Omega19x: *Ryou is at home, and for now, we might as well say his yami decided he should take a break, before either one of them probably gets killed in the process of training*
ph33r my rod: *comes back from his discussion with Mahaado*
ph33r my rod: "...hey, Ryou."
Omega19x: *is sitting on the couch, studying the millennium ring, and looks up* "... h..hey Malik..."
ph33r my rod: *sits down next to him* "You okay...?"
Omega19x: *shakes his head* "... I'm... I'm... terrified..."
Omega19x: "I... I've... I've been trying to block... with this... and... and I keep getting hit..."
Omega19x: "And yami's going really easy on me..."
ph33r my rod: "..." *wraps an arm around Ryou's shoulders* "I don't think you'll have anything to worry about. I went to go... have a few words with Mahaado."
Omega19x: "... he... he didn't hurt you... did he?"
ph33r my rod: *shakes head* "No. But he said he was going to look at your ka before he tried to attack or anything, and... considering what it is, he likely won't give us any problems."
Omega19x: "... You... you mean... he... he isn't going to... to hurt me at all?"
ph33r my rod: "Well, he'll definitely think twice about it when he sees your ka..."
Omega19x: "... how so?"
Omega19x: *lets the ring fall to his chest*
ph33r my rod: "If your ka is the same as it was when we were uh... fighting your fears, then he'll see that a little white wizard doesn't have a bit of darkness in his soul." *smiles* "And I'm betting that yours is the same, since when he looked at my ka, it was still Ra..."
Omega19x: "... he saw your soul? H..how?"
ph33r my rod: "He has a spell that can mimic the effects of the Millennium Ankh."
Omega19x: "That's how you visited my soul room..."
Omega19x: "... so... so he can see inside my soul?"
ph33r my rod: *nods*
ph33r my rod: "Yeah."
Omega19x: "... That... that makes me feel a little better... but... but what if he still attacks... What if he doesn't like my... my ka, or whatever it is?"
ph33r my rod: "Whether he actually likes it or not isn't important. Whether it's a good ka or not is, and he'll have to respect it if it's a good one. And I know yours is, so..."
Omega19x: *hugs Malik* "... I'm... I'm still scared... What if he doesn't respect it? What if he... what if he decides to kill me anyway?"
ph33r my rod: *hugs back* "Then... we'll still protect you."
Omega19x: *hugs him tighter* "... oh Malik..."
ph33r my rod: *gently kisses his cheek* "... It'll be okay, no matter what happens."
Omega19x: *nods*
Omega19x: "... I... I wish I knew how to use this..."
Omega19x: "Yami... started teaching me... but... but then he took a break... um... We should probably put something over that really big burn mark on the wall... before Isis gets back."
ph33r my rod: *blinks and looks over at said wall* "...oi."
Omega19x: "... I... I ducked instead of... of deflecting..."
ph33r my rod: "...you said you kept getting hit? By the looks of that mark... better the wall got hit than you.
Omega19x: "... the big crack under it... is from me..."
ph33r my rod: "...oh."
Omega19x: "... me hitting the wall... Can.... can we put something in front of that too?"
ph33r my rod: "Uh, yeah."
Omega19x: "... Will you help me practice, Malik?"
Omega19x: "If... if he does attack... I... I won't stand a chance if I get hit with his magic..."
ph33r my rod: "..." *nods*
Omega19x: "We've been using the rod... to... to send a light blast of power..."
Omega19x: "I've been trying to deflect it..."
Omega19x: *trembles as he stands back up*
ph33r my rod: *stands up* "... Maybe we should go outside to do this? That way we won't destroy the house..."
Omega19x: "... maybe that's a good idea."
Omega19x: "... out back? or out front... where everyone might be able to see us?"
ph33r my rod: "Out back should be good, probably on the beach. Nobody's been down there since it's been snowing so much."
Omega19x: "...okay..."
Omega19x: *puts on his coat, and heads down to the beach with Malik behind him*
ph33r my rod: *walk walk walk*
Omega19x: "...okay... t..try to hit me..."
Omega19x: *concentrates as hard as he can, picturing the ring stopping the attack*
ph33r my rod: "..." *focuses, sending a light blast of energy out of the Rod*
Omega19x: *it hits, once again, sending Ryou flying back, head over heels rolling in the sand*
Omega19x: "...ow..."
ph33r my rod: *runs over to him* "You okay?"
Omega19x: "...it... it didn't work... Try it again!"
Omega19x: *a little determination goes a long way?*
ph33r my rod: "..." *nods and tries again*
Omega19x: *stands back up, and again - this time, flying a little farther backwards*
Omega19x: "..."
ph33r my rod: "..." *sighs* "You'll get it eventually..."
Omega19x: "...but... but by the end of today?"
Omega19x: *stands up slowly, ready to try it one last time*
Omega19x: "...oh yami... please help me..." *he whispers to the ring.*
ph33r my rod: "..." *tries again*
Omega19x: *a flash of light, and the beam is deflected! Heading straight back towards Malik.*
ph33r my rod: "Eep!" *dives out of the way*
Omega19x: *gasps* "Malik!"
Omega19x: *runs over* "...are... are you okay?"
ph33r my rod: "...uh huh." *stands up, dusting sand and snow off of his coat*
Omega19x: "... Did you see that?!" *beams excitedly* "...I... I did it... I actually did it!"
ph33r my rod: "...yeah, you did it." *grins*
Omega19x: "... that's... that's one out of.. .um... ten? Maybe?"
ph33r my rod: "Should we try it again?"
Omega19x: "... yes... We... we should..."
Omega19x: "...maybe... a ... a little stronger attack..."
Omega19x: *readies himself*
ph33r my rod: "...okay." *does it again, makes it a little bit stronger than he has been*
Omega19x: *another deflection!*
ph33r my rod: *ducks*
Omega19x: *smiles*
Omega19x: "... okay... Give me a big one!"
ph33r my rod: "Okay. I think you're getting the hang of this!" *does a pretty big blast and hopes to Ra that he can deflect it*
Omega19x: *oops.*
Omega19x: *a shriek, and Ryou is sent reeling backwards, driven deep into the sand*
ph33r my rod: "...oh shit." *runs over to him* "Ryou?"
Omega19x: *weak groan*
Omega19x: "...o..owwww..."
ph33r my rod: "Are you okay...?"
Omega19x: *a slow blink*
Omega19x: "... th... I'm in trouble..."
ph33r my rod: "..." *holds out his hand*

