Omega19x: Ryou ran into the house, holding a package he received in the mail.
ph33r my rod: Malik looked up from the TV, blinking at him. "...Ryou?"
Omega19x: "It came!" he smiled. "It came earlier than I expected!"
ph33r my rod: "What is it?"
Omega19x: He opened the box. Inside was a small CD. The title was simply labeled, 'Zorc I' (heh, note the geeky change of spelling)
ph33r my rod: (( ... XD ))
Omega19x: "It's a role playing computer game. It's a spin off from Monster World, with a whole world named after the villan... "
Omega19x: "Or something like that... When I read about it online, I just had to get it."
ph33r my rod: "...ooh. Is it hard to learn? Or is it kinda like Monster World, or what?"
Omega19x: "I... don't really know. It's made by different people. And they say it has a different feel. Do you want to give it a trial run?"
ph33r my rod: *nodnod!* "Yeah, sounds kinda fun."
Omega19x: "okay!" and they rush off to the computer. Ryou loads the disc, and soon, a program starts up.
Omega19x: Ryou quickly created profiles for both he and Malik. He made himself a white wizard, and Malik a golden knight.
Omega19x: The game began: You are standing in an open field west of a white temple with a chained front door. There is a small letterbox here.
Omega19x: "... I think then we have to figure out what to do, where to go, look for clues... that kind of thing. What do you want to do?"
ph33r my rod: "...huh. Let's go look in that letterbox in front of the temple."
Omega19x: There is a leaflet inside.
Omega19x: The white wizard picked it up.
ph33r my rod: "What does it say?"
Omega19x: "So you are the brave adventurers who have tresspassed into the realm of Zorc. Your task - to delve into the forgotten secrets of the lost labyrinth, under Castle Zorc. You must search for hidden treasures, which are guarded by fearsome monsters and wicked traps."
Omega19x: "... this program was created by... Oh, now it just says all the developers' names..."
ph33r my rod: *blink* "...huh. Okay, uh... it doesn't say where to go, or anything?"
Omega19x: "... well, we know we're west of a temple."
Omega19x: "Maybe we have to just... use cardinal directions?"
ph33r my rod: "I guesso. Should we check and see if there's anything useful in the temple?"
Omega19x: (dammit, hangon. The zork window I'm snatching things from crashed.)
ph33r my rod: (( Eep. ))
Omega19x: (okay...)
Omega19x: "oops. I think I made us go the wrong way..."
ph33r my rod: "Eep. Can we go back?"
Omega19x: The characters move into a clearing by mistake. There is a forest surrounding them on the west and south, and a pile of leaves on the ground.
Omega19x: "I'm... trying..."
Omega19x: Ryou tried again, and moved into the forest. "Okay... definitely cardinal directions... I should have typed east first... not west... Now we're in a forest."
ph33r my rod: "And it won't let us go back? ...huh. I guess we'll have to keep going through the forest, then."
Omega19x: "I tried to make it go back..."
Omega19x: The error message read: 'He who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is not fit for the kingdom of winners.'
Omega19x: But now, they are in a dimly lit forest, with large trees all around. One particularly large tree with low branches stands right here.
ph33r my rod: "...ahhhh. Well, okay, then."
Omega19x: "... well, we might as well make the best of it..."
ph33r my rod: *nod* "Yeah. Is there anything special about that tree? It's bigger than all of the others..."
Omega19x: "... the branches are hanging pretty low... maybe there's something up it?"
ph33r my rod: "...let's try climbing it."
Omega19x: The wizard and knight climb the tree, until they are about ten feet above the ground, nestled in branches. The nearest branch above them has a small birds' nest. The nest contains a jewel encrusted egg.
Omega19x: "oooh, do you see that?"
ph33r my rod: "Ooh, yeah. Should we try to get it? The game said that treasures might be guarded by monsters or traps..."
Omega19x: "I'm going for it!"
Omega19x: The white wizard reached for the egg, and took it.
