ph33r my rod: *Malik heads into whatever room that Ryou's in* "Hey~"
Omega19x: Ryou got up from the couch. He smiled. "Hi."
ph33r my rod: *looks closely at him* "...you get all rested up?"
Omega19x: Ryou nodded. "My eye still itches, though... but other than that I'm feeling a lot more rested."
ph33r my rod: (( Oddly enough, my eye started bugging me today... >> ))
Omega19x: (really now)
ph33r my rod: "Hm... we should probably do something about that." *puts his hand on Ryou's face and leans in to get a closer look at his eye* "It just itches?"
ph33r my rod: (( Yeah D: The bottom lid's all swollen and stuff. ))
Omega19x: "... well, my bottom lid's all swollen and stuff..."
Omega19x: (mine is too.)
ph33r my rod: (( *dies* Must be something going around, then. O_o ))
Omega19x: (must be.)
Omega19x: (one bottom lid is slightly more noticible than the other. But that's the eye that was all crusty and red while I was in LA.)
ph33r my rod: "Yeah, I can tell it's swollen... you've tried putting some drops in it, right?
Omega19x: "mmhm."
Omega19x: "It'll get better..."
ph33r my rod: "Okay... maybe if you put something cool on it, it'll at least stop itching. It usually works for other areas, so..." *shrug*'
Omega19x: Ryou nodded. "okay."
Omega19x: He walked up to Malik and hugged him. "Did you miss me when I was gone?"
ph33r my rod: *blinks, hugging him back* "Of course I did... I had a hard time sleeping the first couple of nights 'cause you weren't there."
Omega19x: "It's... nice to be missed..." he smiled. "But it's just as nice to be back home..."
ph33r my rod: *smile* "Where was it again...? Okinawa, right? Did you get to go out and see any of the city?"
Omega19x: "A little bit... We were supposed to have transportation, but they didn't have any for us... so I did a lot of walking."
Omega19x: "it's peaceful to walk, though... so that wasn't all bad."
ph33r my rod: *nod* "And you got some exercise, too. Not that you really need it, but y'know..."
Omega19x: Ryou giggled a little. "That's what the event staff said... that it made up for the puff tasting sessions."
ph33r my rod: "So it was good for the mind and the body. If only all trips could be like that, heh..."
Omega19x: "The icing intensive was really educational... and the marketing session... Oh, there was so much we learned. And I can think of at least a dozen new things to start doing at Creamylicious!"
Omega19x: "...mmm... and the puff tasting sessions were really great. So many puff samples, so little time."
ph33r my rod: *laughs a little and pets his hair* "Got anything you could show off tonight, or do I gotta wait until you get back to work?"
Omega19x: "I made a couple cream samples earlier today... Do you want to try?"
ph33r my rod: *nodnod!*
Omega19x: Ryou took two small bowls out of the fridge. He'd been experimenting. They were both vanilla. "Okay... try this one on the left first... and then try the right. Can you tell the difference between them?"
ph33r my rod: *tries a little bit of both* "Yeah, kinda... I think the vanilla's a bit stronger in one of them."
Omega19x: "which one? the one on the left... or the one on the right?"
ph33r my rod: "On the right."
Omega19x: "Do you like it more?"
ph33r my rod: "Yeah, it's sweeter." *grins*
Omega19x: "Would you believe it, but that cream mixture actually has 1/3 less calories!" Ryou beamed. "And it's sweeter!"
ph33r my rod: *blink blink* "Wow. That's cool... what'd you do different?"
Omega19x: "... I used artifical sweetner, and more natural vanilla extract."
ph33r my rod: "Ohhh... yeah, that'd do it. That's a pretty good idea. I couldn't tell that you'd used the fake sugar."
Omega19x: "... I'm going to try an apple flavored one using low calorie applesauce instead of sugar. It might have the same results. Apparently low fat puffs are the new trend."
ph33r my rod: "That's a good trend to follow, I think. Cream puffs are pretty light anyway, but being low fat too..." *smirk* "That'll probably pull in more customers, too."
Omega19x: "...they can be light, but they can be really rich too. But it's good to know that both can be tasty."
Omega19x: Ryou dipped his finger in the cream, and licked it.
ph33r my rod: *nod* "Looks like you picked up some pretty useful stuff at that thing, then. I bet it'll really help out in the long run." *smiles* "I missed you a lot while you were gone, but I'm glad you went, and had fun, and learned new things...."
Omega19x: Ryou smiled. "I'm glad I went too."
Omega19x: "You do anything fun while I was gone?"
ph33r my rod: "Nothing different from the usual, really. Sleeping, being lazy, hanging out with little-other-me while Isis is out, taking care of the cats... nothing too exciting." *shrug*
Omega19x: "... being lazy? That's not fun..."
ph33r my rod: *headshake* "Well, that was mostly watching TV, surfing the internet... that kinda stuff."
ph33r my rod: (( Inner!Malik: In other words, being just like my mun. *shot* ))
Omega19x: (oh stop being lazy.)
Omega19x: "... maybe you should have been the one going to the conference."
ph33r my rod: (( I've been lazy in a productive way! :P ))
Omega19x: (rofl)
ph33r my rod: "Well, I would've liked to go with you, but... it was a work-related thing, so I wasn't sure if I could or not."
Omega19x: "... it kind of was... nobody else brought their um... significant others..."
ph33r my rod: *takes Ryou's hands* "Well, it's over with now, and you're back home. So I'm not going through Ryou-withdrawal anymore." *smile*
Omega19x: "... if you really want to do more exciting things... we should plan an adventure every couple of weeks. Not a big adventure. But a little one."
Omega19x: "Something we could look forward to doing together." he smiled.
ph33r my rod: "Yeah, that'd be nice. Maybe when it starts snowing, we should do some things with that..."
Omega19x: "Okay." he smiled. "The snow will be coming soon. It's almost winter!"
ph33r my rod: *nodnod* "That means cold..." *shivers a little just thinking about it*'
Omega19x: "... but we can cuddle up in big blankets, make hot apple cider, and watch the snow fall outside our new house."
Omega19x: "... and hopefully not get sick..."
ph33r my rod: "...yeah, that'll be nice. Our first winter together in this house... we should decorate!"
Omega19x: "You're right!"
ph33r my rod: "It'll be really nice." *big grin*
Omega19x: "... what do you want to decorate with?"
ph33r my rod: "We should get some lights to hang up, maybe for the bushes too... and definitely a tree~"
Omega19x: "of course! A big Christmas tree!"
Omega19x: "... well, maybe not a big one. We don't have a really big room. But a nice one."
ph33r my rod: *nod* "Yeah. We don't really need a big one anyway, I don't think. Just big enough to be seen from the front window, really."
Omega19x: Ryou nodded. "I think we still have a few ornaments left over from last year."
Omega19x: "but we can get more..."
ph33r my rod: "Of course, if we need them." *gives his hands a squeeze* "Whatever we do, it'll be great because it's us... something we can do together."
Omega19x: Ryou smiled. "I like the sound of that."
ph33r my rod: *leans forward and kisses Ryou's forehead* "Sounds like a plan, then."
Omega19x: Ryou giggled. "Yup. A good plan."
