Omega19x: *Ryou is on the couch.*
Omega19x: *He's laying there, curled up tightly in a ball.*
ph33r my rod: *comes in from outside, having done some checking up on his motorbike* "...Ryou?" *walks over to the couch*
Omega19x: *The boy looks up, he looks like he's in quite a bit of pain*
ph33r my rod: "...what's wrong?" *puts his hand on Ryou's shoulder*
Omega19x: "... it... it'll go away in... in a couple hours... It... it happens every few months or so..." *holds his upper abdomen tightly.*
ph33r my rod: *blinks, not really remembering it happening before... if it did, it was overlooked by more severe sicknesses* "Do you need anything...?"
Omega19x: *it usually was overlooked, that, or it tended to happen at night, so it was not as noticible* "... some... some pain medicine... m...might be nice... but it'll probably pass before... before it even kicks in."
Omega19x: *plothole*
ph33r my rod: *sits down next to Ryou, gently rubbing his back* "Maybe it won't hurt as much if you lay flat... being all huddled up like that is just putting pressure on it."
Omega19x: "..." *tries to straighten out, but quickly curls back up.* "... no... I... I think it's better...t..this way..."
Omega19x: "... don't... don't worry... Shogi used to say this... this was just punishment for losing too much weight when I was sick... It's... harmless... really... Just painful."
ph33r my rod: "...okay." *reaches up to lightly pet his hair, feeling bad that he can't help much*
Omega19x: "... just another part of me that... that doesn't really work right... I... I guess..."
Omega19x: *curls up tighter, but smiles weakly at Malik*
ph33r my rod: "... Maybe you should have it checked out at the other hospital, just to be on the safe side... I wouldn't put it past Shogi to say something like that when it's something more serious."
Omega19x: "... I... I don't think it's... a..anything serious... just... just a gallstone or... or something..."
Omega19x: "... p..please... s..stay here with me..."
ph33r my rod: *nods, still a bit worried* "Okay."
Omega19x: *latches on to Malik's hand with one hand*
ph33r my rod: *gives Ryou's hand a light squeeze* "Is there anything I can do?"
Omega19x: "... j...just hold me... please?"
ph33r my rod: "Okay..." *gently wraps his arms around Ryou*
Omega19x: *leans against them*
Omega19x: *so very comforting*
ph33r my rod: *rests his head against Ryou's* "I'm sorry you're in pain..."
Omega19x: "... it'll... it'll go away soon..."
Omega19x: "... it... it always does..."
Omega19x: "... never lasts more than a couple of hours... usually... usually o..only an hour or so..."
ph33r my rod: "How long has it been hurting?"
Omega19x: "... about fif...fifteen minutes... b...before you came home..."
Omega19x: "...a..at least I... I didn't throw up... s..sometimes... I... I do..."
ph33r my rod: *softly kisses the side of his head* "...maybe you should try not to think about it, then it might not hurt as much..."
Omega19x: "... w..will you t..tell me a story... to... to help me take my... my mind off of it?"
ph33r my rod: "... What kind of story?"
Omega19x: "... a... a nice one..."
Omega19x: *weak smile*
ph33r my rod: *nods* "Okay." *tries to remember any stories Isis might've told him when he was younger*
ph33r my rod: (( *runs to google to search* XD ))
Omega19x: (tee hee)
ph33r my rod: (( ...*tries to find a short one* ))
ph33r my rod: (( I found some Egypt-themed ones~ ))
Omega19x: (whee!)
ph33r my rod: *thinks* "...I can really only remember a couple of stories that Isis told me when I was little... they're kinda like Egyptian fairy tales, almost." *makes a weird face*
Omega19x: *blinks, and looks at Malik* "...o..okay."
ph33r my rod: *feels a little bit silly for remembering, but goes along with the story anyway* "Well... once there were these two kids, a brother and a sister. One day they were playing outside, and they found a baby crocodile..."
ph33r my rod: *gently strokes Ryou's hair as he talks* "They decided to make it their pet. So every day they would feed it and take care of it, and they would even go swimming with it in the Nile. But one day they saw a boat and they climbed on, hiding from the crew... and by the next morning, they were hundreds of miles away from their village."