Omega19x: "... that was... too easy?"
ph33r my rod: "... Yeaaaaah."
Omega19x: They climbed down. "... I don't see any monsters."
ph33r my rod: "Huh. I guess that might be a freebie then, since it was the first one..."
Omega19x: "Okay... so we're back in the forest. We need to think in terms of cardinal directions. Where do you want to go next?"
ph33r my rod: "... Let's try going east."
Omega19x: They walk out into a clearing. There is a pile of leaves on the ground.
ph33r my rod: "What's with that pile of leaves? Is it just there or something?" Malik thought for a moment, then realized something. "Is there a way we can just look at it or something? 'Cause I've seen way too many cartoons where people fall in holes that were like, covered in leaves and stuff..."
Omega19x: "um... when I tell it to look, all I see are the leaves... Maybe I can move them."
Omega19x: And the white wizard did so. With the leaves moved, a grating appeared.
ph33r my rod: *blink* "What's that?"
Omega19x: "... it looks like some kind of grating... over that hole you didn't want to fall into."
ph33r my rod: "Maybe we'd better stay away from it, then."
Omega19x: "... well, the instructions did say we'd have to search in a labyrinth under Castle Zorc... Maybe that's the entrance."
Omega19x: "We can always explore out here some more, and then go back."
ph33r my rod: "Oh yeah... okay, let's look out here some more. Maybe there's some kind of armor or something we can pick up."
Omega19x: "okay... then I say we keep going east."
ph33r my rod: "Okay."
Omega19x: "... which apparently is a direction we can't go."
ph33r my rod: "Can we go south? We don't wanna go too far from here..."
Omega19x: They move into a dimly lit forest again. To the east, there is sunlight.
Omega19x: "There are so many trees... I don't think I can get through any way but east..."
ph33r my rod: "Yeah... let's go that way then, I guess."
Omega19x: "... hm, how'd we go south, and then go east, and end up right back where we were?"
ph33r my rod: *blink*
Omega19x: "Maybe this game is bugged..."
ph33r my rod: "We're back in the area with the grating?"
Omega19x: The white wizard turns around, goes into the forest again, and this time, goes south one more time, just to try to get to something else.
Omega19x: They go east from there... and wow. Here's something new!
ph33r my rod: "Ooh."
Omega19x: They are at the top of a huge canyon, with a marvelous view of the Frigid River. Across the canyon, they can see white cliffs.
Omega19x: Following the canyon upstream (north and northwest) there are waterfalls. Flood Control Dam #3 is to the distant north.
Omega19x: Behind them is the forest.
Omega19x: And from what they can discern, it is possible to climb down into the canyon from here.
ph33r my rod: "Let's try climbing into the canyon..."
Omega19x: They go down, pausing at a ledge halfway up the wall. They can see the main flow from the falls, which twists along a spassage that they cannot enter. Below is the canyon bottom.
ph33r my rod: (( Be back in a bit. ))
Omega19x: (kay)
ph33r my rod: (( *back* ))
Omega19x: (wb!)
Omega19x: (they're still in the center there.)
ph33r my rod: "...should we try going the rest of the way down?"
Omega19x: "okay."
Omega19x: U(@^#(@$^@(*#&!*)()! it timed out!!!
Omega19x: (.....)
Omega19x: And right then and there, the game CRASHES.
ph33r my rod: (( ...&headdesk* ))
Omega19x: (lemme try and repeat the steps)
Omega19x: (okay... thatwasn't too hard. Thanks to us keeping record in this AIM)
ph33r my rod: (( XD Yes. ))
Omega19x: "... okay... let's try that."
Omega19x: THey climb to the bottom of the river canyon. There is a small stream. To the north is a narrow path.
ph33r my rod: "...let's see if that path leads anywhere."
Omega19x: "... hm... Okay."
Omega19x: They move to a small beach next to the river. It is narrow. A rainbow crosses over the waterfalls to the west, and a narrow pathh continues to the southeast.
ph33r my rod: "Let's see what's southwest... that beach might be too narrow to navigate. Or something."
