ph33r my rod: *headshake* "No way. The one on Cranium was nice, but... no. We haven't checked out the Yahtzee one, so..."
Omega19x: "okay... which way do I turn at Monopoly Blvd?"
ph33r my rod: "Um... left, I think."
Omega19x: *turn*

Omega19x: "oh, here it is." *there's a small subdivision, with quaint little houses*
Omega19x: *it's relatively close to the Wall-to-Wall Mart, Skip-Bo General, and various other shops*
ph33r my rod: "These houses look kinda cool..." *grins*
Omega19x: "They're nice and small... so they're probably not too bad..." *soon spots the one that is having an Open House*
Omega19x: *stop*
Omega19x: "... as long as it's an open house, we should go look inside, right?"

Omega19x: "Hi! My name is Cynthia. Pleased to meet you. Are you potential homeowners? Or are you just in the neighborhood to browse?"
Omega19x: *and are greeted by a friendly and perky agent*
ph33r my rod: "Uh... yeah, we're looking for a place." *rubs back of neck*
Omega19x: "Then let me show you around."
Omega19x: *walks through the living room, which is right off the front door*
Omega19x: "We have a lovely living room/den. It's very quaint. And perfect for the small couple who is just getting started."
Omega19x: "oooh..."

Omega19x: "It goes straight into the kitchen, which has a comfy breakfast nook. The kitchen has lots of counter-space, as well as stove, oven, all the important amenities already included."
ph33r my rod: *looks at Ryou* "This is kinda nice, huh?"
Omega19x: "it is."
Omega19x: "There is a small laundry room off the kitchen, and door to a small yard. The last owners built a 'privacy fence' in place of the metal ones like you may have seen next door."
Omega19x: "If you'll follow me this way, into the hall, you'll see the master bedroom."
Omega19x: *follows*

Omega19x: *the master bedroom looks about as big as Maliks' bedroom was.*
Omega19x: "... this cozy space is perfect for a young couple. The master bath has one sink, one lovely bathtub with shower attachments. Plubming has recently been replaced, so it is brand new as well."
Omega19x: "And across the hall, we have a second bedroom, perfect for a small study or a guest room."
ph33r my rod: *nudges Ryou* "What do you think? I kinda like it..."
Omega19x: "I like it!" *smiles back*
ph33r my rod: *grins*
Omega19x: "How is... um... the cost of the.. the house?"
Omega19x: "It's rent to own. And right now, the present landlord is setting a rate of (insert $800 in yen) a month."
Omega19x: "That's not... too bad..."
ph33r my rod: *ponder* "No, not really..."
Omega19x: "A lot more... affordable than... than what we've seen so far..."
Omega19x: "... we... we should think this over... a little more... But I like it."
ph33r my rod: *nodnod*
Omega19x: *looks at the time* "oh. I promised Ghost and Ryuuzaki I.. I'd go watch a movie with them... We should get going..."

Omega19x: "... I... I don't want to be... be rude... Ghost is... is new in town... I don't think he has many friends..."
Omega19x: "you... you know how hard it is to... to make friends... when you're new..."
ph33r my rod: "Yeah... it's kinda hard."
Omega19x: "... maybe Isis will help us... well.. .get started a little..."

ph33r my rod: *nod* "Yeah, she'll probably help us out for a while. But gah, I need to get a job."
Omega19x: "I've... been trying to get one..."
Omega19x: *by now, they've thanked the agent, and are on their way back out to the car*

Omega19x: "... but... no one wants to hire me..."
ph33r my rod: *gently pats his shoulder* "I'll try checking out a few places... but we'll be okay, Ryou."
Omega19x: *opens the door sweetly for Malik*

Omega19x: "...Be sure to tell Isis about the house we found... Maybe she should come with us next time."

Omega19x: "This will be wonderful..."

ph33r my rod: "Uh huh. And she's having to work to support us, so... this'll help her out, too."

Omega19x: "Bloodwork revealed a monoamine-related substance, suggesting that drugs were involved."

Omega19x: "Most likely LSD, based on behavior, and my assumption of what was going on at the scene of the accident."
ph33r my rod: "...what... the hell."
Omega19x: "MRI revealed spontaneous activity of the locus coeruleus neurons, especially involving serotonergic functioning."
Omega19x: "Signs indicative of psychadelic drug use."
ph33r my rod: *totally has no idea what he's talking about, but Ryou + drugs = DOES NOT COMPUTE*
Omega19x: "It is possible he was given the substance without his knowledge."
Omega19x: "Slipped into a beverage, perhaps."
ph33r my rod: "Yeah, that sounds more likely. He wouldn't voluntarily take them even if he was offered a million yen."
Omega19x: "Seeing Ryou Bakura as much as I do, that much is clear."
Omega19x: "The effects will slowly wear off, as he gets some sleep. But I'd like to keep him here for observation for a few days based on the head injury alone."

Omega19x: "You're welcome to visit him. He's not quite coherent, but that is more from the 'trip' than the injury."
ph33r my rod: *nods*
Omega19x: *Ryou is in a hospital room (natch). His wrists are bound lightly to the side, since he is quite out of it. They want to make sure the IV is in place. He's been given a benzodiazepine to reduce the effects of the drug*
Omega19x: *it should start to work over the next hour or so*
Omega19x: *dazed*
