventually, it's getting late."

Jou: "It is... what time is it...?"

Honda: *tries to look at watch* "...I can't tell without moving my arm, which would mean letting go of you. Probably at least nine. Why, what time did you want to leave?"

Jou: "Then, I'll check mine. I can still see it... *leans over to check watch* "Oh, no! You're right! I'm so sorry to keep you!"

Honda: *smile* "It's fine, I don't mind. I told you that I was have a good time. We can sit here for a little while longer."

Jou: "Well... just for a little bit... then I have to go. ...Just let me know if I lose track of time again..." *closes eyes*

Honda: *smile* "Okay, just tell me when you need to leave." *continues holding Jou* "You going to fall asleep or something?"

Jou: *opens eyes* "N-no, I wasn't..."

Honda: *laugh* "I'm just teasing you."

Jou: *smile* "I'm sorry, Honda, but I have to leave now."

Honda: "Oh, okay. See you later, I guess."

Jou: *is slowly let go* *stands up* "Okay..." *continues looking at Honda*

Honda: *stands up too* "So, um, do you want to plan when we'll meet up next? Or just, see each other whenever we see each other? That works too, I'm not usually very difficult to find."

Jou: "Y-you still wanted to meet at the mall tomorrow...?"

Honda: *stares at his shoes* "Yeah, that works. I'll see you then."

Jou: "Um... okay." *looks away* "But, wait..."

Honda: "Something wrong?"

Jou: "Um..." *closes eyes* *blush* *slowly approaches Honda and hugs him quickly* "Thank you." *turns to run*

Honda: *slightly confused* "Er, you're welcome?" *looks over*

Jou: "Bye, Honda!" *waves* *disappears in the distance*

Honda: *waves back even though Jou can't see him*
