RubyMoon199: "Not really... I don't think I can disappear like him, but that'd be cool!" *attempts to climb a rain gutter up to the roof, swatting at bugs*

RubyMoon199: *hops up onto the roof* "Jafar? Ohhh, I get it! Nicknames! That's fun~"

ph33r my rod: *relieved to see someone else, but worried that they'll get hurt*
RubyMoon199: *blinks at Isis* "You're...uhm..." *scratches head* "Who're you?"
ph33r my rod: "...Isis. You're... Amane, right? Your brother lived with me for a while." *swats bugs*
RubyMoon199: "That's me!" *smiles, before turning to Mahaado/Shadow* "You must be the Shadow guy everyone's talking about. I was looking for you!"
Omega19x: "heh. You might say that."
RubyMoon199: *walks over to him, swatting at a bug on her arm* "You don't look floaty to me..."
Omega19x: *Mahaado is clearly fatigued from the enormous amount of magical energy he's been conducting all day. And the weaker he gets, the less able he is to resist Shadow's hold*
Omega19x: "Shadow is inside me."
Omega19x: "Wrong, Jafar. Shadow is you. And you are me."
RubyMoon199: "I thought Shadow was that short kid with the long hair." *scratches her head* "So, are you a dead guy like me?"
Omega19x: "I tried to seal the beast away. I made a critical error."
Omega19x: "It wasn't your first, Jafar. Don't act all surprised."
ph33r my rod: "...and it took over Mahaado instead." *wilt*
RubyMoon199: *tilts her head* "So, Shadow, you're a ghost?"
Omega19x: "They don't make ghosts where I come from."
Omega19x: "Shadow creature. A terrible shadow creature."
Omega19x: *Mahaado's face coils in pain*
RubyMoon199: "Ohhh~ I know about those, I think." *twirls a lock of hair* "So, why're you doing this?"
Omega19x: "Fun."
Omega19x: "Aren't you having any?"
Omega19x: *bugs swirl around, biting endlessly*
Omega19x: "Priestess, please... The insects are..."
ph33r my rod: "...fun. You're doing this for fun? Taking over an innocent person's body and using their power to do your bidding is your idea of fun?!"
RubyMoon199: *smiles, still trying to wave away the bugs* "Oh, I thought the frogs were lots of fun!"
Omega19x: "heh. I might as well be a god in you, Jafar."
RubyMoon199: "There must be another reason you're doing this, though~"
Omega19x: "You need one?"
RubyMoon199: "Well, sure! I mean, this is all fun and good, but if you really wanted to kill everyone, you'da just done it already!"
Omega19x: "There's no fun in that."
ph33r my rod: "You enjoy seeing people suffer... is that it?"
Omega19x: "I like games. Don't you?"
ph33r my rod: "Not this kind of game."
RubyMoon199: "I like Monopoly!"
Omega19x: *Mahaado cannot stand to see the priestess being bitten. It pains him greatly, which makes Shadow laugh*
Omega19x: "Priestess, please. Go! Go now."

Omega19x: "Oh yes it is."
RubyMoon199: *moves a little closer to Shadow, trying her bestto ignore the bugs* "So, Shadow~ What're you gonna do once this is over?"
Omega19x: "Play some more."
Omega19x: "There are no limits. None whatsoever. Wouldn't you agree, Jafar?"
Omega19x: "No limits..."
Omega19x: "Now you get the idea."
RubyMoon199: *blinks* "Not really. 'Cause once everyone's dead, then what'll you do?"
Omega19x: "Not everyone will die. Not all at once."
RubyMoon199: "But, eventually?"
Omega19x: "Some won't even be cursed. Weren't you paying attention?"
Omega19x: "It's because of the spell. It only works..."
Omega19x: "SILENCE!"
ph33r my rod: *steps toward them again* "Mahaado! It only works when? Or how...?"
Omega19x: *Mahaado's eyes flash a very bright green, and his face tightens. There is clearly a war going on inside his mind*
RubyMoon199: *sidles over to Isis* *murmurs* "Mahaado's the one in there, yeah...?"
ph33r my rod: *nods* "He's in there, somewhere..."
Omega19x: *there's only laughter from Shadow now*
RubyMoon199: "Maybe I can get inside... Other-Amane showed me, once..."
Omega19x: *there's a forcefield surrounding him. It cannot be penetrated.*
RubyMoon199: *is oblivious*
ph33r my rod: *steps closer again, getting shocked(?) by the forcefield* *eep!* "...fight it, Mahaado. You can do this!"
Omega19x: *it's turquoise. kthnx*
ph33r my rod: *oh yeah, duhr*
Omega19x: "If you keep sticking your hand where it doesn't belong, one of these days, it's gonna get chopped off."
Omega19x: *Mahaado looks so tired.*
RubyMoon199: "That's not very nice." *huffs a bit* "You know, I don't believe you're that great and powerful."
ph33r my rod: *sinks down to the ground again, having given up on swatting at the bugs*
Omega19x: *suddenly he turns his head, and raises one hand. A powerful energy beam shoots out, and hits Amane in the chest, sending her flying backwards into the air*
Omega19x: *the attack came completely without warning*
RubyMoon199: *disengages from the body in surprise, so the body flies away, but her ghostly self remains there* "...well, that wasn't nice at all!"
Omega19x: *the body disintegrates*
RubyMoon199: *sighhhh* "I liked that body a lot, too..."
Omega19x: "I'd be careful there, Alice. You're late. You're late, for a very important date."
RubyMoon199: "That's the rabbit! Get your Disney right!" *flails*

RubyMoon199: *turns to Isis* "Go, quickly! He can actually kill you and you probably want to KEEP your body!"
ph33r my rod: "....." *stands up, shaking, and starts to back away*
Omega19x: "Run. Please... Please, priestess. Please."
RubyMoon199: *turns back to Shadow, frowning* "Hey, Mahaado-man! Can you get rid of that tealy-shiny thing around you?"
Omega19x: *ignores Amane*
Omega19x: *fires a warning blast across Isis' path*
RubyMoon199: *flails!*
ph33r my rod: *meep!* "..." *nods* "...don't give up, Mahaado." *turns and starts heading back to the roof door thing*

Omega19x: *he's trying to keep Shadow from firing again. And it's taking a lot of strength*
Omega19x: *thankfully for Isis, the next blast does indeed miss. But not by much*
Omega19x: "Damn you Jafar!"

