Omega19x: *Ryou is bundled in the bed, in a couple of blankets as well. Kura is too. And still asleep. I don't think anyone really got out of bed today*
Omega19x: *thoughts are still on last night. For obvious reasons.*
ph33r my rod: *sits on the edge of the bed, blankly staring out the window. He suddenly falls forward, hitting his head on said window* "...ow..."
Omega19x: "... Malik?"
Omega19x: "... y..you o...okay..?"
ph33r my rod: *sits back up, rubbing his forehead* "...uh huh. I think I kinda halfway dozed off for a second..."
Omega19x: "... Malik... I... I want to thank you..."
ph33r my rod: *turns around and looks at him* "...huh?"
Omega19x: *eyes at floor* "... You... you didn't have to do what you did last night... I... That... that was... was very brave of you to stand and protect us..."
Omega19x: "... And... and you saved both of our lives..."
Omega19x: "... That... I don't think words express how much that means to me..."
ph33r my rod: "...oh." *looks out window again* "I couldn't let them hurt you... either of you."
Omega19x: "... I..." *crawls forward to hug Malik* "... I was so scared that... that he'd hurt you too...
Omega19x: For... for standing up for me..."
ph33r my rod: "..." *sighs* "I was scared too."
Omega19x: "... I... I don't remember much of what happened after I... I took the hit for... for my yami... I... the last thing I thought was... what if he comes after my yami again... or you next... and... and I can't stand back up... to... to stand in the way..."
ph33r my rod: *turns completely around and wraps his arms around Ryou, gently hugging him* "I... could barely even see what happened. And when I saw you completely frozen like that, I..." *buries his face in Ryou's shoulder* "...I was so scared. I didn't know what to do."
Omega19x: "...I... I don't remember being frozen... It... it just felt like I passed out..."
Omega19x: "...I... I'm sorry, Malik. I'm sorry for somehow starting this whole mess..."
ph33r my rod: *holds him tighter* "It's... okay. It's over for now. I can't say for good, but..." *sighs*
Omega19x: God... they... they were just going to kill him... "
Omega19x: "They... they all wanted him dead..."
Omega19x: *glances over at his sleeping yami*
Omega19x: "It's... it's not right, Malik."
ph33r my rod: *shakes head* "No. I don't even know what led up to that... I thought they were going to bring him back after you."
Omega19x: "When Mahaado was after me, half of Domino City came running... When... when he turned to my yami... they... they all joined on his side..."
Omega19x: "... if... if I didn't stand up for him... n...no one would have."
Omega19x: "Oh, Malik, how lucky we are to have so many people that care about us... If... if he was after you... Oh, Isis, Rishid, your other self, I'd be on top of you in an instant... everyone would... But no one wanted to protect him."
ph33r my rod: "I still would've, even if you hadn't... because it upsets you when he's hurt."
Omega19x: "... It's... it's not the same thing, though..."
Omega19x: "... You... you don't really think he deserved to die, do you?"
ph33r my rod: "No, I don't. I mean... if he was gonna destroy the world or something, don't you think he would've done it already?" *weak attempt to lighten the mood*
Omega19x: "... th..three thousand years is a long time..."
ph33r my rod: *nods*
Omega19x: "...oh Malik..." *wraps his arms around him, just hugging*

ph33r my rod: *gently rubs his back* "I know. They'll... probably come back and try again. But we're not going to let them win."
ph33r my rod: *still can't believe Rishid sided with Mahaado*

ph33r my rod: *nods* "...I didn't hear what he told Mahaado at first, but for a while it was like he wanted to bring both of you back. I don't know what happened to make him suddenly turn against Bakura..." *wasn't freaked out by the sight of his ka or anything*
Omega19x: "... I... I know it isn't... th...the most angelic spirit in the world... I... I know what he's done... But still... He's your brother."
Omega19x: "He considers me like family... or so... I thought..."
ph33r my rod: "..." *suddenly tenses up, tightening his arms around Ryou*

ph33r my rod: *raises his head, wiping at one of his eyes* "Well... we all came out of it alive. It's over for now..."
Omega19x: *keeps his arms wrapped tightly around Malik*

ph33r my rod: "...I'm sorry. I told you when he saw your ka, everything would be okay... look where that went."
