Omega19x: It is Christmas morning. The jingle bells have chimed in jingle bell time, the halls have been decked, and Ryou and Malik spent much of the previous night walking in the winter wonderland.
ph33r my rod: And now they wake up, having already given each other their gifts, but they've got more to give... to their cats!
Omega19x: Two more presents sat under the tree.
Omega19x: "... oh Zahra, girl! Here, kitty, kitty, kitty!!"
ph33r my rod: "Aishaaaa~!"
Omega19x: Zahra ran through the house, with the little jingle bell around her neck that Ryou had given her earlier.
ph33r my rod: (( brb ))
ph33r my rod: Aisha followed after, a piece of tinsel dangling off of her tail.
Omega19x: (d'awww!)
ph33r my rod: (( 8D ))
Omega19x: Ryou rubbed Zahra's soft fluffy fur. "Don't think we forgot you two. We have Christmas presents for you!"
ph33r my rod: (( My cat did that this morning XD ))
Omega19x: (dAWWW!)
ph33r my rod: (( *couldn't get video because she didn't have her webcam set up yet* ))
Omega19x: (lol)
ph33r my rod: "That's right~" Malik grinned. "You're family too, so of course you get presents."
Omega19x: Ryou pulled a little box out from under the tree. It had a big bell on it, which Zahra immediately batted with her paw.
Omega19x: "... the present's inside the box, silly!"
ph33r my rod: (( AWWW~ ))
ph33r my rod: (( Though they do like to play in boxes~ :D ))
Omega19x: Ryou started unwrapping it for his kitty.
ph33r my rod: Malik tugged another one out, with a long ribbon hanging off. Aisha bit at it and tugged it so the bow came untied. "Woah, hold on a second!"
Omega19x: He pulled a scratching post out of the box, and set it on the floor. It was covered in carpet, and had a little mouse on a spring hanigng from the top.
ph33r my rod: "...awwww, that's cute, Ryou! She has a toy."
Omega19x: "Now you have something to sharpen your little claws on that isn't my couch..."
Omega19x: "And a little mouse to bounce!" Ryou patted the mouse, and Zahra watched it go up and down and up and down and up and down.
ph33r my rod: "Heh, Aisha needs that too. They can share it."
Omega19x: (brb)
ph33r my rod: (( Kay. ))
Omega19x: (back, with dinner)
ph33r my rod: (( WB~ ))
Omega19x: Zahra watched the mouse, and started batting at it with her two front paws.
Omega19x: "...awwww... She likes it already!" Ryou smiled.
ph33r my rod: (( ... This is normally the time we eat dinner. We ate at two in the afternoon today. ))
ph33r my rod: Aisha meowed, and Malik buckled the collar around her neck, poking at the little A charm. "There you go~ Now you're wearing purple just like me."
Omega19x: (we ate at like 3, for lunch, so my schedule's wonky)
ph33r my rod: (( Ahhh. @@; ))
Omega19x: "Oh, that's so cute!"
ph33r my rod: "Isn't it? I think it looks pretty good on her."
Omega19x: Ryou nodded happily as Zahra jumped up trying to catch the little mouse she just bopped into the air.
ph33r my rod: Aisha joined her at the scratching post, rubbing up against it.
ph33r my rod: "... This was a cute idea. Even though we gave each other our presents already, we still had something to do on Christmas morning."
Omega19x: "mmhmm!"
Omega19x: the kitties mewed.
Omega19x: "And we could never forget them! They're part of the family!"
ph33r my rod: "Of course they are! I swear they're just like kids sometimes."
Omega19x: "only with sharper claws... hence the scratching post."
ph33r my rod: Malik nodded. "Yeah. And more hair."
Omega19x: Ryou scratches Zahra behind her ear.
ph33r my rod: Aisha hops up into Malik's lap and curls up into a ball.
Omega19x: "I think she's saying 'thank you', Malik!"
ph33r my rod: Malik smiled, petting Aisha's head. "You're welcome, Aisha~"
Omega19x: "You're welcome too, Zahra." Ryou kissed the kitty on the nose. She mewed back.
ph33r my rod: "...I think this was a good Christmas, Ryou." Malik pet Aisha as she lay in his lap, seeming to have fallen asleep.
Omega19x: Ryou scooted over to Malik and put his arms around him. He kissed Malik gently on the cheek. "I think it was the best Christmas ever."
ph33r my rod: Malik smiled, wrapping an arm around Ryou as well. "I think I agree with that. Though I just know that every year after this will somehow manage to top each other..."
Omega19x: "... I don't think anything could top me just being with you." he smiled, leaning on Malik. Yes, Ryou thought to himself... we are truly blessed.
ph33r my rod: (( ...dsajkhdjksa. *gets cavities* ))
Omega19x: (*mun mop?*)
ph33r my rod: (( *mops self up* ))
Omega19x: (the mop hasn't been passed around nearly as often these days.)
Omega19x: (oh, meanwhile, I'm doing the Seth/Mahaado waking up log.
ph33r my rod: (( Mainly because we haven't RPed as much these days. XD And we've been using other characters. And passing the UST mop around. ))
Omega19x: (no, but mun mop hasn't been used much in general these days.)
ph33r my rod: (( Yeah, true. :O ))

Omega19x: this just happened:
Omega19x: Omega19x: They tried the soup again, but it had the same result - Mahaado heaving the soup back up into that bucket. Even if it was just a few spoonfuls.

ph33r my rod: "...mm, you're right, I think... if something goes wrong, it'll turn out okay just because we're together."
Omega19x: Ryou nodded. "It's like a Christmas miracle, I think."
Omega19x: "Everything... will turn out all right in the end."
ph33r my rod: Malik nodded. "Right. It always does..."
Omega19x: "Merry Christmas."
ph33r my rod: "Merry Christmas, Ryou." Malik leaned forward, pecking his lips.
Omega19x: Ryou blushed and kissed him back. (Now THAT was the best Christmas present!)
ph33r my rod: Aisha must've sensed her owner getting fluffy, so she hopped out of his lap and pounced the scratching post, joining Zahra in playtime.
Omega19x: Giving Ryou a place to sit.
ph33r my rod: Now that he could move without fear of waking a sleeping cat, Malik wrapped his other arm around Ryou, giving him a tight hug.
Omega19x: He was pulled sweetly into Malik's lap, and pecked him again. "And a happy New Year too."
ph33r my rod: "...oh yeah, New Year's is coming up. We oughta try staying up unil midnight so we can see the new year come in. Last time, we were... kinda stuck in Egypt, I think."
Omega19x: "okay!" Ryou smiled. "I like that idea a lot!"
Omega19x: "I'll make special New Years puffs..."
ph33r my rod: "Ah, the first puffs of the new year... those'll be something special."
Omega19x: Ryou giggled.
Omega19x: "You'd say that every year!"
ph33r my rod: Malik smirked. "Because it'd be true. Why else would I say it? Heh, it can be a little tradition, or something."
Omega19x: Ryou giggled again. "Aww... you're sweeter than a whole package of cream puffs!"
ph33r my rod: "You know, that phrase still makes me smile, no matter how many times you say it."
Omega19x: Ryou couldn't help but smile. He loved making Malik smile. "hehe... I think THAT was the greatest Christmas gift yet, Malik... Yeah... I think it was."
Omega19x: And they continued cuddling for quite some time.
