fai tiger: Honda gives Mahaado one last look before going back to the kitchen to find the phone. He picks it up and calls the Ishtar residence, hoping that Isis will be there.
ph33r my rod: Luckily, she was. "...hello?"
Omega19x: (to fill you in, Mahaado had basically passed out after the big battle that still isn't finished. He woke up, went home, started drinking. Two days later... Here we are.)
ph33r my rod: (( ...ouch. ))
fai tiger: "Um, hi. This is Honda, I'm over at Mahaado's... He, uh, passed out or something and I'm not sure what to do..."
fai tiger: "He was awake earlier, and now he's... not."
ph33r my rod: "...oh dear. Um... if it's from the drinking, you should just let him sleep it off..."
fai tiger: "Yeah, I let him sleep after I got here and got him away from the alcohol..."
ph33r my rod: "Oh... so he's passed out without drinking any more?"
fai tiger: "Yeah, he woke up and was hungover and stuff... and now he passed out again."
fai tiger: "...I hope he didn't hurt himself when he fell."
fai tiger: "Mana was here, but she left already."
Omega19x: (she fell into a plothole)
fai tiger: Honda sat down on the floor and tried not to cry from frustration at the situation.
ph33r my rod: "Um... I'm not sure what to do. Maybe I should come over there..."
fai tiger: "Yeah... that's a good idea."
Omega19x: Meanwhile, Mahaado is still unconscious.
ph33r my rod: "Alright. I'll be there as soon as I can. In the meantime, it'd be best to get him onto a bed or sofa, if you haven't done so already..."
fai tiger: "O-okay... I wasn't sure if I should move him or if that might make things worse..."
fai tiger: "I'll see you when you get here."
Omega19x: In the past few days, he'd drunk himself to the point of passing out at least twice, that people know of. Prior to his drunken rambling online, he had been unconscious from the battle.
ph33r my rod: "Okay..." Isis hung up the phone.
ph33r my rod: (( *totally doesn't know how to treat this* So if I end up suggesting something that shouldn't be done, feel free to let me know :D;; ))
Omega19x: Other than the alcohol, he's had little to eat or drink since the battle's beginning. It's evident that a wide variety of things have caught up with him, physically, mentally, emotionally.
fai tiger: Honda pulled himself up off the floor and when back to Mahaado.
fai tiger: He awkwardly tried his best to pick Mahaado up off the floor and half-carry, half-drag him towards the living room to the couch to wait for Isis to get there.
Omega19x: Still no response.
fai tiger: Once he had lay Mahaado on the couch as best he could, Honda moved on to pacing around the room.
ph33r my rod: Isis arrived shortly after hanging up the phone, knocking on the door.
Omega19x: It's probably open.
fai tiger: Honda quickly walked over and pulled open the unlocked door. "Hey."
ph33r my rod: Isis managed a small smile before entering. She glanced over to the couch where Mahaado lay, and then up at Honda. "I take it he's shown no signs of waking up yet...?"
fai tiger: Honda shook his head. "It might just be that he hasn't eaten... but Mana scared me by suggesting he might have internal injuries or something."
Omega19x: Upon glancing at Mahaado, it his skin is paler than normal and cool to the touch.