Omega19x: *listens*
ph33r my rod: "The captain of the boat discovered them and sailed into port to find a place for them to stay, while the rest of the crew returned to their village to inform their family where they were. The man that the two kids stayed with was actually an artist. So he taught the brother how to create sculptures, and the sister how to draw and paint, and before long they were creating all kinds of artwork."
ph33r my rod: "The man got commissioned to work on a few rooms inside of a pyramid, and he took the kids with him to help decorate the walls of the tomb, completely in awe of their talents. One day, the king visited the tomb, and was so impressed with it, he asked the kids to design a present for his wife. They began working on it, and by the time of the queen's party, it was ready for unveiling."
ph33r my rod: "She ended up being so pleased with the gift that the kids soon became very famous for their work. But a gang of bandits had heard of their work, and one night they kidnapped the kids, sailing off with them. They were going to hold up for ransom..."
Omega19x: "... oh my..."
ph33r my rod: "But then the boat got caught in a storm and sank. Everyone on their boat died except for the two kids, but as they were floating in the water, the baby crododile that they had found a long time before came back to rescue them, fully grown. It took them back home, and they were reunited with their family." *smiles*
Omega19x: *weak smile*
ph33r my rod: "...and that's it. I think I can only remember that one so well 'cause I made Isis tell it to me over and over again..." *blushes a little*
Omega19x: "... that's... so sweet..."
Omega19x: *straightens out a little* "I think... it's starting to go away..."
ph33r my rod: *smile* "That's good... I'd tell you another story, but that's the only one I can remember clearly."
ph33r my rod: (( i.e. The only one mun can shorten and still have it retain its meaning. XD ))
Omega19x: (heh)
Omega19x: "it... it was a wonderful story..."
ph33r my rod: "It was my favorite."
Omega19x: *smiles* "... you're my favorite..."
ph33r my rod: *gently hugs Ryou* "...you're mine too."
Omega19x: *blushes a little*
Omega19x: "... I... I do think it's going away..."
Omega19x: "it doesn't hurt nearly as much anymore." *smiles*
ph33r my rod: "That's good." *grins*
ph33r my rod: "So it did help you take your mind off of it a bit, huh."
Omega19x: *weak nod* "... it did..."
Omega19x: "I... I was hoping it would pass before you got home though... so... so you wouldn't worry..."
ph33r my rod: *reaches down, lightly rubbing Ryou's tummy* "...I want to know if you're in pain, though... so I can try and make it better."
Omega19x: *weak nod*
Omega19x: "... at least something like this didn't happen when Zahra was in my body..."
Omega19x: *speaking of the kitty, she scuttles out from under the couch*
ph33r my rod: *blinks* "Hey there, Zahra."
Omega19x: *the little kitty looks up at Ryou and mews*
Omega19x: "... hey girl..." *reaches down and pets her gently, and she licks Ryou's hand*
ph33r my rod: *bends down and gently picks her up, bringing her up into Ryou's lap*
Omega19x: *smiles*
Omega19x: *she mews again, and then decides to go to sleep, right there.*
ph33r my rod: "Aww..." *pets her, careful not to wake her up*
Omega19x: "... I... I guess she's not scared of me anymore..."
Omega19x: *smiles*
ph33r my rod: "I guess so..." *smiles back, leaning against him a bit*
Omega19x: "... thank you for staying here with me..."
ph33r my rod: "No problem... I would've stayed with you regardless of whether you'd asked me to or not."
Omega19x: *would lean over and kiss him, but there's a sleeping kitty percariously perched in the way*
ph33r my rod: *leans over and pecks him on the cheek, since his lap is cat-free*
Omega19x: (don't tell that to Aisha)
ph33r my rod: (( Wha? XD ))
Omega19x: (*that your lap is cat free)
Omega19x: (she will make sure it isn't for long)
ph33r my rod: (( Oh. At the moment, I mean. ;D ))
Omega19x: "... s...sorry I'm not more talkative... I'm... I'm pretty tired now..."
ph33r my rod: "It's okay, I understand." *smiles*
Omega19x: *leans head up against the back of the couch. He's tired enough to probably fall asleep with the cat still in his lap.*