Omega19x: "... hmm... so narrow you can't go southwest..."
ph33r my rod: (( Errr. *meant southeast* ))
Omega19x: "That just turns us around again."
ph33r my rod: "Oh. Okay, let's try the beach, then."
Omega19x: The white wizard attempted to navitage the beach, but it was too narrow.
ph33r my rod: "Huh. And there's nowhere else we can go?"
Omega19x: Sitting for a moment, the white wizard drinks from the river.
Omega19x: "... the water is okay to drink, it seems."
ph33r my rod: "Is there any way we can go down the river?"
Omega19x: Ryou tried, but in the game, it didn't seem possible.
ph33r my rod: "...oookay. Does that mean we have to go back, or something? Looks like a dead end..."
Omega19x: "I guess so."
Omega19x: They climb back up.
Omega19x: "Maybe we can follow the canyon from up here."
ph33r my rod: "Okay."
Omega19x: The white wizard takes a step, and quickly decides against it as the rocks don
Omega19x: t look stable.
Omega19x: "... and maybe that grate in the clearing is looking to be a better idea all of the time."
ph33r my rod: "...yeah. Can we get back there from here?"
Omega19x: They tried to find their way back through the forest, but there are so many trees. In the distance they can hear the chirping of a bird song.
Omega19x: "... maybe we should try to follow the bird!"
ph33r my rod: "Okay. It might lead us to something useful."
Omega19x: They start randomly walking through the forest... and somehow stumble upon the clearing instead.
Omega19x: The white wizard scratches his head.
ph33r my rod: *blink*
Omega19x: "... I wish that offering box had a map instead of instructions."
ph33r my rod: "Uh huh. Let's see if we can get into the grating..."
Omega19x: The knight tries it, but it is locked.
Omega19x: "... maybe there was a key in the temple."
ph33r my rod: "We tried to go back there a while back, but it wouldn't let us... think we can go back now?"
Omega19x: "... I have no idea... I'm trying to make us go somewhere... but so far, I can only walk in and out of that forest."
ph33r my rod: "... This is getting nowhere."
Omega19x: And the next thing he knows, the forest opens up, and there's the white temple. There is no door on that side, and all the windows are barred.
Omega19x: (I swear, this has NO directional sense)
ph33r my rod: *bliiiiiink*
ph33r my rod: "Can we go around to the other side?"
Omega19x: They walk all the way around the temple, only to find on the south side, a corner where a window is slightly ajar
Omega19x: "... I think we can squeeze through there."
ph33r my rod: "Yeah, it looks like the only way we can get in."
ph33r my rod: "Let's try it."
Omega19x: The window leads them into a food preparation chamber, which has been used recently. A passage goes to the west, and a dark staircase leads up.
Omega19x: There is a bowl on the altar, smelling of hot peppers. A clear glass bottle contains water.
Omega19x: "... food. Is it safe?"
ph33r my rod: "...I dunno. This place has been used recently, so if someone was eating it, then it should be..."
Omega19x: The smell appears to be coming from a clove of garlic and someone's lunch.
ph33r my rod: "There might still be someone here, who was eating it or something... maybe we should leave it alone."
Omega19x: "... ooops... too late. I just ate it."
ph33r my rod: "Eep."
Omega19x: "though my character seems happier than before. So it must have been tasty."
ph33r my rod: "Heh. Is there anything else in here that might be of use?"
Omega19x: "I'm taking the water. Never know when you might need water."
ph33r my rod: "Good idea."
Omega19x: Which leaves the passage to the west and the staircase going up into the dark."
ph33r my rod: "Let's try the stairs."
Omega19x: "... okay... into the dark then..."
Omega19x: They take a few steps up, and already the white wizard seems alarmed. "Uh oh... the game says to be careful in the dark. We're likely to get eaten by one of Zorc's grues."
ph33r my rod: (( XDDDD ))
Omega19x: "I... I don't know what a grue is, but I don't think I want to see one."
ph33r my rod: "Meep. Can we go back?"
