Omega19x (8:36:07 PM): Ryou and Malik head over to Isis', in hopes that a visit to his sister's house, where they used to live, will bring back memories.
ph33r my rod (8:40:02 PM): Malik didn't recognize the house, but Ryou had said it was Isis' house... if she was home then he knew it would be okay.
ph33r my rod (8:40:43 PM): Indeed, Isis was home. She opened the door, seeing them walk up to the house.
Omega19x (8:40:55 PM): Ryou waved. "Hi Isis!"
ph33r my rod (8:42:38 PM): Isis smiled at them. "Hello..." She glanced at Malik for a moment, then turned to Ryou. "How is he doing...?"
Omega19x (8:44:12 PM): "A few memory lapses... where he remembers things, but then forgets them again..." he whispered again. "I'm hoping that him being here will help jog more memories."
ph33r my rod (8:47:07 PM): As if on cue, it looked like Malik had recalled something, and he suddenly walked over to the side of the house to get a look behind it. "Hey, there's an ocean behind the house," he called.
Omega19x (8:50:14 PM): Ryou rushed over behind him. "Yeah. Isis lives on the beach." He put a hand on Malik's shoulder. "Isn't it beautiful?"
ph33r my rod (8:53:44 PM): Malik nodded and smiled. "Let's go down there..." He started walking down toward the beach.
Omega19x (8:55:42 PM): Ryou took Malik's hand. "Okay!"
ph33r my rod (8:58:34 PM): As soon as Ryou took his hand, Malik broke out into a run, leaving Isis behind to watch them.
Omega19x (8:59:01 PM): Ryou ran down the side of the rocks with Malik, as fast as he could.
ph33r my rod (9:01:54 PM): As soon as they got there, Malik stopped running, and took his shoes off. He walked right up to the shoreline, feeling the water wash up around his feet.
Omega19x (9:02:43 PM): Ryou took his off too, and followed Malik. "Is this... familiar?"
ph33r my rod (9:03:30 PM): Malik nodded. "...I had another dream. About us playing in the ocean. Except you were sick or something, and I was trying to cheer you up..."
Omega19x (9:04:10 PM): "Those dreams... they're real. I... I mean, they're of things that have really happened!" Ryou smiled excitedly. "The god of the moon, the ice cream parlor, the ocean..."
Omega19x (9:04:26 PM): Ryou let the waves rush over his feet. "They're all real."
ph33r my rod (9:06:13 PM): "...I knew there was a reason they felt so real." Malik walked further out, not even caring that his pants were getting wet.
Omega19x (9:06:40 PM): Ryou wrapped his arms around Malik. "I think it's... it's your memories trying to come back."
ph33r my rod (9:09:42 PM): Malik wrapped an arm around him too. "All of them are about you."
Omega19x (9:10:41 PM): "They're about you too..." he nuzzled his chin on Malik's shoulder.
ph33r my rod (9:14:26 PM): "..." Malik gave Ryou a tight hug, petting his hair. "So all of the dreams I'll have about us in the future... those have probably really happened too."
Omega19x (9:15:36 PM): "I bet so." Ryou answered with a smile. "Hopefully they're nothing but sweet dreams."
ph33r my rod (9:19:44 PM): "I hope so..." Malik was quiet for a second, content to just stand there and hold him. Then, all of a sudden, he lurched over to the side, both of them falling into the water.
Omega19x (9:20:04 PM): Ryou splashed. "Malik?! Are you okay?"
ph33r my rod (9:21:00 PM): He was smiling. "Yeah! I just wanted to make that dream real again."
Omega19x (9:22:19 PM): Ryou, now quite wet as well, burst out laughing, and splashed Malik playfully with the water.
ph33r my rod (9:24:26 PM): Malik splashed him back, looking the happiest he'd been ever since the accident.
Omega19x (9:25:42 PM): Ryou splashed him again, literally jumping into his arms!
ph33r my rod (9:28:35 PM): Malik stopped splashing and gave him a big hug, laughing.
Omega19x (9:29:12 PM): And a big hug it was. It was so big, that they both lost their balance again, falling over in the water.
Omega19x (9:29:42 PM): Ryou just grinned. "See? Everything's going to turn out all right..."
ph33r my rod (9:31:23 PM): Malik sat in the water and nodded, wiping his wet hair out of his face. "Thanks... I don't remember what I did to deserve you, but... I'm glad you're here."
Omega19x (9:32:01 PM): "I don't want to be anywhere else!"
Omega19x (9:32:26 PM): Ryou leaned in, and gave Malik a kiss on the lips, albeit a dripping wet one.
ph33r my rod (9:34:24 PM): Malik blinked in surprise for a moment, but he eventually relaxed, a bright blush on his face.
Omega19x (9:34:44 PM): (well, so much for the frog prince memory restoration theory)
Omega19x (9:35:08 PM): Ryou blushed too, forgetting for a moment that Malik probably wasn't expecting that. "... sor...sorry..."
ph33r my rod (9:36:56 PM): Malik looked at Ryou for a couple of seconds before pulling him into another kiss, longer than the first.
