Omega19x: "Did you... book rooms already?"
ph33r my rod: "Yep. We just have to go to the main lodge and check in so we can get keys...*

Omega19x: *Ryou reaches out for Malik's hand*
ph33r my rod: *takes Ryou's hand, and starts heading for the main lodge, which is easy to spot as it's bigger than the rest of the cabins*
Omega19x: *they walk inside*
Omega19x: "Hello, how may I help you."
Omega19x: "Do you have a reservation?"
ph33r my rod: "Yes, we do. It should be under Ishtar."
Omega19x: "Ah, let me just check on that." *the man at the counter types into his computer, and soon a reservation does pop up.* "Ah yes, two nights in a Studio Cabin. A perfect weekend getaway."
Omega19x: "If you wish, we can have our snowmobile take you and your bags to your cabin."
ph33r my rod: "That'd be great, thanks."
Omega19x: *a couple of busboy type people take their bags, and they follow them out back*
Omega19x: "Wow. This is really pretty out here. Not too much snow left, but still enough to enjoy."

Omega19x: *the cabin is a large one room suite, furnished with rustic and luxurious accomadations. There's a king sized bed, and a large stone fireplace.*

Omega19x: *even though it was chilly outside, the room was nice and warm. A fire had already been lit*
ph33r my rod: *carries the bags inside, setting them down on the bed* "The other cabin types were nice, but I liked this one the best."

Omega19x: "How... how long were... were you planning this?"
Omega19x: *suddenly comes across the monogrammed bathrobes with their names on them, a complimentary part of the 'romance package' the resort offers*
ph33r my rod: "A couple of weeks now... I thought you needed a break after the babies and all."
Omega19x: "... oh, Malik... You're sweeter than two whole batches of cream puffs!"
ph33r my rod: *grins* "And, I figured we'd try the vacation thing again since the last couple didn't really turn out too well... and I made sure to plan and make sure everything was going to be safe this time around."

ph33r my rod: *walks over to Ryou and hugs him* "You're welcome."
Omega19x: "And... this time, there won't be... avalanches... or.. or anything bad... will there."

Omega19x: *so they go up, and ask to get in the next guided tour group*

Omega19x: *Malik and Ryou get a snowmobile together, which as the guide explained, is sort of like driving a motorcycle, only on snow.*
Omega19x: "... here, you drive, Malik... I'll hold on tight."
ph33r my rod: "Alright..." *climbs on the snowmobile, is a little nervous about driving stuff again, though*
Omega19x: "... are you okay?"
Omega19x: *felt Malik tense up*
ph33r my rod: *nods* "Yeah, yeah, I'm fine..."
Omega19x: "... are you sure?"
Omega19x: "This way folks, start up your snowmobiles, we'll be heading out to the forest first, and the first trail."
ph33r my rod: *looks over his shoulder and smiles, starting up the snowmobile* "I'm sure..."
Omega19x: *Ryou holds on, and away they go*
Omega19x: "There are several trails, both to ride, and to hike, through these woods. The wildlife is plentiful, as it's a natural reserve. And hunting is forbidden."
Omega19x: *the guide points out some of the sights*
Omega19x: "If you'd like a snow-shoe excursion out here, there are guides leaving every few hours. Though if you do, we caution you to stay with your guides and not wander off."
ph33r my rod: *looks around at everything as he drives*
Omega19x: "Next to the woods we have several ski and snowboarding courses. They will probably be closed in a few weeks, as the weather starts to warm. So get in some downhill action while you still can."
Omega19x: *they keep going*
Omega19x: "off to the south, we have dogsled tracks, where you can try your hand at a dog sled team, or just sit back, snuggle up in our custom sleds while a team of dogs pulls you along."
Omega19x: "oh, that sounds fun!"

Omega19x: "But here's the part of the tour I'm sure you've all been waiting for. A snowmobile stunt track, where you can ride the hills and jumps."
Omega19x: *the guide waved his arm, inviting the group of snowmobilers to come in the fenced off area.*
Omega19x: *Ryou watched, as some of the others began riding over the rugged terrain, jumping from tiny hill to tiny hill.*
ph33r my rod: *tenses up a little again, debating on whether to do the jumps or not*

Omega19x: "I... I'm okay with it..."
Omega19x: "I think..."
ph33r my rod: *no sense in being scared, there's nothing to crash-land on this time except snow* "...okay. Hold on tight."

ph33r my rod: *revvs up the snowmobile, going over some of the jumps*

Omega19x: "For those who requested it, afternoon tea will be provided. And be sure to visit our main lodge for some indoor activites as well. Our full service spa is open to all our guests, as are lessons in a variety of winter sports."

But when you asked me to send you to the shadow realm, and Khons took over your body, and after all of that... I thought you'd died. And I think that's when those other feelings started developing... I didn't really know what they were at first, but I just knew that I didn't want you to die..."

ph33r my rod: "And I guess over time, they started growing stronger. I wanted to protect you, and whenever you were sad, I wanted to make you happy again... you were sad a lot back then. And throughout the whole ordeal with the gods, and even after, I had a lot of time to think about that... I decided that I wanted a lot more than just pointless sex. I felt kind of empty, and whenever I was around you, I didn't feel like that, and... yeah. I don't know when I figured out that I loved you, but when you had the shadow disease the first time, I knew I had to tell you. I wanted you to know, on the off-chance that you didn't survive."