Omega19x: "yeah... we can still go down. I don't want to go up there without some kind of light!"
ph33r my rod: "Okay, let's do that and try that passage."
Omega19x: This room is larger. There is a door to the east, and a door with strange lettering to the west that is nailed shut. In the center is a large rug. There is an elaborate idol case, with a brass lantern on top. A sword hangs over a fire. And there is a scroll there as well.
Omega19x: "... wow. There's a lot here!"
ph33r my rod: "Ooh, yeah. That lantern might be useful, and that sword."
Omega19x: The knight took the sword while the wizard took the latnern.
ph33r my rod: "Should we check out that scroll while we're here, too?"
Omega19x: "okay. You look at the scroll, I'm going to see if there's anything under this rug."
ph33r my rod: "'Kay."
Omega19x: Scroll reads: 'The endgame is here, somewhere. There have been some puzzling new discoveries near the thief's hideaway.'
Omega19x: "thief?"
ph33r my rod: "...huh."
Omega19x: Under the rug is a trap door!
ph33r my rod: "...that might be the 'thief's hideaway' the scroll was talking about."
Omega19x: "... I wonder if the idol case is important..."
ph33r my rod: "Let's check it out, just in case."
Omega19x: The white wizard looks around. "Hey, I think there's a place for that jeweled egg in here! Maybe this is where we're supposed to keep the treasures!"
ph33r my rod: "Ooooh, okay, that's useful. We won't have to just lug everything around. then."
Omega19x: "yes! That's got to be right! It fits so perfectly."
Omega19x: They opened the trap door next, because Ryou was curious. There is a staircase, descending into darkness.
Omega19x: "... okay, both up and down are dark... but we have the lantern. Do you want to go up or down first?"
ph33r my rod: "Let's go back up. There might be more up there, and going down might lead us further away from it."
Omega19x: The wizard turns on the lantern, and up they go!
Omega19x: They go into an upper chamber. There is a large coil of rope, a nasty-looking knife, and a square brick.
Omega19x: "... storage."
ph33r my rod: "Hm... rope, knife... think those would be useful at all? The knife's another weapon... and who knows when we'd need the rope."
Omega19x: ".. well, that rope would probably help us climb something... No clue what the brick is for. But if we have room, I say take it."
ph33r my rod: "Okay."
ph33r my rod: "Maybe we could throw it, or something." *snerk*
Omega19x: And they go back to that other room.
ph33r my rod: "Okay. Down into the trap door?"
Omega19x: "looks like the only way to go is down.."
Omega19x: And so they go down.
Omega19x: They go down itno the damp cellar, with a narrow passageway leading east, and a crawlway to the south. To the west is the bottom of an unclimbable ramp
Omega19x: The door crashed shut, and they can hear someone barring it closed!
Omega19x: "EEP!"
ph33r my rod: "Ack!"
ph33r my rod: "...ooookay, looks like we're stuck down here now. Glad we went back to get that stuff."
Omega19x: "... yeah... me too."
Omega19x: "... I think we should go... through the narrow passageway."
ph33r my rod: *nod* "Yeah, me too."
Omega19x: They enter a small room with passages in all directions. The walls are covered in bloodstains and deep axe scratches.
Omega19x: "... oh my..."
ph33r my rod: "...woah."
ph33r my rod: "Okay, uh... I guess we just pick a direction and go."
Omega19x: "... which way do you want to go... you have the sword."
ph33r my rod: "Um... let's go west."
Omega19x: "that's right where we came from."
ph33r my rod: "Oh, okay. North, then."
Omega19x: they enter a narrow east-west pasageway, there's a narrow staircase down at the north end of the room.
ph33r my rod: "Hm... let's try the stairs again."
Omega19x: the stairs take them down into a deep ravine at a crossing with an east west crawlway. there are stone steps where we came from, and a steep staircase going down.