Omega19x (9:39:26 PM): Ryou smiled, and kissed Malik, as he waves pushed against his back.
ph33r my rod (9:40:57 PM): Eventually, Malik pulled away again. He was still blushing, but he had a smile on his face. "It... it's okay. I liked it. It felt like my first one, but... I have a feeling it wasn't."
Omega19x (9:41:58 PM): "... no... The... the first one was in... in Las Vegas." Ryou replied softly. "It was almost two years ago..."
ph33r my rod (9:43:51 PM): "I wish I could remember that... maybe I'll dream about it."
Omega19x (9:45:18 PM): "I... I dream about it every now and then. It... it was in Las Vegas that you told me that... that the feelings I had... that I didn't know what was going on... that they were the feelings you have when you're in love..."
ph33r my rod (9:47:17 PM): Somewhere in the back of his mind, Malik could feel the feelings that he was referring to. "...I think I feel them right now."
Omega19x (9:47:48 PM): "Me too."
Omega19x (9:48:12 PM): Ryou just smiled, and blushed a little. "I... always feel them when I'm with you."
ph33r my rod (9:50:48 PM): Malik smiled back and gave him another kiss, a light one on the cheek. "...will you still feel them, even if I don't get my memory back?"
Omega19x (9:52:14 PM): "I feel them... because together... we're making new memories..."
ph33r my rod (9:54:42 PM): For a second, Malik looked like he was about to cry, he was so happy. He just gave Ryou another hug, afraid that if he let him go, he'd slip away.
ph33r my rod (9:58:05 PM): "...thanks for staying with me through this. I... I don't think I could do this alone."
Omega19x (9:59:05 PM): "Malik... you'll never be alone..." Ryou returned the hug. "Never."
ph33r my rod (10:01:09 PM): Malik sniffled, resting his head on Ryou's shoulder. "Thank you... thank you so much."
Omega19x (10:02:43 PM): Ryou rubbed Malik's back tenderly and smiled. "I'm always here with you..."
ph33r my rod (10:04:00 PM): Malik nodded. "'Kay... but um, let's be together somewhere warmer... the water's a little cold now."
Omega19x (10:05:11 PM): Ryou blinked. "... yeah... that's probably a good idea.... Let's get some towels from Isis."
ph33r my rod (10:07:01 PM): Isis must have predicted that they would need towels, because Malik turned to look over at where they'd left their shoes, to find a couple of towels left next to them. "...is she psychic or something?" Malik asked, laughing a little as he stood up.
Omega19x (10:08:53 PM): "... well... she doesn't have the tauk anymore..."
Omega19x (10:09:12 PM): Ryou followed out of the water, picking up a blue towel, and wrapping himself in it. It felt even colder now that he was out of the water.
ph33r my rod (10:12:18 PM): Malik rubbed at his hair with the towel to dry it out, then wrapped it around himself. "That was fun. I'm glad we came here..."
Omega19x (10:12:57 PM): "Me too." They walked back up the rocks to Isis' house.
ph33r my rod (10:14:39 PM): Isis was waiting for them by the side of the house. "Any luck?"
Omega19x (10:17:50 PM): "... a little, I think."
ph33r my rod (10:18:52 PM): "I think so too... a bit." Malik smiled over at Ryou.
Omega19x (10:19:09 PM): "... though now we're a little wet..."
ph33r my rod (10:21:49 PM): Isis smiled at them. "You can stay here for a while and dry off, if you'd like."
Omega19x (10:22:24 PM): "Thanks, Isis."
ph33r my rod (10:23:13 PM): "Anything I can do to help..."
Omega19x (10:27:53 PM): They walked inside, wrapped in their towels.
ph33r my rod (10:29:37 PM): "Just make yourselves comfortable. I can put your clothes in the dryer for you, if you'd like," Isis offered.
Omega19x (10:30:24 PM): Ryou looked down. He was pretty wet. "... maybe that would be a good idea... if you don't mind..."
ph33r my rod (10:36:46 PM): Isis nodded. "Well, you know where the bathroom is, if you need to get out of those clothes."
Omega19x (10:37:27 PM): Ryou took Malik's hand, to show him where it was in case he didn't remember.
ph33r my rod (10:41:15 PM): Malik let himself be led. "...we lived here, didn't we."
Omega19x (10:42:19 PM): "We sure did." Ryou answered. "Does it look familiar?"
ph33r my rod (10:46:41 PM): "Well... when we were outside, I kinda felt like I... knew what this place was. 'Cause in my dream all I could see was the ocean, and everything around it was just kinda fuzzy. But it just felt like I'd been there before, for a long time."
Omega19x (10:48:19 PM): "We lived here until we... we had enough money to get a home of our own..."
ph33r my rod (10:49:21 PM): Malik nodded in understanding, shivering a little. "...'kay."
Omega19x (10:50:49 PM): Once naked, Ryou wrapped himself back up in the big towel. "We used to share a bedroom... My yami even lived here for a little while. Isis was always so... kind and generous."
ph33r my rod (10:52:57 PM): Malik did the same. "She seems a lot more open now that we don't live underground anymore."
Omega19x (10:55:30 PM): "... the whole world's more open!"
