Omega19x: Mahaado knocked on Isis' door. In his hand, he carried a small statue. He believed she should know his intentions as they concerned her
brother Rishid.
ph33r my rod: It took Isis a few moments to answer the door - the only visitor she had really been expecting today was Kaiba, so she'd had to will away her
sudden anxiety. Upon answering the door, however, she blinked for a moment, actually somewhat relieved. "Hello," she greeted, eyes traveling down to the
statue. "...?"
Omega19x: "Good priestess, may I enter?"
ph33r my rod: "...yes, come on in." She stepped aside.
Omega19x: "Priestess, I have located the form of your brother." he held up a statue, which he had shrunk, to make it more manageable. "His physical
body survives as solid stone."
ph33r my rod: Isis took a closer look at the statue, gasping upon seeing that it did, indeed, look like Rishid. "What? But how did..." She glanced up at Mahaado,
then back down at the statue.
Omega19x: "I am not certain of how. But I intend to find out. It was the gods that led me to this discovery, I am sure. It was originally much larger, and a
plaything of Princess Sharik."
ph33r my rod: "...so he's been reduced to this." Isis sighed. "Is there anything we can do with this...?"
Omega19x: "I am making a pilgrimage to the temple of Thoth next week, but when I return, I believe I will have learned all I need to finally bring Rishid
back."
Omega19x: "I must first retrieve what remains of his spirit from the Shadow Realm, and seal it within this body. That is the simple task. The more difficult
one will be reanimating it."
ph33r my rod: "Okay... I'm sure you'll be able to do it, but please be careful. With this, and your pilgrimage."
Omega19x: "Yes, priestess. I will not be able to complete such a ritual without assistance. It will likely require at least four spellcasters." he added softly.
"That is another reason why I have come seeking your audience.
ph33r my rod: Isis nodded. "Alright... I'll do anything I can to help."
Omega19x: "You lack training, but you are strong. And I have need of your energy. The more advanced sorcerers can help with the transfer, but I will
need your energy to sustain my spirit through the end of the ritual."
ph33r my rod: "...okay. I can handle that."
Omega19x: "Thank you, priestess." Mahaado bowed. "Please... no matter what happens in the ritual. Do not let your strength waver. If you do, Rishid
may never return."
ph33r my rod: She looked confused for a moment, but nodded again. "Okay..."
Omega19x: "I know you may not understand. But this ritual is more dangerous than any I have ever attempted before. Only with your help can we
succeed."
ph33r my rod: "I imagined it would be, since you're basically bringing someone back to life..."
Omega19x: "Yes. This is truly the realm of the Gods. The spell is one that would rival Anubis himself." Mahaado admitted. "But it can be done. The
casting cost is high, but it can be done."
ph33r my rod: (( brb ))
ph33r my rod: "I don't doubt that we'll be able to bring him back..."
Omega19x: "Your faith will help sustain me, priestess." he smiled. She did not need to know the rest. He decided not to burden her with the inevitability
of his death through the ritual.
ph33r my rod: (( Inner!Isis: ... DDDD8 ))
ph33r my rod: Isis returned the smile. "If this works, I... wouldn't even be able to begin to tell you how thankful I'd be."
Omega19x: "Your gratitude is all the reward my heart requires, priestess."
ph33r my rod: "...okay. I don't think I'd ever be able to repay you for it in this lifetime, so..."
Omega19x: "Think not about a debt to be repaid. I am not seeking compensation. Not when it is I who is truly paying a debt."
ph33r my rod: "Alright... I understand."
Omega19x: "I must be going, good priestess." he finally bowed. "Thank you for your time."
ph33r my rod: "Okay. Please, do be careful on your trip."
Omega19x: "I will. Thank you."
Omega19x: And he soon took his leave of the priestess.