Omega19x: "... well... we went down once... let's keep going down."
ph33r my rod: "Yeah. The instructions at the beginning said that there was stuff under Zorc's castle, so the further we go, the closer we might get."
Omega19x: And it takes them to the south shore of a reservoir. There's a western exit, a passageway south, and a steep pathway up the edge of that cliff.
Omega19x: "... we're pretty far down... there must be something off one of those passageways."
ph33r my rod: "Yeah... let's try that steep one. If we can even get up it."
Omega19x: They go up, where passages lead off to the east, south, and northwest. They can hear the water below still.
Omega19x: "okay... let's see... I think we should go northwest..."
ph33r my rod: *nod* "'Kay."
Omega19x: Taking that and going down again puts them right back at the reservoir.
Omega19x: "... okay... maybe we should take the passageway from here. This place is a maze!"
ph33r my rod: *blink* "...ooookay."
Omega19x: Out one of those passageways is an exit to the underground maze. There is a path by a gently flowing stream, traveling to the north and east (where they came from) There is a coil of shiny wire.
Omega19x: Which the white wizard promptly takes.
ph33r my rod: "Should we go back into the maze? There's a lot of places we didn't go in there."
Omega19x: "okay."
Omega19x: They go back into the maze, and look for new passages to take.
Omega19x: After a little wandering, they manage to get to the top of Flood control dam #3. There are paths going in a wide variety of directions.
Omega19x: The sluice gates on the dam are closed. And there seems to be a lake behind the dam. There is a control panel with a metal bolt on it, and a small green bubble.
Omega19x: "... what is this?"
ph33r my rod: *blink* "Can you take it?"
Omega19x: "No, it appears they're attached."
ph33r my rod: "Huh, okay..."
Omega19x: "maybe we can push them?"
ph33r my rod: "Try it, I guess."
Omega19x: He does, and there is nothing.
Omega19x: "... I'm a little scared to open that gate."
ph33r my rod: "...ooookay. We should probably leave it alone, it might release water or something."
Omega19x: yeah.
Omega19x: "okay... so that leaves paths to the north, south, east, and down. And we've been down... I know that."
ph33r my rod: "Yeah. Let's go south."
Omega19x: They find the south edge of a deep canyon, with more passageways.
ph33r my rod: Malik resisted the urge to bang his head on the desk. "So... many... passageways..."
Omega19x: The white wizard leads them south again, and they find a very strange circular room with 8 different passages!
ph33r my rod: ... Insert headdesk here.
Omega19x: The white wizard looks down at the compass that clearly has been useless so far. It spins wildly, and they cannot get bearings.
Omega19x: "... we're gonna have to guess."
ph33r my rod: "Ooookay. Let's take the fifth one..."
Omega19x: It takes them to a cave, with passages leading forward and backward. There are old engravings on the walls.
Omega19x: To his surprise, the white wizard can read them!
ph33r my rod: "What do they say?"
Omega19x: "... they're telling little stories about the people that used to live here, their skills, their sacred texts, but someone's tried to get rid of that."
Omega19x: And they accidently walk backwards into that room again...
ph33r my rod: "...ack."
Omega19x: The white wizard tried to go back in, but they ended up in a high north-south passage.
Omega19x: "... that room sends you anywhere!"
ph33r my rod: *blink blink* "It just... defies all laws of the universe, doesn't it? First the compass, now this..."
Omega19x: "it's a guess... since we don't know which direction we came in on."
Omega19x: "let's try north?"
ph33r my rod: "Okay."
Omega19x: And it just leads to more passageways.
ph33r my rod: Headdesk again. "Aaaagh."
Omega19x: "... oops..."
Omega19x: "I think I went back into the room again... yes... i did."
Omega19x: (headdesk)
ph33r my rod: "Ooookay, let's just... pick one at random or something. Honestly, we need a map for this place..."
Omega19x: They do... and they end up in a smal lcircular room with a pedestal. There's a set of stairs leading up, and other passages. But there's a highly valuable grail there!
