Shadow snaked his way across the parking area, moving in between cars to keep the best he could to the darkness. Apartment complexes really were annoying with all their street lights. He looked around, spotting the apartment number he needed, and made his way over. The window was a little harder to get open, something that surprised him, but he managed, and he was soon inside the apartment, eyes peeled for anything he could put in his bag.
Anzu knelt down in prayer, across from a picture of Malik and a picture of Siegfried, completely obscured with darts. 'Please... let my precious Yami be okay, Lord...' She clutched her cross necklace tightly. 'I can't let my love go to hell with those sinners...'
Another cross? Shadow scowled and tossed it aside. He already had a few in his bag, and he really didn't even want them. The only thing that was worth taking was a necklace he discovered, and that was in the bottom, hopefully not getting crushed. Deciding he had finished the looking for objects, he snuck through the apartment. All the rooms were empty, so he figured she must be in the bedroom. He walked over to the only door he had not opened and twisted the knob. It turned noiselessly in his hand. There she was, all knelt down and giving prayer. It was enough to make him throw up. He tiptoed over and kneeled down behind her. "Dear Lord, please let me get something good this Christmas. I've been a very good boy."
"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!" Anzu snapped, without turning her head. Only a blasphemic jerk like Malik or a foppish idiot like Siegfried would be this obnoxious. She unseathed her scissors from her very own invasion of homes and spun around to see the culprit... which was neither Malik nor Siegfried. Anzu screamed, very, very loudly.
Shadow stumbled back, the loud scream quite unexpected. He hadn't even done anything yet! The scissors, however, caught his eye. She was prepared. He stood up and regained his composure. "There's no need for all that racket. I was merely offering a little prayer to our good Lord and Savior." He put his hands over his heart and tilted his head up, those his eyes still stayed focused on her. "I have come to know the error of my ways, and wish to be accepted into the Lord's arms so that he may raiseth me up to Heaven."
"YOU FUCKING SON OF A MOTHERFUCKING BITCH!!!" Anzu had tried to cut down her f-words to one per sentence, but she didn't appreciate of this intruder mocking her. "You think I'm supposed to believe bullshit like this?!" She backed away, trying to induce fear, but it happened to show more on her face than Shadow's... if his face was indeed visible. Anzu held out her scissors, nonetheless. She wouldn't go down as easily as the prissy little Honda-loving bitch.
"Was I too dramatic? Was it the word 'raiseth'? You know, I thought that was a bit much, but I just can't help myself." Shadow let his hands fall to his sides. Later tonight, he thought, I'll practice on my acting. Right now, though, he wanted to live in the moment. The way she backed up made him smile, invisible to her. He reached to his side and pulled out a book. Bible was written across it in small, gold letters. He hopped forward, holding the book in front of him. "But God did speak to me, and he wants me to give you a message."
"What was it?!" Anzu asked with suspicion. "You've come just to piss me off?!" She scowled harsher at the thief. "...Or you've taken my Yami hostage, and you just wanna give me a ransom in person...?" She managed to give the figure in black a smirk. "If so, then you make one crappy criminal."
"I've done nothing to Yami. I'm sure he's run off himself." Shadow took a step closer, pulling the book a little closer to himself. "The message is this: You're going to deserve this, Tin Bitch!" He launched forward and began pounding her with the Bible, hitting her wherever he could.
Anzu screamed again and cowered to the ground, dropping her weapon. No, she was not going to go down easily. She wanted to see Yami... She wanted to prepare herself to meet her Maker...but not like this. "Th-this isn't right...!" uttered Anzu. "You can't take me down easily...You're going to Hell!"
Shadow gave her a few more hits, chucking at her Hell comment, aiming as much as he could to the head. Tin Bitch needed some sense knocked into her. His fingers were just starting to ache from holding onto the book so title so he backed up, giving a few feet of space in between them. His fingers relaxed, and the beginning ache quickly went away. "Did you not like God's message? Pity. And it was given with so much love."
"...This... is... NOT love...!" Anzu panted. She could lose consciousness any moment now. But, Anzu wasn't one to chicken out. After all, wasn't she serious in trying to force Malik and Jounouchi to join a monestary? "Y-you... lying... demon" Anzu's voice grew quieter. "From... Hell..."