Omega19x: He does have a pulse, Honda checked. Though it is a weak one.
ph33r my rod: "...oh dear." Isis walked over to Mahaado and lightly placed the back of her hand against his face for a few moments. "We need to wake him up before anything else... he may be dehydrated."
Omega19x: *completely unresponsive*
fai tiger: "I... I tried, and Mana did too. He won't respond to anything though."
ph33r my rod: Isis frowned, looking rather concerned. "We may need to get him to a hospital, then... because I'm not sure what all we could do."
fai tiger: "Yeah, that's probably best... Mana ran off when I suggested it though. Hospitals scare her apparently."
fai tiger: Honda slumped on the floor. "I shoulda called the hospital when I called you..."
ph33r my rod: "You're scared for your friend, it's understandable... but I think that may be our best option now."
fai tiger: "Okay... I'll call them while you stay with him, since I was here when it happened."
Omega19x: He's still unconscious, as to be expected.
ph33r my rod: Isis nodded and crouched down next to the couch. It was apparent that she was pretty worried as well.
Omega19x: *magical hospitallapse?*
ph33r my rod: *works for me*
fai tiger: *magical hospitallapse then*
Omega19x: And not soon after, he's admitted, and given an IV. Completely dehydrated, as to be expected (since alcohol only makes those matters worse, as it's a diuretic). His blood alcohol level was still high.
fai tiger: Honda paced around the hospital waiting room, muttering angrily that the staff refused to tell him anything because he couldn't even pretend to be a relative.
Omega19x: He was still easily considered drunk.
ph33r my rod: Isis simply sat in one of the chairs, waiting as patiently as she could.
Omega19x: "Mr. Honda and Ms. Ishtar?"
Omega19x: *the nurse notices Isis and remembers her from a few days ago when she came up to visit her brother.*
fai tiger: Honda turned quickly, almost losing his balance.
ph33r my rod: Isis looked up. "Yes...?"
Omega19x: "We've stabalized your friend."
ph33r my rod: "...oh, good." She breathed a sigh of relief, standing up.
fai tiger: "That's... that's good," Honda replied quietly, leaning against the wall. "How long before you let people see him?"
Omega19x: "He's still unconscious for the time being, but we've put him on intravenious fluids. He should come around soon."
fai tiger: "Right, that's good, I guess..." Honda looked away, trying not to think too hard about how stupid he was for not taking Mahaado to the hospital right away.
Omega19x: "Though, his blood alcohol level is .4. What on earth happened?"
Omega19x: "Both of you seem completely sober. So there doesn't appear to have been a party."
ph33r my rod: Isis looked at Honda briefly, then shook her head. "No, not that I know of..."
fai tiger: Honda snorted, having half expected the nurse to think he was drunk too. "No, no party."
Omega19x: "We normally don't see someone THAT dehydrated and that drunk. What was going on?"
fai tiger: "He was at home drinking. I hadn't seen him in awhile, so I stopped by and found him passed out in his living room. I got him to his bed and waited for him to wake up..."
Omega19x: "Did he wake up? You should have called emergency right away."
fai tiger: "I... I didn't think of it when he first woke up..."
fai tiger: "Most of the drunk people I've ever come across are fine after they sleep it off and have a cold shower and eat and stuff..."
ph33r my rod: Isis nervously broke in, biting her lip. "He's alright now though, isn't he? So..."
Omega19x: "Well, it's a good thing you did call. Though if this happened earlier in the day, I hate to think how intoxicated he must have been." she added. "Sir. with a blood alcohol level of .4, a good many people die."
fai tiger: Honda slid down to the ground. "I didn't know he was that drunk..." he whispered, closing his eyes.
Omega19x: "That's exactly what they always say."
fai tiger: "It's not like I was there when he was drinking."
ph33r my rod: "...oh dear." Isis laid a hand on Honda's shoulder in an attempt to comfort him somewhat, but she still looked pretty worried herself.
Omega19x: "Though, usually I hear it from fraternity brothers. And he didn't strike me as a fraternity brother."
fai tiger: Honda shook his head.
Omega19x: "And M'am, you certainly are not a sorority sister."
Omega19x: "But he should wake up soon. You can go in and see him if you like. Room 2154."
Omega19x: "but word of advice. I'd keep an eye on him later. After he's released. No one drinks like that unless they're drinking to get that drunk."
Omega19x: *and the nurse walks off*
fai tiger: Honda waved off Isis's hand on his shoulder. "You go see him. 'M a bad friend," he muttered. "All I could do right apparently is hide his alcohol while he was sleeping."
ph33r my rod: "Honda..." Isis frowned, looking down at him. "They said they've got him stabilized now, so hopefully there's not much to worry about... you should come too."
fai tiger: Honda looked up hesitantly. "...Okay. I'm suprised they're willing to let me in." He pulled himself up off the floor.
Omega19x: Mahaado is lying in the hospital bed. He's slowly coming to, though everything is fuzzy.
Omega19x: At least the massive hangover that will likely follow this one will be aided by modern drugs.
fai tiger: Honda made his way down the hall to Mahaado's hospital room and walked in cautiously.
ph33r my rod: Isis followed after him.
Omega19x: *blink blink*
fai tiger: "...You awake?" Honda whispered.
Omega19x: *groan* "yes... friend Honda." He spoke slowly and softly.
ph33r my rod: "...Mahaado?" Isis slowly approached the bed, relieved to see that he was coming around.
Omega19x: "priestess. I regret for you to see me. Like this."
fai tiger: Honda hung back near the doorway. "'M sorry. I didn't do the right things to help you," he muttered. He glanced around, looking anywhere but at Mahaado.
Omega19x: "Friend Honda. thr.there is no right thing.Anymore."
Omega19x: "No. Not anymore."
ph33r my rod: Isis glanced over at Honda, looking confused. "Do you know what he's talking about...?"
fai tiger: Honda shook his head. "No, there is a right thing and I didn't do it. I should have called emergency right away and I didn't."
fai tiger: "I didn't help, I didn't do anything to help..."
Omega19x: "nother bottle of dte wine woulda done it. And I'd never see it again." He sighed weakly. "Ra, why couldn't it have been me? Osiris, why?"
fai tiger: Honda shook his head more frantically. "Being dead wouldn't have helped you, wouldn't have helped anyone. People need you."
Omega19x: "failed friend. I failed a friend." He tried to speak clearly. He really did try.
ph33r my rod: Isis took a seat in a chair next to the bed, trying to make some sense out of the... 'discussion'. She was quite confused.
Omega19x: "failed as a sorcerer..."
fai tiger: "That's no reason to abandon everyone though. People need you."
Omega19x: "we were powerless against d.rkness." he whispered. "pwerless."
fai tiger: "But you fought anyways. Why is it suddenly an excuse to quit now?"
Omega19x: "shoulda used sennen spellbook. maybe it could have... maybe..."
Omega19x: "too late now."
Omega19x: "its done."
fai tiger: "So you have to move on with life."
Omega19x: "how come you're so clam? he your friend. And priestess, your brother. I... Am I the only one?"
ph33r my rod: "...Rishid?" Isis blinked, looking up at Mahaado. "Did something happen to him...?"
Omega19x: "said I'd protect him. But in the end. I couldn't."
Omega19x: "Idn't know what happened... just.. He's gone."
fai tiger: Honda shook his head again. "no no no, I don't want to hear it."
fai tiger: (...since I can't let him ask, due to unfinished-ness)
Omega19x: (grr... I know.)

