Omega19x: A still slightly nauseated Mahaado knocks on Isis' door. The willow influsion was already doing wonders for the headache. He was, of
course, able to teleport himself home safely, despite being still slightly hungover.
ph33r my rod: It took a few moments for Isis to get to the door - she was still having some trouble moving, but not quite as much as the day before. She
opened the door. "...hi."
Omega19x: Mahaado bowed respectfully. "Good priestess, you wished to see me? If this is in regards to something I may have said when intoxicated,
please, there was much that should have remained unsaid."
ph33r my rod: Isis blinked a little, then blushed faintly, shaking her head. "No, it has nothing to do with that..."
Omega19x: Mahaado looked away, realizing he should not have even brought up the topic.
ph33r my rod: "...it's actually kind of dumb, but I think I'd feel better if I got it out of my system. There's been a lot of things weighing down on my mind
lately, and if I talked about at least one of them a little, I wouldn't feel so... stressed."
Omega19x: "All right." Mahaado replied. He sat down on the sofa, across from her. "Please begin."
ph33r my rod: Isis looked down at the floor, unsure of how to begin. "Well... when Finn started his attacks, and you told me to be careful... I really tried to
take heed of that advice, but I... let my guard down." She sighed. "He used the possessed Maru in order to distract me, and I think that... if I hadn't been so
careless, then I may have escaped." She looked up at Mahaado, looking somewhat guilty. "I just wanted to apologize for that, and for making you and everyone
else worry about me."
Omega19x: "You are not at fault. Many were taken captive by that monster. And he saw no dishonor in using mere children in his favor. I am just
thankful that it is over. The child, Maru, is back with his mother and safe. And you are safe as well."
ph33r my rod: "...I know, and I'm glad for that. I just felt like... I don't know. Malik was worried, and Ryou, and the little Malik was left here by himself, and..."
Isis bit her lip and looked down again. "I just feel like things might have been different if I'd paid more attention to your advice."
Omega19x: "I do not think things would have gone much differently were you to pay more attention, good priestess. Finn was ruthless."
ph33r my rod: "...you're right, he was." She shook her head, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "I told you it was dumb. But I think that it needed to be
said..."
Omega19x: "I hope that it aids your recovery."
ph33r my rod: She nodded. "I do feel better, now that I've gotten that out. I'm sorry if I've inconvenienced you or anything, by asking you to come here..."
Omega19x: "No. It was no inconvenience. I am on my way to my apprentice's quarters, to retrieve my kuribo."
ph33r my rod: "...I see. I'd better not keep you any longer, then. I'm sure Azizi misses you."
Omega19x: "I should say the same. You look quite weary. It would be best if you rested. I will prepare a potion for you, and bring that by tomorrow
after I leave the shop."
ph33r my rod: "Alright. Thank you."
Omega19x: Mahaado bowed again, and took his leave.
