Omega19x: "... we'll still have time to do the riddle... but... but thank you for coming with me to England... I... I haven't been back here in... in so very long..."
ph33r my rod: *smiles* "No problem. You came with me to see my home, so I should see yours... and I want to, anyway."
Omega19x: "... hopefully this will... turn out better than... when we went to see yours..."
ph33r my rod: "It should. It doesn't seem to traumatize you too much when you think about yours."
Omega19x: "... no. It... it was nice..."
Omega19x: *get off the train, and follows directions on a map until they eventually arrive at their destination*
Omega19x: *points* "That's it!"

Omega19x: *and peers inside. It does appear to be empty*
Omega19x: *tries the knob, and for the sake of plot purposes, it's open*
Omega19x: "... Come on, Malik." *holds his hand out*

Omega19x: *and through a slim entrance hall. There's stairs to the upper floor.* "... All the bedrooms are up there... down here... there was the sitting room, the kitchen... a rear lobby and a bathroom."
Omega19x: *opens the door to what was the sitting room*

Omega19x: *the main focus of the room is a stone fireplace, which Ryou remembers.*
Omega19x: "... Mom used to... to sit in here and read a lot."
Omega19x: *windows show both the front and rear of the house, where there's plenty of garden area*
Omega19x: *looks in the kitchen* "... oh... this... It doesn't look too different from what I remember! Oh... Mom and I used to make cream puffs! She made them... at least once a week. I... I was too little to really help, but she let me... you know... try to help."
ph33r my rod: *smiles, imagining a little Ryou trying to help make puffs~*
Omega19x: "When I... I was five... Mom used to let me spoon the cream for the puffs... and hand her the spoons. We'd exchange spoons. Amane always thought it was funny."

ph33r my rod: *laughs a little* "Cute."
Omega19x: *looks around a bit more* "... the bathroom looks different... and so does the rear lobby... I... I wonder how my room looks!"

Omega19x: *goes up the stairs eagerly*

Omega19x: *radiator type doors lead to the three different bedrooms.* "That one was my parents..."
Omega19x: *points to a room with an open door. Windows show to the front and the rear of the house. And there's also a cast iron fireplace*
Omega19x: "Dad used to display a lot of... of his archeological things there... things he bought at the Egyptian marketplace... I used to play with them so much, it's probably why he bought me something like the ring..."
Omega19x: *points to the next room* "that one was Amane's... She got this one because it had more of a closet, and she was older..."
Omega19x: *points to the one at the end* "that one was the small room. And it was mine." *goes inside*

Omega19x: *there are double glazed windows to the rear, overlooking the garden. The room is pretty simple now, but Ryou just pictures it looking the way it did when he was four and five*
Omega19x: *sits down in the middle of the room* "... this was where my bed was..."
ph33r my rod: *sits next to him* "...do you miss it a lot?"
Omega19x: *looks down at the floor* "... th..the house... n...no... I... I moved when I... I was five..."
Omega19x: *sniffles and wipes his eyes* "... God... I... I can almost hear their voices in here... Amane in her room playing with... with her dolls... Mom cooking cream puffs... Dad... Dad in the lobby which he used as a study... writing a big paper for... for some journal or another... I... Malik... I miss them... I... I miss them so much..."
ph33r my rod: "..." *wraps his arms around Ryou, holding him close*
Omega19x: *cries a little, just leaning into Malik. The emotion came up all of a sudden*
ph33r my rod: *gently strokes his hair*
Omega19x: *sniffle* "... sorry..."
ph33r my rod: "It's okay..." *kisses his forehead* "It's kinda like what I was feeling back at my old home, so... it's understandable."
Omega19x: *weak smile* "... it's... difficult... I see that."
Omega19x: "... to go back and visit where you grew up..."
ph33r my rod: *nods, wiping the tears from Ryou's face* "Especially when you've gone through the things we have..."
Omega19x: *nod* "... but... it's nice to see that the house is still here... and that someone else might... might live here and be happy..."
ph33r my rod: *smiles* "Yeah... you might have some good memories here, but you can also make good ones elsewhere."
Omega19x: "... of course... like... at home... with you."
Omega19x: *stands up after a while* "... there's... not that much more to see here..."
ph33r my rod: *stands too, taking his hand again*

