Omega19x: "...m..Malik?"
ph33r my rod: "... Ryou?"
Omega19x: "... h...hi..."
ph33r my rod: "Where are you...?"
Omega19x: "I... I went to see my yami... and... and I was coming back, but... m...my car seems to have... broken down. I'm at a pay phone by the... the trade district..."
ph33r my rod: "...you need me to come and get you?"
Omega19x: "p..please... I... I'm scared..."
ph33r my rod: "Alright... I'll be there as soon as I can, okay?"
Omega19x: "mmhmm..."
Omega19x: *click*
Omega19x: *magical vroomlapse?*
ph33r my rod: *vroomlapse indeed*
ph33r my rod: *shortly shows up with Isis, since she has to drive and all*
Omega19x: *Ryou is by his car, standing in the rain. He's drenched, but otherwise fine*
Omega19x: "... Malik?"
ph33r my rod: *opens car door, poking his head out* "Hey..."
Omega19x: "oh Malik..." *he runs right into his arms*
Omega19x: "... I... I just... I just had to talk to my yami... I... I thought he might know what to do... to make me happy... since... since he was in my head for so long... and... and the car... it... it won't start... And... and please don't leave me..."
ph33r my rod: *hugs him, gently petting his wet hair* "Shh, it's okay... um, we'll call a tow truck for your car or something..."
Omega19x: "... th..thank you..."
ph33r my rod: "...come on, let's get out of the rain before we get sick." *pulls him into the car*
Omega19x: *weak nod, and climbs in the car, trying not to get everything wet, but that's hard, considering...*
ph33r my rod: *thankfully, he had the foresight to bring a towel with him, and drapes it around Ryou's shoulders*
Omega19x: "... thank you..."
ph33r my rod: *wraps his arm around him, trying to warm him up a little, while Isis calls for a tow truck to get Ryou's car back to the house (or something)*
Omega19x: (yeah, sure.)
ph33r my rod: (( ...or we could just skip that and say it gets back there via plot hole. :D ))
Omega19x: *leans in to Malik* "... I'm sorry... for... for how I've been... ..acting..."
Omega19x: (I done gone and drove my car into that there plot hole. And it ended up back in muh driveway.)

Omega19x: "It's... not your fault... I... I shouldn't have... I... I'm sorry..."
ph33r my rod: *gently nuzzles the side of Ryou's head* "It's okay... really."
Omega19x: "... my... my yami said I... I should try... to... to make myself happy..."
Omega19x: "not... worry about other people first..."
ph33r my rod: *nods* "He's right, you should focus on making yourself happy before you try and make others happy... including me."
Omega19x: "... w..what makes me happy... is... is just being in your arms... I... I've just been... too... sad... to remember it."
ph33r my rod: *wraps his other arm around Ryou, giving him a warm hug*
Omega19x: *weak smile*
ph33r my rod: *smiles back* "...you should take a warm shower when we get back home. It'll do you some good."
Omega19x: "... I... I think it would..."

Omega19x: *Ryou comes out of the shower, in warm pajamas, and a towel draped over his white hair.*
ph33r my rod: *has also changed out of his semi-wet clothes, and is curled up on his bed* "Hey... feel a little better?"
Omega19x: "... I... I guess I haven't been thinking clearly, Malik... I... I guess I.. I miss them... It's like... losing everyone all over again..."
ph33r my rod: "That's understandable, kinda... you've lost so many people in your life that you didn't want to lose them, even though you knew they had to go back eventually..."
Omega19x: "I... I know they're not dead... that.... that they're just really far away... but... It still hurts."
Omega19x: "I guess I've just been doing the same thing I... I always did when... when someone died... I... I just push everyone else away... so nobody gets hurt..."
Omega19x: "I shouldn't... but... I did."
Omega19x: "I'm... sorry, Malik."
ph33r my rod: "Old habits are hard to break, huh... but that's what I'm here for. To try to take your pain away..."
Omega19x: "Just... just when I... I think I'm getting better... at not doing that... I... I do..."
Omega19x: "I... I want to be close to you... th..that makes me happy... you make me feel things I've never felt before... but... times like this... I... I just... can't... I can't explain it... I... I get so scared..."
ph33r my rod: "...I see. I wish I could help, somehow..."
Omega19x: "...you... you have helped..." *says after a long thoughtful pause*
Omega19x: "... w..when I... I first met you again, I... I was afraid of... of even being held... being touched... b..being k..issed."
ph33r my rod: "...and I helped with that? I mean... sometimes you still seem kinda scared of those things..." *looks down at the bed, idly tracing a pattern on his blanket*
Omega19x: "... s..sometimes I... I am... but... if... if it weren't for you, I'd still be alone..."
ph33r my rod: "...you'll never be alone again, Ryou."
ph33r my rod: "Not as long as I'm here, and your yami, and your friends..."
Omega19x: "... thanks..." *weak smile*
ph33r my rod: *smiles back, holding his arms out for Ryou*
Omega19x: *runs right into them, the safest, most warm place he's ever known*
Omega19x: "Oh, Malik... I'm sorry... I'm so so sorry..."
Omega19x: "I... I love you... and I always will..."
ph33r my rod: *holds him tightly, kissing his forehead* "I love you too... and I'm always here if you need anything, okay? If you want to vent, or just want to be held..."
Omega19x: *he looks up, and nods weakly* "... okay..."
Omega19x: "... pl..please h..hold me..."
Omega19x: *wraps his arms around Malik's neck*
ph33r my rod: *holds him, gently stroking his hair*
ph33r my rod: "You don't even have to ask..." *smiles*
Omega19x: *leans in, enjoying the embrace. This might as well be making love, as far as Ryou was concerned. It was wonderful*
ph33r my rod: *pulls Ryou into his lap and continues to hold him, wrapping his blanket around both of them*
Omega19x: "... c..can we still go on a.. a vacation?"
Omega19x: "I... I think it might be a good idea to... to get out of this house for a while."
ph33r my rod: *nods* "Of course... kinda take a break from everything."
Omega19x: "... maybe it'll help me take my mind off... well... you know..."
Omega19x: "everything."
ph33r my rod: "Yeah... we can do that."
ph33r my rod: "It'll be good to get away from the city for a while, anyway. To get some kind of peace."
Omega19x: "... I think I'd like that."
Omega19x: "... did you have a... a place in mind?"
ph33r my rod: *thinks* "...maybe that place you went to a while back. When you took that little trip by yourself to clear your head."
Omega19x: "the... the mountains?"
Omega19x: (that I can't remember which one)
ph33r my rod: (( I don't think the ones Ryou went to on his head-cleary trip have a name. *checks* ))

