You have just entered room "iloveaparade."
fai tiger has entered the room.
Omega19x: Ryou and Malik were sitting on a bench, watching a parade come through the street. It was the closing night of the fair, and to celebrate, all the floats were up in lights!
fai tiger: Giving up on finding the friends she had come with, at least for now, Rebecca looked around for a seat to watch the parade and noticed Ryou and Malik, as well as some space near them.
Omega19x: Another float came by, with spinning stars. The music played.
Omega19x: "... oh, hi Rebecca!" Ryou waved. "I didn't know you would be at the fair tonight too."
ph33r my rod: Completely enamored with the floats, Malik didn't notice Rebecca walking up at first, but he turned and looked at her, giving a short wave.
fai tiger: With a small giggle Rebecca waved back before sitting down, happily clutching a bear from one of the game booths. "Yup! I've been every day this weekend with some friends, it's been so great."
Omega19x: "It has..." Ryou looked up at another passing float. This one had a small replica of the Kaiba Corp building, and there were dancers on stilts dressed as blue eyes white dragons.
ph33r my rod: Malik blinked and raised an eyebrow at that float. But he grinned. "I already can't wait for the next fair~"
ph33r my rod: (( ...and mun says that, replacing "fair" with "con". :x ))
fai tiger: Rebecca gestured at the float. "...Okay, that? Weird."
Omega19x: "What have you liked best about it, Rebecca?"
fai tiger: ((Heh))
fai tiger: Rebecca thought for a moment. "Oh gosh... I don't know. Having the chance to just hang out with people for a little while?"
fai tiger: "It's been so long since I got to come to a fair and just... act like a kid."
Omega19x: Ryou nodded, and took a bite out of his ice cream sandwich.
ph33r my rod: Malik continued to watch the floats go by, licking on his ice cream cone. "I'd have to agree with that one. Hanging out with people, I mean."
fai tiger: Rebecca eagerly glanced back and forth between the floats and the couple. "Think a lot of people have liked that. What about you, Ryou?"
Omega19x: "I think my favorite parts have been... doing special things with Malik... Like going on the ferris wheell together, and watching the fireworks... The fireworks were gorgeous last night... weren't they."
ph33r my rod: "Oh yeah." Malik looked over at him and smiled. Although most of the time he'd been focused on Ryou, as opposed to the fireworks...
Omega19x: "... and he won me a really cute Change of Heart plushie."
fai tiger: "Aw, that's sweet."
Omega19x: "I tried to win him one... but I kept missing the target."
fai tiger: Rebecca giggled a little. "Malik doesn't look like he's complaining though."
ph33r my rod: "Nah. I got something to hug on that's eleventy billion times better than a plushie~"
Omega19x: Ryou giggled.
fai tiger: That got a laugh from Rebecca as well. "Well, great for you. I'll settle for plushies for now though." She held up the bear a little to illustrate.
Omega19x: "Oh, that's cute!" Ryou smiled. As if on cue, the next float had a pair of plushie bears dancing.
fai tiger: Rebecca gasped and stared happily at the bears as they went by.
ph33r my rod: "...heh, that's cute too."
Omega19x: The floats continued, the next one was a giant hot dog... They could have all gone without watching that one.
ph33r my rod: Malik shuddered as that one passed. "... ... What is it with this place and hot dogs?"
Omega19x: "... it must be an American thing... I don't get it either..."
fai tiger: Rebecca wrinkled her nose. "I guess... I don't care for them either, to be honest."
Omega19x: Fortunately, the hot dog passed, and the next float contained a large quilt made of lights, the squares flashing in brilliant colors.
Omega19x: "Oooh, that one is much better!"
ph33r my rod: "Oooh yeah, that looks cool~"
fai tiger: Rebecca nodded. "Definitely."
Omega19x: Ryou smiled, and nibbled on his ice cream sandwich.
ph33r my rod: Malik finally looked back down at his strawberry cone, and squeaked, noticing that it was mostly melted by now. "...whoops."
Omega19x: "... oh... do you want me to get you another one after the parade is over?"
Omega19x: A band was approaching.
fai tiger: "Get a little too busy watching your huggable lover there, Malik?" Rebecca couldn't help but tease.
ph33r my rod: Malik blushed, glaring halfheartedly in Rebecca's general direction. "...maybe." He eyed the melted cone, which had proceeded to run down onto his hand.
fai tiger: Rebecca just giggled and went back to watching the parade, and the approaching band.
Omega19x: Ryou leaned down, and kissed Malik's hand gently, licking his lips as he looked back at the band. "... it still tastes strawberry."
ph33r my rod: Blushing again, Malik attempted to salvage what was left of his cone as he watched the floats and band go by. "Mhm."
fai tiger: Rebecca blushed faintly, but didn't watch the couple.
Omega19x: There were only a few more floats after the band, more spinning globes, more dancers, even one with a replica of the ferris wheel on it.
fai tiger: Rebecca watched all of these parts of the parade with rapt attention, a wide grin soon covering her face.
Omega19x: Ryou watched as well, finishing off his ice cream sandwich.
ph33r my rod: "...they really went all-out on this one, didn't they?"
Omega19x: "... its the last night of the fair. I guess they did."
fai tiger: "Makes sense," Rebecca replied with a firm nod. "Any idea how much longer they'll leave the booth and rides going?"
ph33r my rod: "It's kinda late as it is right now, I dunno if they'd wait until tomorrow to start taking things down or not... so they could still be open for a while." Malik shrugged.
Omega19x: "I don't know... Probably another couple of hours, I'd think."
fai tiger: Rebecca considered this. "Also makes sense, I suppose. Doubt it's a good idea for me to wait to see how long this fair keeps going though."
Omega19x: "... no... you'd better get going and enjoy it before it's... well... gone."
ph33r my rod: "I know I wanna ride the ferris wheel again before everything's gone."
Omega19x: "... that sounds like fun." Ryou smiled. Though he was getting somewhat tired.
fai tiger: Rebecca gave them a large smile. "That's my cue to let you two go enjoy that, isn't it?"
Omega19x: "what do you want to do, Rebecca?"
fai tiger: "Oh, I..." She paused, trying to think for a moment what that answer was. "I suppose look around, one last time. Though, that ice cream Malik had looked rather good too," she admitted.
ph33r my rod: By this time, Malik had managed to eat the rest of his cone before it became a puddle. "Mmf, they were selling them right over there," he said, pointing at a stand a short way down the path.
Omega19x: Ryou nodded. "they have all sorts of kinds..."
ph33r my rod: "Yeah. 'S good stuff."
fai tiger: "Then I guess that will be my first stop," Rebecca said as she stood up. "I suppose after that I should look for the friends I came with, let you get back to your couple-y fun..."
ph33r my rod: "Mmkay. See you later, I guess."
Omega19x: "... it was nice visiting with you again, Rebecca!" Ryou waved. "See you later!"
Omega19x: (this was cute!)

Omega19x: (and in other news, Kisara has asked Mahaado on another date, hoping that third time is the charm)
fai tiger: (heh, best of luck with that then)
Omega19x: (yeah, this time, nothing can go wrong. She's invited him over for a homecooked meal.)
fai tiger: ((you wanting Honda to keep Kafele company during this date or is he going too? at some point I'd like Honda to get to try to be friendly to Kafele, but doesn't have to be this time))