"Demon?" He questioned. "Is that what you want?" He took a few weaving steps closer, the book held out and swinging in front of him. When he got close to her, able to smell the shampoo she used, he placed a finger on the book and hissed. Though he did not drop the book to show his pretend pain, he did place it back in the holder and pulled out the knife instead, caked bloody trails still visible on the blade. His eyes opened wide and he shoved her head up to look at him, his eyes wide and animal like. "I'll give you a demon if you me want to."
With narrowed and weakened eyes, Anzu glared at Shadow. He was going to be damned, not her. "You're... a... fucking... messenger... of Satan..." She spat in his face. "That's... what... a demon... is..."
Shadow threw his hands up in question, his hand still holding onto the knife. "Well, maybe I confused Satan with God. Shame on me, I suppose." He brought his hands down to her, placing the knife in front of her eyes before sliding it down. The flat of the blade trailed down, pressing firmly when he passed over her chest. He stopped once he reached her belly button, pressing the tip inside.
Anzu let out a shriek. The knife is not IN her body. She will see Yami again. She will go to Heaven. This creep... must die now. Anzu weakly kicked around Shadow's legs. She missed several times, however.
Her little Tin Bitch feet were getting annoying. While the kicks didn't hurt, he didn't want her getting a burst of energy and landing a good kick anywhere. There was only a dull ache in his leg from Pony, and he wouldn't let that be compromised again. He pulled the knife tip of of her belly button and brought it to her left side, letting it slide through her skin like a plane through the air, guiding it from the front to the back of her waist. "No holy light for His precious lamb?" He mocked.
The brunette girl could no longer do anything other than release violent, blood-curdling screams. Tears streamed dwon her face. Malik, Siegfried, and the other gay bastards would probably laughing at her, from her grave. She may not be able to see her Yami, after all...
"Does Tin Bitch need some oil for that squeak-squeaking from her mouth?" His gloved hand rubbed on the wound until he felt the blood seep through to his fingers. He ran his hand up her body, slowing down as he passed over her breast, and finally reached the destination of her mouth. The bloody glove smeared over her lips, leaving a mess that looked like red-lipstick gone wrong. "I think God is trying to tell you something," he whispered in her ear.
"L... leave me alone...!" It was no longer time to worry about being in a pathetic state. Anzu just wanted to survive regardless. She could always clean herself up later. "Like I said... you ain't God's messenger..."
Shadow smirked beneath his mask and stood up, pulling the Bible out from its area on his side. He threw it to the ground, slamed a foot on it, and rubbed over those fake gold letters on the cover. "No, I'm not." He kicked the bible towards her, no wanting the trash to touch him, or be in an area where his foot might move and tap the dark cover. There was a phone on a nightstand, and he walked over to it, throwing it over to her. "So do you call? You'll end up in the hospital where all the other sinners are. Or maybe just lie here and wait for your miracle." He held out his hands, each rising up and falling down, weighing the possibilites.
Be killed or breathe the air of sinners... The dillemma as well as Shadow's disrespect for Anzu's religion wrenched her heart. She just stood, doing nothing but sobbing and cursing herself for not repenting much earlier in her life. But, then, a light flickered from down the hallway. A light of God, perhaps...?
He caught her eyes noticing something and he turned around, noticing the tail end of a light that suddenly went out. Was someone there? He was sure that he hadn't seen anyone else in the house. At least no one had approached him. Perhaps they were waiting for him to make his move? He felt uneasy, not being sure, but also exciment raced through him. Now he had a dilema, and as much as he would have liked to stay and see what was behind door number three, the unknown was too much and he backed up towards the door, grabbing his bag. "Happy bleeding, and may you sin again. Amen." He made his way down the hall to the room with the open window to leave the apartment.
"Anzu...?" a voice called. It was her roommate. "Are you all right? I heard..." She opened the door, finding Anzu, covered in blood and tears. The young woman screamed, loud enough for the entire complex to hear.
Anzu clung to her roommates legs and wept. Her grasp became weaker, and weaker, and she finally fainted, her blood spilling on the floor.