ph33r my rod: "...wait, no, nevermind. I got my locations mixed up... um... I dunno. There's bound to be somewhere nice we can go, though..."
Omega19x: "... right now... I'd settle for... for a vacation in my yami's apartment..."
Omega19x: "... don't know how well he'd like that, though."
ph33r my rod: *laughs a little* "No, I don't think he'd like having both of us there..."
Omega19x: "... where do... you want to go?"
Omega19x: "we can go to the mountains, if you want to."
ph33r my rod: "Is there a more populated location on the mountain than where we went to last time? Where... y'know, we could get some help if we get into trouble?"
Omega19x: "There's a... a resort on the other side, I think. It's supposed to be good for skiing..."
ph33r my rod: "...provided that there's still some snow on the mountain, that might be nice."
Omega19x: "... it stays cold for a longer time up in the higher parts of the mountains."
Omega19x: "There should still be some."
ph33r my rod: "Okay... if it's a resort, then there should be plenty of stuff to do... and plent of warm places."
Omega19x: "...th..that's right."
ph33r my rod: *holds him closer* "...so it won't be like last time."
Omega19x: "They talked about the resort on television about a month ago, with Valentines Day... Apparently they have nice... nice activities for... for couples..."
Omega19x: "It... it might be nice."
ph33r my rod: *smiles* "You wanna do that, then?"
Omega19x: "Okay."
Omega19x: *weak smile*
Omega19x: "Let's."
ph33r my rod: "Alright... I think this'll be good for us."
Omega19x: "... me too."
Omega19x: "...when can we go?"
ph33r my rod: "We should probably go as soon as we can... the sooner we do, the sooner we can relax."
Omega19x: *weak smile* "How about tomorrow?"
ph33r my rod: *smiles* "Sounds good..."
Omega19x: *smiles again*
Omega19x: "I'll be looking forward to it."
ph33r my rod: "Me too."
Omega19x: "... I guess I'd better... rest up then, for our little trip."
Omega19x: "Don't want to be tired tomorrow."
ph33r my rod: *nods* "I should too... will you stay with me tonight?"
Omega19x: "... o..okay..."
Omega19x: *he takes the towel from his hair, and hangs it up.* "I'll stay with you..."
ph33r my rod: *smiles, pulling the covers back* "Alright... thank you. I was afraid you might not want to, after last night..."
Omega19x: "... you... won't try... um... you know... r..right?"
ph33r my rod: "No, I won't... only if you really wanted me to..."
Omega19x: *weak nod*
Omega19x: "then... then there's no safer place in... in the entire world... and no place I'd rather be either..."
ph33r my rod: *snuggles down into the bed, leaving enough room for Ryou* "...I'm glad."
Omega19x: "... Malik... th..thank you for... for not listening to me yesterday..."
ph33r my rod: *blinks* "... I'm sorry I scared you. I don't ever want to scare you like that..."
Omega19x: "I... shouldn't have tried to... to pretend I was ready... w..when I wasn't..."
Omega19x: * a long sigh* "...can... can we... put that.. .b..behind us? And start over?"
ph33r my rod: *nods* "Of course..." *reassuring smile*
Omega19x: *smiles back* "...th..thank you..."
Omega19x: *and he snuggled down next to Malik, wrapping his arm around the other's waist*
ph33r my rod: *wraps his own arms around Ryou* "Let's get some rest so we can head out tomorrow..."
Omega19x: *weak sleepy nod*
ph33r my rod: *kisses the top of his head* "Sweet dreams..."
