Omega19x: And it probably wasn't helping that the terrain around Malik was getting quite cold and white.

Omega19x: Mahaado returned to where the gods had sent him. "How do we leave this realm? I want to see Isis to safety, and then return to aid my friends. They may need assistance joining souls with bodies."
FluffySongbird: "um...Anzu-chan...?"
Omega19x: There was a cave up ahead.
Ankhutenshi: The magician looked up. "What do you want?"
silverbluedreams: The Morrigan pointed south. "Continue riding in that direction. You will eventually cross realms and come upon your companions."
FluffySongbird: "I want Anzu to come home..."
Omega19x: He bowed to the goddess. "Once I cross, may I return?"
ph33r my rod: Isis, being too tired to do anything else, simply curled up and leaned against Mahaado, closing her eyes again.
Ankhutenshi: The spirit frowned. "She doesn't want to go."

Omega19x: He continued riding, to take Isis home.

Omega19x: There was a white wizard, curled up, shivering in the cave. He was alone and frightened.

Ankhutenshi: The magician shook her head. "Ever since I came to Domino, it's been just me. Why is this happening to me? Why didn't that guy Finn ignore me... just like all you have ignored me? Why did I get dragged into this?"
FluffySongbird: "I'm sorry..."
Omega19x: "... I... I want to go home..." he curled up, crying. "I... I don't like this place... I... I didn't want anyone else in my mind... And... and they just... come in and throw me out..."
FluffySongbird: "I really am sorry for all of this, Anzu. You can be my friend when you get home." Yuugi smiled.
ph33r my rod: Leaving Ryou's body on his mount, Malik hopped off and kneeled in front of the wizard. "Ryou, it's okay, I'm here now... you're gonna be okay. I'm gonna bring you home..."
Omega19x: "... Malik?"
Ankhutenshi: "But it's not bad here. Didn't you see? I was important... just for a little bit... Macha needed me. I want to stay here now."
FluffySongbird: "but you'll deteriorate here."
ph33r my rod: Malik smiled. "It's me... I'm here."
Omega19x: Ryou just jumped forward, but flew straight through him.

Ankhutenshi: The magician shrugged. "Better than out there. Why are you here, anyway? Did you draw the short straw or something and had to come get me?"
FluffySongbird: Yuugi shook his head. "I just wanted to."

ph33r my rod: Malik blinked, then looked back behind him at the wizard. "I have your body here, but... I don't know how to make you join with it again..." He bit his lip, hoping that Mahaado or somebody would come back to do it.

Omega19x: Meanwhile, Mahaado was back in the realm of the gods, searching for the others.
ph33r my rod: Malik sighed, feeling about ready to cry himself. "...will you come back with me? I promise, I'll make it better somehow..."
Omega19x: He followed Malik's trail, and soon reached the cave. "The godesses were kind enough to provide me safe passage again. Do you need help?"
FluffySongbird: More tears streamed down the little duelist's face. "I know you're upset and angry. I would be too. But I want you to feel better..."
Omega19x: "Spirit sorcerery is my trade."
ph33r my rod: Malik looked up at Mahaado, a sad expression on his face. "Um... give us a second. I dunno yet..."
Omega19x: "... Wh...what do you want with me?!" the white wizard is quite afraid of the sorcerer.
ph33r my rod: He turned back to Ryou. "Ryou, it's okay, he just wants to merge your ka with your body again..."

Ankhutenshi: "How do you know that if I go with you, things'll be better? It'll probably just go back to the way it was before... I should have never come to Domino..."

ph33r my rod: "Ryou, please..." Malik embraced the spirit the best he could, which was more like holding air than anything. "It's okay, don't be scared... he's not gonna hurt you. I won't let anything else happen to you..."

Omega19x: Right now, Ryou didn't want anyone touching him... He... he felt so... wrong inside after someone else broke into his mind. He barely had the strength to let Malik be so close, and it was only because he knew Malik wouldn't hurt him

FluffySongbird: "Come on." Yuugi held his hand out. "I'll at least care. I'm a good person. Well, I'm sure you're used to my other self..."
ph33r my rod: Malik nodded. "Let Mahaado put you back into your body, and nobody will take you out anymore. I'll take you home, and it'll all be okay, I promise..."
Ankhutenshi: Anzu put her hand in Yuugi's, and as she did, the illusion of the Magician of Faith melted away.
Omega19x: "... don't.... don't let him hurt me... please..."
Omega19x: "I will not hurt you. I promise."
ph33r my rod: "I won't. He won't hurt you. I won't let anyone hurt you anymore..."
Omega19x: Finally, Ryou nodded weakly. "... I... I just want to go home..."
ph33r my rod: "I'll take you home."
FluffySongbird: "It'll be all right...I promise. I'll visit after I take Baki and Maru home."
ph33r my rod: He looked up at Mahaado, giving him a nod.
Omega19x: Mahaado whispered a spell, and the white wizard joined with Ryou's body again.
Omega19x: He shivered, and fell off the mount.
ph33r my rod: Malik rushed over to Ryou, tugging him into his arms.
Omega19x: And Mahaado then rode to where Yugi was. "Do you need any assistance, little pharaoh?"
Omega19x: "Malik?"
Omega19x: He weakly put his hands up, touching Malik to make sure he was in a body again. "... Please... c...can... can we... can we just go home?"
ph33r my rod: Malik nodded and pulled Ryou up, somehow managing to get both of them on the mount again. "Yes. We'll go home... it's okay, it's over now."
Omega19x: Ryou shivered. "I... I'm sorry..."
ph33r my rod: He gently kissed the top of Ryou's head, before starting to head back. "It's alright... you're back now."
Omega19x: "... cold..."
ph33r my rod: Malik stopped the mount and pulled his shirt off, completely ignoring the cold. "Here... sorry, it's all I've got right now," he said, tugging it over Ryou's head.
Omega19x: Ryou just shivered, and coughed a little. "... home... please..."
ph33r my rod: "We'll be home soon." And with that, Malik rode back to where everyone else was.

Omega19x: Mahaado noticed this. "Have we displeased you, great goddess?"
silverbluedreams: "No. I simply wish to ensure you all have left my realm. But I hope never to cross paths with you again."
Omega19x: "I thank you again for your help." he bowed. "I am the last one here. Though if you will allow me to speak frankly, please, show kindness to the spirit of Delwyn.
Omega19x: She gave her life in the battle. May her spirit rest peacefully."