Omega19x: "... another treasure!!"
ph33r my rod: "Ooh. Let's get it."
ph33r my rod: (( They found the Holy Grail! ))
Omega19x: "I got it."
Omega19x: "... okay, I think we should go up, away from that room."
ph33r my rod: "Yeah. Way away from that room."
Omega19x: They enter a small underground temple. There's a prayer carved into the south wall. an entrance at the west end, and a small brass bell.
Omega19x: "... I can read the prayer... The last verse warns not to tresspass into the land of the dead."
ph33r my rod: "...meep."
Omega19x: "... I'm curious as to whether ringing that bell is a good thing or a bad thing."
ph33r my rod: "Well... if anything happens, we have weapons."
Omega19x: "true."
Omega19x: And the bell... it goes ding dong.
Omega19x: So he takes the bell.
Omega19x: And sadly, the only way to go is back out... and back into our favorite room.
ph33r my rod: *HEADDESK*
Omega19x: They find themselves now in a crawlway, with a three foot high ceiling. There are lots of rocks underfoot, and passages in several corners.
Omega19x: "I'm just going to go and see where it leads me, okay?"
ph33r my rod: "...okay."
Omega19x: They eventually find a room witha high celing. The room is really noisy, but there is a large platinum bar there.
ph33r my rod: "Ooh, platinum bar."
Omega19x: They tried to take the bar, but something strange happened. They found themselves back in that room of doom.
ph33r my rod: *GROAN*
Omega19x: And sends them to a square room with tall ceilings. There are three exits, and a mirror that fills the entire south wall.
ph33r my rod: (( Oh for the love of... we've got someone complaining about the angst again. ))
ph33r my rod: (( From someone who is barely active, no less. >> ))
Omega19x: (so I now see...)
Omega19x: Meanwhile, they decided to go down... and oh god... what a sight.
Omega19x: There's a large gateway that says 'Abandon Hope all ye who enter here.' And behind that gate is a pile of mangled corpses, thousands of voices lamenting a hideous fae.
Omega19x: *fate
Omega19x: The way through the gate is blocked by evil spirits!
ph33r my rod: "...holy shit. We'd better turn back."
Omega19x: And they quickly do.
Omega19x: "... do you think there was a treasure in there?
ph33r my rod: "I'm sure there was, but that place was scary as hell. I dunno if it would've been worth going through there."
Omega19x: "... okay..."
Omega19x: "It's back to the random pasageways again."
Omega19x: And they reach a cave, which narrows to a crack to the west. The ground is damp.
Omega19x: "This is a hard game..."
Omega19x: "I wonder if Yugi's beaten it yet."
ph33r my rod: "Oh, I'm sure he has. He's probably found a way to beat any game."
ph33r my rod: "...can we get out through the west?"
Omega19x: And they keep going, eventually finding an art gallery. And there is only one painting left that hasn't already been stolen.
ph33r my rod: (( Or not XD ))
Omega19x: (sorry, I've been looking for SOMETHING in this maze)
ph33r my rod: (( *ded* 'S okay :X ))
Omega19x: "maybe that's another treasure."
ph33r my rod: "Should we try to take it? If we can?"
Omega19x: "it says we're carrying too much."
ph33r my rod: "...awwww."
Omega19x: "I say we lose the knife. We have a sword."
ph33r my rod: "Okay, that works."
Omega19x: "hmm... that didn't help. Maybe the painting is just too big to carry."
ph33r my rod: "Oookay, I guess we can't take it. Maybe there's something behind it or something?"
ph33r my rod: "Dunno what use a painting would be, anyway."
Omega19x: "Can't move it either."
Omega19x: Ryou shrugs. "Continue on then?"
ph33r my rod: "Aww. Okay, yeah, let's continue."
Omega19x: And after a lot of searching, they find what appears to be an Egyptian tomb! There is a staircase going up, as well as doors to the east and south. There is a solid gold coffin!
ph33r my rod: "Ooooh."