Omega19x: (he passed out before everything supposedly ends. And all I am to know right now is that he's gone.)
Omega19x: (that Mahaado ran out of magical energy. his shield failed, and he fell unconscious during the battle)

ph33r my rod: Isis looked down at her lap, wondering what Mahaado could have meant by 'gone'. If it meant what she thought it did, then Rishid was...
Omega19x: "I'm sorry, friend. For hurting you. And priestess, I am sorry. Mana... she was here. I thought..."
Omega19x: "I'm no master sorcerer. Not anymore."
fai tiger: "No apologizing if you tried." Honda's head-shaking slowed. "I should apologize, I didn't help."
Omega19x: "Magic. doesn't always make things betr agan."

Omega19x: Mahaado seems quite exhausted, given everything that's happened in the past week.
Omega19x: Everything that eventually landed him right here.
fai tiger: "...Why won't people let me try to help?" Honda whispered, barely propped against the wall. "Do you worry that I'll screw things up even worse?"
Omega19x: "what?"
fai tiger: "No one ever wants my help... Rishid didn't, you didn't... I just mess everything up."
fai tiger: "I... I should go away, then people wouldn't have me around to screw things up."
Omega19x: "you've done nothing wrong. I... came asking for help. I trained Mana because of you."
Omega19x: "you told me to find help for the battle. She ws redy."
Omega19x: "She practiced hard."
Omega19x: "but the battle went on without her."
fai tiger: Honda gripped the doorframe. "And I did nothing, absolutely nothing. See, I can't help anyone. She at least could have, if she'd been there."
Omega19x: "They depend on me for protection. My spells failed." he watched as Honda stood at the door. "plse dnt go."
fai tiger: "But at least you tried. I didn't. Why do you want me around if I can't do anything right?"
fai tiger: "Mana helped you, Isis helped you, but I couldn't."
Omega19x: "mayve just so... someon'll catch me... before I fall completly into drkness."
Omega19x: And as weak as he was, he passed out again.
fai tiger: Honda just stared, trying to comprehend what Mahaado was saying.
ph33r my rod: Isis finally looked up again, worried look still on her face. "... Everyone needs their friends to help them pull through. Regardless of if they help physically or not, they still help just by being there in spirit..."
Omega19x: (and it's getting late. I'm beat. You guys can keep playing if you like, but I'm gonna head off to bed.)

fai tiger: Honda nodded and loosen his grip on the doorframe. "...Okay. I'll stay with him for now, so you can watch over everyone else who needs you. Like Malik and all them."
ph33r my rod: "Alright..." Isis nodded weakly, still trying to take in all of their conversation. "I might as well stay up here, so I can check on my brother again, as well."
ph33r my rod: (( I think I'ma head off to bed soon, too. X| *tired* ))
fai tiger: "That's a good idea." Honda clumsily sat down on the floor. "I guess we should sleep too, since things are relatively okay for now."
ph33r my rod: Isis shifted around in her seat in an attempt to get somewhat comfortable. "Mmhmm... for now, yes. Hopefully they'll stay that way..."
fai tiger: Honda nodded and closed his eyes. "Don't let yourself worry too much, it's bad for your dreams," he muttered, nodding off while sitting up.
ph33r my rod: "...I've heard that one before," Isis muttered, closing her eyes. She eventually dropped off to sleep.