Omega19x: "... it... it was a nice home... until... Dad decided to go back to Japan... We... we had a nice home there too..."
ph33r my rod: "And you've got a nice home now, too... I'm glad you had more than I did."
Omega19x: "but nothing is... is as wonderful as the... the home we have now... You and me... together."
ph33r my rod: *smiles*
Omega19x: *smiles back, and kisses him gently*
Omega19x: "... thank you for coming with me... Mokuba... he said my old house probably wouldn't even be here..."
ph33r my rod: *gives him a big hug* "Mokuba likes talking out of his ear."
Omega19x: *is hugged* ".. I... I know... But... I was worried... He could have been right... They could have torn the house down..."
Omega19x: "anything could have happened to it..."
ph33r my rod: *nods* "Well... obviously, it's perfectly fine."
Omega19x: "It is..."
Omega19x: *looks around* "...we... probably should go... before we get into some kind of trouble for being here..."
ph33r my rod: *nods* "Yeah... we should start working on the riddle, anyway."
Omega19x: "... you're right. It's a long trainride back into Scotland... so... we should get some info here... before we head back. We can read about it on the train."
ph33r my rod: "Mmhmm. ... I can't even pronounce that... place they mentioned, though." *headscratch*
Omega19x: "... I... I know I've heard it before..."
Omega19x: "the name sounds... Gaelic."

Omega19x: *and so they go looking up information on England and Scotland at a local visitors bureau*
Omega19x: (such wonderful palces where Ryou can speak the language fluently)

Omega19x: "... okay... they said that it's an island off the western coast of Scotland... One of the Holy Islands. There's a whole group of them... making a chain about three miles long."
ph33r my rod: "... And we have to kayak there, apparently."
Omega19x: "... I guess so..."
Omega19x: "... And we're supposed to find a grave there?"
ph33r my rod: "Joy. More physical activity." *sounds ever-so-enthused* "Yeah... something about the mother of a saint, or something."
Omega19x: "Well, the brochures they gave me talk about a chapel... and there's probably a graveyard there too..." *reads*
Omega19x: "it suggests to look for a stone slab with a rudely incised Greek cross... Apparently it's the solitary grave of Aethne, the daughter of Dimma, and mother of St Columba. There's a creek named after her too."
ph33r my rod: "Huh, okay..."
Omega19x: "... that must be what we're looking for."
ph33r my rod: "Sounds about right. So we can head out there tomorrow..."
Omega19x: *nodnod* "... I've... never kayaked before... have you?"
ph33r my rod: "Nope."
Omega19x: "... hopefully it's... not too hard..."
ph33r my rod: "If all else fails, I guess we could get a guide to help us or something."
Omega19x: "... right."
Omega19x: "... are you okay? You... look pretty tired..."
Omega19x: "... as if going to new countries every few days doesn't wear you down... right?" *weak shrug*
ph33r my rod: "Eh... a little jet-lagged, yeah."
Omega19x: *wraps his arm around Malik* "... don't worry... I'm here if... if you need a nice pillow on the train."
Omega19x: *cute smile*
ph33r my rod: "Nnn, thanks~" *nuzzles the side of his head*

Omega19x: "... let's get back to the train station."
Omega19x: "... and we can sit down, and you can have as much pillow as you want."

Omega19x: "... i'll try to make it extra fluffy."

Omega19x: *and they reach the train station* "...remember, we just have to find the stone with the greek cross. And we'll have our photo."
Omega19x: "... That should be pretty easy with these brochures, and... and the hard part, I guess... would be kayaking out there."
ph33r my rod: "Yeah... not really looking forward to that, but oh well."
Omega19x: "... any reason?"
ph33r my rod: "Well, it would've been a lot easier if we'd had this country earlier. But with all of the jet lag and stuff catching up... yeah, it's gonna be hard."
Omega19x: "... yeah..."
Omega19x: "... for once, though... I'm... actually not feeling run down."
ph33r my rod: "...huh. Well, that's good." *smiles*
Omega19x: "... maybe it's the medicine... But... I... I feel... pretty good... considering everything."
ph33r my rod: "...that's nice to hear, Ryou. It really is."
Omega19x: "... really?"
ph33r my rod: *nodnod*
Omega19x: "... maybe it's all this time with you that has me feeling so good."
Omega19x: *hugs him as they walk*
ph33r my rod: *grins* "It's nice, isn't it? It's like an extra-long date or something."
Omega19x: "... a very very long date."
Omega19x: "... and that's just fine with me."

Omega19x: *get to the train station, and board a train back up north*
ph33r my rod: "Ah... rest time good."
Omega19x: *nod nod* "... here... I'm a ready pillow." *smiles*
ph33r my rod: *leans into Ryou, resting his head on his shoulder* "I love my pillow."
Omega19x: *leans his head on Malik's head* "... I love mine more."
