Omega19x: *smiles, seeing Malik at the door* "... hey..."
ph33r my rod: *grins a little in spite of himself and moves over to the usual chair-beside-the-bed, after pushing the door shut* "Hey."
Omega19x: "... you're... free."
ph33r my rod: *nods* "Yeah."
Omega19x: *reaches for the bowl of yogurt*
Omega19x: "I'm glad."
ph33r my rod: *smiles* "Now I just gotta wait for you to be released, and then we can go home."
Omega19x: "... that... that could be a while. And... and you have a nice warm bed at home. You should be trying to... to still get better. Not wait around for me..."
ph33r my rod: "Well, it'd just be a pain to go back-and-forth from here and home each day, so I might as well just stay here and save some trouble."
Omega19x: *finally eats a spoonful of the yogurt* "... are... are you sure?"
Omega19x: "... I... I don't want you to be uncomfortable here, really..."
ph33r my rod: *smiles a little* "It's worth it as long as I can see you. I wouldn't be able to wait for you to come home..."
Omega19x: "I... I want to be out of here as soon as possible..."
Omega19x: "But... but after those test results... I... I don't know if they'll still release me on Monday..."
ph33r my rod: "...hopefully they will."
Omega19x: "... you know... even the yogurt tastes like cardboard."
ph33r my rod: *raises his eyebrows, then smirks and reaches under Ryou's bed* "Y'know, before I was discharged today, I had to... move some things around." *takes out the box of cream puffs that Mana brought* "They haven't been opened, so they should still be good. But you think they'd fit in your diet?"
Omega19x: "... I... don't remember him saying 'no cream puffs...:
ph33r my rod: "Well, then... I'm sure they taste better than whatever crap they gave you to eat."
Omega19x: "As long as they aren't banana... I bet they'd be all right..."
ph33r my rod: *opens the box* "I think they're just plain ones."
Omega19x: *smiles*

Omega19x: *takes a cream puff from the box and bites into it slowly, savoring the yummy goodness of the little pastry*
Omega19x: "... I... I guess you've heard everything Dr. Malouf has... has told me..."
ph33r my rod: *nods* "...yeah."
Omega19x: "... could be worse, I suppose..."
Omega19x: "... if... if something like this isn't treated, it... it could be... you know... f..fatal..."
Omega19x: "but it can be treated. And that's the good thing."
ph33r my rod: "... Yeah, that's a relief." *reaches over and takes Ryou's hand* "I don't know what I'd do if it couldn't be treated..."
Omega19x: "... If I've had it for... for a long time, I don't know why Dr. Shogi never noticed it... even with all those tests..."
ph33r my rod: "Maybe he did and just didn't say anything?"
Omega19x: "... my... my yami thinks that... um... Shogi... that he... that he made me sick..."
Omega19x: "... I... I'm scared to admit it... but... what if that's true..."
ph33r my rod: *frowns* "I heard about that. Honestly, I wouldn't put it past him if he did that just so he could keep you as his little lab rat."
Omega19x: "But that's just... just terrible to think... And... and if he did it to me... what if.. what if he did it to someone else too!"
ph33r my rod: "I doubt it. He may be a jerk, but you were the one who gave him a name in the medical world."
Omega19x: "... it's... awful, though... If this is true..."
Omega19x: *shivers*
ph33r my rod: *nods* "Yeah."
Omega19x: "... I... I can't believe it. I... I thought he... he wanted to help me... and... and oh, that was a mistake..."
ph33r my rod: *gently squeezes his hand* "...I'm sorry he messed you up so much."
Omega19x: "... I.. I guess I am pretty gullible..." *a long sigh*
ph33r my rod: "Well... at least you're going to get better now. That's what's important, right?"

Omega19x: "still... of all the doctors... I... I could have gotten in this entire city...

Omega19x: "..." *sighs*
Omega19x: "... this... this whole thing is my fault for trusting him..."
ph33r my rod: *lets go of his hand to reach up and brush some hair behind Ryou's ear* "...well, at first we didn't know he was going to be such a jackass. But I do agree that it's not fair you got him, of all people..."
Omega19x: *looks up at Malik* "...it isn't fair..."
ph33r my rod: *shakes head* "...not at all. But he can't hurt you anymore, Ryou."
Omega19x: *wraps his weak arms around Malik and hugs him* "... I'm... sorry... I'm sorry I fell for his tricks and... and caused everyone so much... so much grief..."
ph33r my rod: *winces a tiny bit, but runs his hand through Ryou's hair, gently kissing his cheek* "It's okay... you're getting better, and you have a better doctor now, and... it's okay."
Omega19x: *noticed the wince, and pulled back, mentally cursing himself for getting too close to the injured shoulder and collarbone*
Omega19x: "...sorry..."
ph33r my rod: *small smile* "It's alright... that was the first hug I've had from you in a while."
Omega19x: "... I guess I'm... feeling better."
Omega19x: "... it... it isn't as hard to... sit up today."
Omega19x: *smile*
ph33r my rod: "That's a good sign." *grins*
Omega19x: "... I think so too."
ph33r my rod: *looks at the box of cream puffs, which is still sitting in Ryou's lap* "...how are the puffs?"
Omega19x: *he takes another* "... they are wonderful. Just... just like you are."
Omega19x: *smiles*
ph33r my rod: *smiles back, blushing a little* "Mana brought them, I just kept them safe."
Omega19x: "...no matter what... or how sick I get... I don't think I could ever turn down a cream puff..."
Omega19x: "... or a...a ... a kiss from Malik..."
Omega19x: *cute smile*
ph33r my rod: *grins and takes his hand again, lightly kissing it*
