Kat-chan: *has just woken up from a long nap* *yawn* *looks around* 'Honda hasn't been here yet... what happened to him...?'

Jou-kun: *there's a knock on the hospital room door*

Kat-chan: *springs up, but carefully* *walks to door* *hopes that it's Honda*

Jou-kun: *...and it, like the last time, isn't. Instead it's Jounouchi, who smiles at his other self when he opens the door*

Kat-chan: *slightly disappointed* "Oh... I thought you might be Honda..." *puts hand to mouth, and looks away, shyly*

Jou-kun: *grins* "Looks like you're gonna have to put up with me, doesn't it? How ya feeling?"

Kat-chan: "Hee. A little better..." *lets his pretend big brother in* "Lots better than when I first got here..."

Jou-kun: *comes in and closes the door behind him* "That's good. When're ya getting out of here?"

Kat-chan: *sits back on bed* "Tomorrow morning. I probably have to go to school the day after, and I'm going to be soooooo busy..."

Jou-kun: *nod* "School always stinks. But hey, once you get out, maybe we could do, like, brother-ishly things."

Kat-chan: "Hee, I love learning! But, I always get picked on... But, at least I have nice friends like you."

Jou-kun: *smiles* "Yeah, if I see anybody pickin' on you they'll be learning somethin' themselves."

Kat-chan: *blinks* "...You don't plan on fighting people, do you...?" *lowers head* "I wish we could all just get along..."

Jou-kun: "Hey, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Not all people are nice." *shrugs* "And you're my first little brother, even if it is pretend. So I gotta protect ya, right? Just like I protect my sister." *confident grin*

Kat-chan: "I haven't seen Shizuka-chan in so long... I want all of us to hang out together. I bet she'll be surprised." *smile*

Jou-kun: "Me either... gee, I haven't seen her since the beginning of the summer. And yeah, I bet she'd like having two brothers." *looks up at the cieling and smiles*

Kat-chan: "...I need to go see Yuugi, too. You've been with him recently...?"

Jou-kun: "Not really... not for a couple weeks. He's been busy with Jii-chan at the shop, so..." *shrugs* =\

Jou-kun: "Though he's supposed to be coming over later."

Kat-chan: "Really...? I say that... we should... both get together sometime..."

Jou-kun: "Hey, good idea. Maybe I can get hold of Shizuka and we can all, y'know." *smiles*

Kat-chan: *cute anime smile* *giggle*

Jou-kun: "Oh! I just remembered!"

Kat-chan: "Huh?" blinks*

Jou-kun: "Since you were stuck in here for Halloween, you, uh, can have some of my candy. Because I thought it wouldn't be fair if I got it and you didn't, so... but I forgot it."

Kat-chan: *eyes light up* "...Really...? Aw, thank you... But, that's all right." *grin* "One of the nurses were nice enough to give me some sugar-free candy, too... Um, what were you for Halloween, onii-chan?"

Jou-kun: *blushes a bit at the 'onii-chan'* "Oh, er, okay." *grins sheepishly* "Just sayin'."

Kat-chan: "Hee. I wanted to be a puppy, and then I wanted to be a mouse... But, then I was gonna be a cute punk/pop star. Because of my hair, and... I once saw this guy in a magazine, and he was cute..." *blush* "He wore just a regular polo shirt and torn jeans, so I thought I could do that..."

Jou-kun: "Cool, d'you know who it was? Or...?" *looks at his other self, trying to imagine him dressed as someone famous*

Kat-chan: "Actually, it was a fashion model. He was advertising guitars... He really was cute..." *blushes even more* "Oh! Uh, sorry... Um, they probably wouldn't let you bring in candy, anyway, so don't worry about it..."

Kat-chan: "...Maybe next year I'll dress up as Shun from Exile..." *daydreams about how cute Shun is*

Kat-chan: *blush* "Oh! Um... did you... want to talk about something else, oni-chan...?"

Jou-kun: *snaps back to attention* "U-uh, What d'you want to talk about?"

Kat-chan: "Um... I don't really wanna talk about Shadow anymore... I'm kinda afraid... Um, what are you afraid of, Jounouchi-kun?"

Kat-chan: "...I'm afraid of snakes, and spiders, and being alone, and violence, and speaking in front of lots of people, and d-death..." *shivers*

Jou-kun: "I'm afraid mostly of being alone, y'know, without my friends being around. Just... by myself." *sighs*

Kat-chan: "I really don't like being alone. I get nervous in front of strangers if I am... And... I'm afraid of people making fun of me..."

Jou-kun: "I'm not really sure what else I'm afraid of." *shrugs*

Kat-chan: "You seem like a pretty brave person. Lots braver than me." *glances away* "Honda said I'm braver, but... I'm not too sure..." *blush*