Omega19x: "... may...maybe we... should... t..take a... a break..."
ph33r my rod: *nods and pulls him up*
Omega19x: *gets to his feet, and falls right back backwards*
Omega19x: *splat in the mixture of snow and sand*

Omega19x: *yeah, that's one wiped out Ryou*
Omega19x: *and Malik probably wasn't even going anywhere close to full blast with his rod*
ph33r my rod: *probably not, and mun will not take that out of context*

ph33r my rod: "..." *sighs and lifts Ryou up, carrying him back to the house*

ph33r my rod: *looks down at him* "For what...?"
Omega19x: "...I... I tried... to deflect it... I missed..."
ph33r my rod: *sighs again, holding him tighter* "You've been using a lot of your energy for this. You should rest for a while..."
ph33r my rod: *back in the house by this time*
Omega19x: "... I don't even know how to attack..."
ph33r my rod: *sits down on the couch, holding Ryou in his lap* "Well... deflecting attacks was just a precaution, right? If he doesn't agree with your ka for some reason..."

ph33r my rod: *hugs Ryou* "...you did deflect it twice, though. Maybe it was just because that last blast was so big."
Omega19x: "... if he attacks... he... he'll use an even bigger blast, though..."
Omega19x: *sighs* "... I can't learn this in a day..."
Omega19x: "... Yami had three thousand years to... to think about it..."
Omega19x: "He lived in it.. of course he knows all its secrets..."

ph33r my rod: "He said after he got off work."
Omega19x: "... that can't be too long from now... Most stores close at... at five, right?"

Omega19x: "I'm scared..."