Omega19x: "That's got to be a treasue!"
ph33r my rod: "Yeah, let's open it."
Omega19x: "I did... nothing happened."
ph33r my rod: "...huh."
Omega19x: "And it's too big to take."
ph33r my rod: "Well, damn. Guess it's just there for decoration, then."
Omega19x: "There's not even a mummy in it.
Omega19x: They continue on, finding that control panel again, and this time, climbing down. They can see the river, as well as another valve. There is also a sharp stick there.
ph33r my rod: "... Can we take that stick?"
Omega19x: "yup."
Omega19x: "... I guess we shouldn't even ask what that valve does."
ph33r my rod: "Prooobably not."
Omega19x: They go up to a cave, where there's a tiny crack.
Omega19x: "Maybe this is where that stick goes."
ph33r my rod: "Let's try it."
Omega19x: "hmm... nothing happens."
ph33r my rod: "...oookay."
Omega19x: They go back by the flood control gate, and this time, find a wating room for tourists, or so it seems. There are 'private rooms' and a guidebook to the flood control gate is on a table, as is a matchbook.
Omega19x: "instructions!" the white wizard seizes upon that book.
ph33r my rod: "...guidebook, matchbook. Those'll be useful."
Omega19x: They go into a maintenence room, with tools, a panel of buttons in different colors, and a tube of toothpaste.
ph33r my rod: *blink* "...toothpaste? Why would there be toothpaste in here?"
Omega19x: "... tools can be useful."
Omega19x: "but our inventory is full... okay, what isn't important in here. I think we should lose the stick."
ph33r my rod: "Yeah. It's sharp, but we have sharper things."
Omega19x: "and the matchbook. We have out lantern."
ph33r my rod: "Yep."
ph33r my rod: "...what if we need to light it again, though?"
Omega19x: "it's powered by... batteries."
ph33r my rod: "... ... Oh."
Omega19x: "... I wonder what the buttons do."
ph33r my rod: "...I guess we can push one and see?"
Omega19x: "they're in different colors. blue, yellow, brown, and red.

Omega19x: He then pushed the blue button, but that might have been a bad idea. There's a rumbling sound, and a pipe has burst from the east wall of the room. There is water up to their ankles.

Omega19x: "should we push the other buttons, or try to find our way out... or can we vix the leak?"
ph33r my rod: "Um... we have tools, we might be able to fix it, but it may be better to get out of here... unless it'll keep filling up other rooms, in which case we should probably try to fix it."
Omega19x: "I don't think we can fix it..."
Omega19x: "I'm all for getting out of this room."
ph33r my rod: "...okay, yeah, that works."
Omega19x: "... and the water level is up to our shins."
Omega19x: make that knees as they try to find a direction that doesn't have a wall in front of it.
Omega19x: They make it out, and back to the control panel. Now the green bubble is glowing.
Omega19x: "... do you think we should be opening the gates? if there's a pipe burst... it could be bad."
ph33r my rod: "Um... maybe. It might let some of the excess water out..."
Omega19x: "... should we open them or not?"
ph33r my rod: "Let's try it, I guess..."
Omega19x: "... well, we can't open them."
Omega19x: "So much for that."
ph33r my rod: *headdesk*
Omega19x: "this game is really hard."
ph33r my rod: "Yeah, that's an understatement."
Omega19x: And they reach a small cave, which has a shovel and some bat poop.
ph33r my rod: "...ew."
ph33r my rod: (( XD Is there actually bat poop in there? ))

ph33r my rod: (( Dude. Awesome. *dies* ))
Omega19x: "... I wonder what one can do with bat guano."
ph33r my rod: "Probably nothing useful."
Omega19x: "let's keep walking."
Omega19x: "... I am so lost."

Omega19x: "... I think I've had enough of this game for now... It's so much harder than Monster World."

ph33r my rod: "Yeah... we'd better take a break before our minds implode, or something. Is there a way to save?"

Omega19x: (but not in real life there's not.)
