Omega19x: Cat!Yugi blinked, and stared at them. "Oh, Ryou. I didn't recognize you. Where's your leash? I thought your yami kept you on a tight one... You too, Malik."
ph33r my rod: "... ... Uhhh." Malik raised an eyebrow. "Leash?"
Omega19x: "... um..."
Omega19x: "Oh... I guess something happened between you two. He must be really angry."
ph33r my rod: Malik looked at Ryou, looking pretty confused. "...do you have any idea what he's talking about?"
Omega19x: "... What about your yami?"
"He's got his baby daughter to keep track of now."
Omega19x: Ryou shrugged at Malik. He assumed they were being confused with 'other selves' in this world.
ph33r my rod: *blink blink blink*
ph33r my rod: "...uhh. 'Kay."
Omega19x: "We... should get going. See you later, Yugi..."
Omega19x: Ryou walked the other direction, taking Malik with him. "He... thinks we're... someone else, but us... like... we're other selves!"
ph33r my rod: "...this is too confusing for words, Ryou. We gotta find a way out of here and back to our own world."
Omega19x: "... yeah... I... I don't want to stay a cat!person forever..."
Omega19x: He scratched his fluffy hair. "I... I think I have a flea!"
ph33r my rod: Malik nodded. "Especially if we're supposed to be kept on leashes."
Omega19x: "... maybe that was a figure of speech?"
Omega19x: (dude! have them bump into cat!Isis!)

ph33r my rod: "...it didn't sound like it was." Malik sighed and shook his head as they continued walking along.

ph33r my rod: Oddly enough, as they walked, Malik spotted a cat!Isis coming out of a small store.

Omega19x: Ryou blinked.
ph33r my rod: "... Uhhh." Malik blinked too, stepping back a little. "... ... I'm kinda scared to see how she might act in this world. Given how Yuugi acted, and all."
Omega19x: "... she's still your sister... um... kind of?"
ph33r my rod: "Well, yeah, but..."
ph33r my rod: (( ...I seriously don't know what to have her do ._. I think my drawing drain has zapped into my creative resources for writing and RP, too. x.x ))
Omega19x: (well, she's a cat. Have her... interested in cat things?)
ph33r my rod: Isis was carrying several bags, a couple of which seemed to be filled with colorful balls of something - probably yarn.
ph33r my rod: Letting out another sigh, Malik raised a hand and called out to her. "Hey, Isis!"

She jumped a little, almost startled, and looked over at them, quickly closing up her bags the best she could. "Oh... Malik, Ryou. Hello."
Omega19x: "Hi..."
ph33r my rod: Isis actually looked a little nervous as she hid the bags behind her back. "What are you two doing out?"
Omega19x: "... w...what are we doing out?"
ph33r my rod: "...in general?"

"...oh." Malik blinked, smacking his forehead. He turned to Ryou. "Guess she's not asking about anything specific..."
Omega19x: "... I... don't understand..."
ph33r my rod: "Just like a 'what are you up to' question, I think."
Omega19x: "... um... just out and about..."
Omega19x: "you?"
ph33r my rod: "Just... doing some holiday shopping. Getting a head start. That sort of thing." As if on cue, one of her bags suddenly dropped to the ground below, a ball of purple yarn spilling out. "...oh!" She quickly bent down to pick it up, almost dropping her other bags in the process.
ph33r my rod: Malik just stood there and watched, completely weirded out.
Omega19x: Ryou bent down, and helped her pick up some of her bags. There was a toy mouse in one. At least, he thought it was a toy.
ph33r my rod: "Thank you," she said, gathering them back up. "...I probably shouldn't have tried to do this all at once."
ph33r my rod: Malik started to scratch the back of his neck, but then remembered he had claws. "...uh. Need help getting those to your car or something?"
ph33r my rod: "...that would be nice."
Omega19x: Ryou took one of the bags.
ph33r my rod: Malik grabbed one too, and followed Isis as she started walking. "She seems pretty normal," he whispered to Ryou.
Omega19x: "... you're right."
Omega19x: They help Isis, and continue on their way. "... is there anyone else you think we might see here?"
ph33r my rod: "I dunno... really hoping we won't run into other-yami. That'd just suck." Malik's ear twitched a bit.
Omega19x: "... yeah... Let's try to get out of here before we do..."
ph33r my rod: "Good call."
Omega19x: "... but... how do we do that?"
ph33r my rod: "...I don't know. We were kinda pulled here without warning. Chances are, if we want to get out, it'll happen randomly..."
Omega19x: *whoomp*
ph33r my rod: *meep*
Omega19x: And out they go, back into the shadows
ph33r my rod: "... ... Well, that was prompt."
Omega19x: "... and... and we're back in the shadow realm again."
ph33r my rod: "...uh huh." Malik held on to Ryou's hand, somewhat relieved to be out of cat-world, but not pleased to be back where they started.
Omega19x: "... well... it all looks the same... Let's pick a direction and run for it..."
ph33r my rod: "...okay."
Omega19x: "The last thing I want to do is find any shadow creatures... or worse... Have them find us!"
ph33r my rod: "Yeaaah." Looking around for a moment, Malik picked a direction at random and started to run, pulling Ryou along with him.
Omega19x: (and I need food.)