Omega19x: "You think your feelings for her make you a better sorcerer? I'll kill her myself! Right after my intended target! She will be second! And you will do it for me!"
RubyMoon199: "Hey!" *attempts to float at his shield, trying to draw his attention* "Cut that out!"
ph33r my rod: *hops into the door thing, but peeks out a little to see*
Omega19x: *Mahaado/Shadow just ignores Amane.*
Omega19x: *clouds of bugs fly everywhere*
Omega19x: *there is mass chaos in Domino City tonight.*

RubyMoon199: "Mahaado-man, if you want to save the Isis-lady, let me help!" *tries to get through the field*
Omega19x: *the field's energy pushes her back instantly. It is completely inpeneterable.*
Omega19x: "I can't."
Omega19x: "That's right, Jafar. This spell cannot be broken!"
RubyMoon199: "You can, you're just being...lazy! Or something! Giving in to the dark side!" *continues pushing against it, regardless*
Omega19x: *it shocks her back*
Omega19x: "The spell can't be broken."
RubyMoon199: "Says you!"
Omega19x: "the spell cannot be broken."
RubyMoon199: *huffs and flails* "I don't see what that Isis-lady sees in you." *floats*
Omega19x: "I wish the spell could be broken."
ph33r my rod: *steps out of the stairthing again* "...it's no use, Amane. We have to guess who he has in mind when he casts these curses for him to stop." *wilts*
Omega19x: "You know what happens then, Jafar, if you try to break the spell. It will not only kill you, but everyone else too."
Omega19x: "It will devour your soul alive. And this body will be MINE!"
Omega19x: "You have to stop him."
RubyMoon199: "Well, that's just lame." *rolls around in the air, thinking* "Hey, Shadow-man! Is it the Mahaado-man? You're trying to get rid of him so you've got his body, like you said?"
Omega19x: "No."
RubyMoon199: "Fudge." *floats over to him* "This is fun?"
Omega19x: (and I should really say that all guesses go to the journal posts, so everyone can see them)
Omega19x: "Absolutely."
Omega19x: "I am trying to hold on. Please. Tell the good priestess, I am sorry for my failures."
RubyMoon199: *turns back to Isis* "He's, uhm, sorry for all his failures?"
Omega19x: *and Shadow just laughs*
ph33r my rod: "..." *looks down at the floor* *wibble*
Omega19x: "And what wonderful failures they are too."
RubyMoon199: "I've never heard of a wonderful failure..." *turns back to Shadow* "Hey, can I ask - were you ever a person?"
Omega19x: "I am Shadow."
RubyMoon199: "...was your mom a hippie or something?"
Omega19x: *ignores the insignificant ghost girl*
RubyMoon199: *huffs and flails* "Hey!"
ph33r my rod: *heads back into the doorstairwellwhateverit'scalled thing, sitting down on a step* "...it's no use. He's not going to budge..."
Omega19x: *not that he could, of course. Mahaado's barely holding on in his own mind.*
Omega19x: *should he fully give in to Shadow, there would be mass destruction, moreso than what is already being done.*
RubyMoon199: *floats over to Isis, sighing* "Man, this is depressing... I thought he'd have more of a reason than just fun." *twirls in the air* "Who's the Mahaado-man, anyway?"
Omega19x: "The most powerful sorcerer that ever lived. Isn't that right?" Shadow laughs.
ph33r my rod: "He's a powerful sorceror... if you hadn't guessed already." *sigh* "He was in the Pharaoh's court."
RubyMoon199: "Pharaoh...?" *drifts* "So he's sort of a ghost, too?"
ph33r my rod: "...in a way, yes. All of the priests have been coming back to this time."
RubyMoon199: "...so why doesn't he just destroy his body and the Shadow-guy and go floaty?"
Omega19x: "I would not survive. And Shadow is stopping me from doing that."
Omega19x: "You make it sound like a bad thing."
RubyMoon199: "How very Jekyll and Hyde... Hm, maybe I'll start calling him that."
Omega19x: "Please, stop him."
ph33r my rod: "...we'll stop him, Mahaado. Somehow."
RubyMoon199: "I'm tryyyyying~" *flails and floats* "Give us a clue!"
Omega19x: *his face grimaces as Mahaado is clearly pulled further back inside his own mind. They won't be getting anything else out of him for tonight. He's used most his energy trying to help them. But Shadow keeps stopping him*
RubyMoon199: *si~gh* "Isis-lady, we probably shouldn't stay..."
ph33r my rod: *nods* "...right. We'll have to try again tomorrow..." *looks back at him*
RubyMoon199: *reaches out, as if to tug Isis's arm, even though she can't* "He'll be fine, I'm sure~"
ph33r my rod: "Right... everyone else is trying, I'm sure." *stares back at him for a moment* "Be strong. We'll figure this out."
Omega19x: *he makes no movement. Perhaps Mahaado is, for the moment, at least, stopping Shadow from destroying the priestess.*
ph33r my rod: *quickly heads down the stairthings*
RubyMoon199: *floats after her, glancing back at Shadow-Mahaado* *pulls a face at him before leaving*
