Omega19x: (yeah, that's real fantasy there...)
ph33r my rod: *is sitting on the couch and flipping through channels as usual, looks over at Ryou* "Hey."
Omega19x: "... hey, Malik."
ph33r my rod: *eyes Ryou for a moment* "...you feeling okay?"
Omega19x: "...just a little tired from this weekend... I... boy was my boss upset that I went on another international vacation without telling him..."
Omega19x: "... seeing as I... I usually come back sick or something..."
ph33r my rod: *frowns* "...what'd he say to you?"
Omega19x: not much... just... just the usual..."
Omega19x: "... though I... I think I got out of having to give samples this week... They're doing some... some kind of investigation at the hospital... probably something Honda and Seto started..."
Omega19x: "He... he didn't demand samples today... like... like he does every Monday..."
ph33r my rod: "...huh, weird. Not that it's a bad thing, though..."
Omega19x: "... no... probably not. Might even be a good thing... I... I guess I'm just tired..."
Omega19x: *sits on the couch*
Omega19x: "... There's a lot to be done before the party on Saturday..."
ph33r my rod: "... Like?"
Omega19x: "... cooking, mainly... I... You saw the list of what everyone was bringing... Not much."
ph33r my rod: *nods*
Omega19x: "I have a lot of cooking to do."
Omega19x: "Everyone's bringing desserts, but not much else..."
ph33r my rod: "...hm. I could probably help out somehow... I know Isis will, definitely."
Omega19x: *weak smile*
Omega19x: "I... hope this will be a special party... You know... with all our family and friends closeby..."
ph33r my rod: *nods* "And hopefully people won't argue the whole time."
Omega19x: "That would be nice..."
Omega19x: "my... my birthday party didn't quite go very well... Maybe this one will be better..."
ph33r my rod: "Yeah." *scoots closer to Ryou, wrapping an arm around him* "...I don't wanna have to use the hose again."
Omega19x: "I don't want to see everyone fighting again..." *sigh*
Omega19x: *leans into Malik's arm*
Omega19x: "... I... I hope people like the party... I... I don't think they like it when I try to have one..."
ph33r my rod: "... Maybe it's because birthdays are generally celebrated all over, and plus there's a lot of them every year. As far as I know, this one isn't an official Japanese holiday, and plus it's one of those one-day-a-year things, so... it might be different than how your birthday went. If that makes any sense."
Omega19x: "... right... it's... it's some American holiday my Dad got to experience when he was traveling..."
Omega19x: "... it... it might be different."
ph33r my rod: *nods* "...hopefully."
Omega19x: *leans into Malik's shoulder*
Omega19x: "I... I don't know if I'm... I'm cut out for... having parties... Things always seem to go wrong."
ph33r my rod: *reaches up to gently stroke Ryou's arm* "You might be better than you think. Keep in mind that the last party was pretty much thrown together at the last minute by me; you had no idea about it."
Omega19x: "...but... everyone got mad at me..."
ph33r my rod: "... They kept on going off on their own little spiels with each other. That doesn't mean they were mad at you."
Omega19x: *looks down*
Omega19x: "... they were mad at me for forcing them to be together... and... and that's exactly what this party is supposed to be about... being together..."
ph33r my rod: "..." *reaches under Ryou's chin, gently lifting his head up* "...that won't happen this time. If people get out-of-line, we'll make them go talk to someone else. Or something like that."
Omega19x: *weak nod*
Omega19x: "I've been thinking about what to make though... I've almost got a menu planned out in my head."
ph33r my rod: "What kind of stuff is it?"
Omega19x: "Well, we have to have turkey."
Omega19x: "... but I'll make a big stuffed pumpkin for all the vegetarians."
ph33r my rod: "...interesting."
Omega19x: "And I can use some of the turkey to make cranberry stuffed turkey breast. The recipe looks really yummy..."
Omega19x: "For side dishes, Mokuba's bringing stuffing... but I need to make some vegetarian stuffing... maybe with mushrooms."
Omega19x: "Baked sweet potatoes with pecans and raisins, baby carrots with brown sugar glaze, and a traditional green bean casserole with almonds."
Omega19x: "... oh, and we need bread, so I was thinking... um... cranberry muffins."
ph33r my rod: "...ooh. Sounds good."
Omega19x: "The appetizers will be simple... roasted pumpkin seeds to go along with the stuffed pumpkin... And crackers with spicy pumpkin dip. And if I get the chance, I want to make some mini sweet potato pies."
Omega19x: "Jou's bringing soda... I'll probably make cranberry tea to tie it all together... and I think about four other people are making desserts. Plus Mokuba's having his chefs make pies."
ph33r my rod: "...wow, so there's gonna be a lot of food."
Omega19x: "... well... so many people are coming... I... We need to have enough... it's like having a big feast."
Omega19x: "... see what I mean about... about cooking so much this week..."
ph33r my rod: *nod* "Yeah, I see what you mean. But..." *small smile* "You're still tired from the trip, and with me and Isis helping you, it shouldn't take so long. You should at least rest up a bit more before you start doing everything..."
Omega19x: "... probably true."
ph33r my rod: "I don't want you to get overwhelmed by busying yourself so soon after it."
Omega19x: "... but I need... I need to get started..."
ph33r my rod: "I'm not telling you to wait until the last minute to do it. Just... rest for tonight, and you'll still have four days to work on it."
ph33r my rod: (( brb ))

Omega19x: "... tomorrow I'll head up to the market before work. And buy most of the ingredients."
ph33r my rod: *nod* "Okay."
ph33r my rod: "Until then, you should just rest up, get some of your energy back. Y'know?"
Omega19x: "... yeah... I... I know..."
Omega19x: *sigh*
ph33r my rod: "..." *pulls Ryou up close to his side*
Omega19x: *leans into Malik. it's one of the most comfortable places he knows*
ph33r my rod: "...just relax for now."
Omega19x: *nods*
ph33r my rod: *just sits there with Ryou leaning against him, gently stroking his hair*
Omega19x: *if Ryou was a kitten, he'd be purring*
Omega19x: "... you're... so good to me..."
ph33r my rod: *smiles*
Omega19x: *wraps his arms around Malik's neck*
ph33r my rod: *drapes his free arm around Ryou's waist, bringing his other hand up to rest on the side of his face*
Omega19x: *trembles a little, but turns to face Malik, one pair of eyes staring into the other's.*
ph33r my rod: *gently strokes Ryou's cheek with his thumb, in a calming gesture*
Omega19x: "...I... I want to be good to you..."
ph33r my rod: "...you are."
Omega19x: *leans in, and kisses Malik gently*
Omega19x: (now, how long is the Mana in your house?)
ph33r my rod: (( Not sure how long. Mun said she was going to get an apartment of her own soon, so I don't really know. It was supposed to just be for a few days. ))
Omega19x: (I can just picture the two of them in an almost close to possibly intimate moment, with mana bursting down the stairs all 'HEY! WHADDYA DOIN'! WHADDYA DOIN'!?! *happybubblebubblejoy!pounce*' and it ruining the moment.)

Omega19x: *blushes, and kisses Malik again*
ph33r my rod: *kisses him back, moving his hand around to the back of Ryou's neck*
Omega19x: *thre trembling Ryou attempts to kiss him longer, but eventually pulls away*
ph33r my rod: "..." *smiles a little, gently toying with Ryou's hair*
Omega19x: *smiles back*
Omega19x: (and I really need to head off. I'm tired myself)