Omega19x: Ryou looked down, to realize he was... dressed in overalls?
ph33r my rod: Malik looked down at himself too, then at Ryou. "... This seems familiar somehow."
Omega19x: "... Malik... don't look now, but I think we're in another world... and... and that mushroom over there has hands and feet... and bears a really strange recemblance to Haga... if Haga were a mushroom."
ph33r my rod: "...yeaaaah. Okay. I think I know what this is." Malik hopped up in the air, producing a "boing" sound.
Omega19x: "you boinged..."
ph33r my rod: "... Indeed. I've seen this in the arcade before. We're in like... Mushroom Kingdom, or something."
Omega19x: Haga Mushroom runs over. "Oh, please help us! Thief King Koopa has captured the pharaoh!"
ph33r my rod: (( XDDDD ))
ph33r my rod: "Uh... okay."
Omega19x: "He took him to that big scary castle!"
Omega19x: "... big scary castle?"
Omega19x: "Yes. That's what I just said."
ph33r my rod: "Annnnd let me guess, you want us to go rescue him."
Omega19x: "Well, that was the intention. You look like you're not from around here, seeing as you're not a mushroom. Therefore, you might be dumb enough to try. Did I say that out loud?"
Omega19x: (con quote reference! for teh win!)
ph33r my rod: (( *DIES* ))
ph33r my rod: "... ... Yeah. You did."
Omega19x: "Oh. Well, will you do it anyway?"
ph33r my rod: "I guess, if there's nothing else to do here." *looks at Ryou*
Omega19x: *gulp* "... okay..."
ph33r my rod: "Okay. So where's this castle?"
Omega19x: "It's through the grass land, and the desert land, and water land, and giant land, and sky land, and ice land, and pipe land, and dark land."
Omega19x: "Or if you blow on this whistle, you could just get there now."
ph33r my rod: "... ... ... We should probably try the whistle."
Omega19x: "Yeah... good idea." Ryou takes the whistle and blows it.
Omega19x: And they appear at the gates of a large castle!
ph33r my rod: Malik blinked up at the castle. "... He wasn't kidding."
Omega19x: "... Okay, so we have to save the pharaoh... how are we going to beat this thief king koopa? We don't have our items..."
ph33r my rod: "... I think, how it worked in the game, we just have to like... jump past him or something?"
ph33r my rod: (( *forgot* ))
Omega19x: (lol)
Omega19x: "... that's it? Jump past him?"
Omega19x: "That's... easy... but rather dumb. They made a game like this?"
ph33r my rod: "... Yeah. This was way back when everything was 8-bit and they could only render so many pixels."
Omega19x: "... that... that game designer must have been sucked into this world. Nobody could imagine something THAT strange..."
ph33r my rod: Malik rubbed the back of his head. "Maybe."
Omega19x: Ryou took his hand. "Okay... then lets go in the castle, and jump over the thief king to save the pharaoh."
ph33r my rod: "Alright. Doesn't sound too hard."
Omega19x: So in they go!
Omega19x: And they jump over things! and run under things! And eventually Ryou learns that if you hit your head on something, gold coins pop out.
ph33r my rod: And Malik soon discovers that if you touch moving mushrooms, you get bigger.
Omega19x: "... wow!" Ryou also discovered if you touch a flower, you can shoot fire!
Omega19x: *boing boing boing* "... though my head is starting to hurt from all this money..."
ph33r my rod: "Try one of those red mushrooms... then you'd just have to reach up and punch the box." Malik reached up and hit one, making a mushroom come out.
Omega19x: Ryou caught it, and grew bigger!
Omega19x: "... oh! That'll make things easier..." Until he accidently got hit by some kind of weird fire pole, and became little again.
Omega19x: "... owwww."
ph33r my rod: "... You okay? At least you didn't get hit while you were small..."
Omega19x: "... what happens then?"
ph33r my rod: "You lose a life."
Omega19x: *gulp* "I... I don't want to lose a life."
Omega19x: "Where's another one of those mushrooms?"
ph33r my rod: Malik looked around before reaching up to hit another box. Another mushroom came out of it, but this time, it was green.
Omega19x: Ryou picked it up. "Are these good? Can you eat green ones just like you do red ones?"
ph33r my rod: "Yeah. They give you an extra life."
Omega19x: "oh! That's good!"
Omega19x: (and I'm ready to pull a Ryou.)
ph33r my rod: (( XD Go to bed. ))
