Omega19x: (where is Yuugi anyway?)
xCrossSoulx: (He's in Egypt...which is a slight problem. I don't know if you want him to come there or if you'd rather go to Egypt)
Omega19x: (Ryou is bad with airplanes...)
xCrossSoulx: (Atem could shadow-port them there or Yuugi can go to them. Your pick)
Omega19x: (yugi come to us?)
ph33r my rod: (( ...and Malik doesn't remember ever being on a plane so he'd prolly be scared XD ))
xCrossSoulx: (Alrighty...Who wants to start or should I?)
Omega19x: (you're coming to us, so go ahead)
xCrossSoulx: Yuugi appeared outside Ryou and Malik's house. At least he hoped that he had the right place as he looked at the facade.
xCrossSoulx: Hesitantly he knocked on the door. He hoped that Amun wouldn't mind him leaving briefly to be of help to his friends. He sighed a bit as he waited for someone to answer his knocks.
Omega19x: Ryou opened the door. "Yuugi... You came..."
ph33r my rod: Malik was sitting inside, just kinda staring off into space. "...who is it, Ryou?"
Omega19x: "It's Yuugi... he's a friend."
Omega19x: Ryou motioned him inside.
xCrossSoulx: Yuugi followed him. "Of course I came. I did offer my help." He gave what passed for a smile to him and looked about the house.
Omega19x: It was a small dwelling, but very well kept.
Omega19x: "Please... can you help us?"
ph33r my rod: (( ...we did get that hole in the wall fixed eventually, right? *kicked* ))
Omega19x: (you did. Don't you remember? Lol)
ph33r my rod: (( I can't brain today, I have the amnesia. :< ))
Omega19x: (teehee)
xCrossSoulx: Yuugi looked around, of course it was smaller then what he was used to but it was nice. "So, you wanted to take me up on my offer to help?"
xCrossSoulx: (hehe.)
Omega19x: Ryou nodded, looking hopeful, yet polite. "Can you really help Malik remember?"
xCrossSoulx: "I can but try. I cannot make any promises, Ryou." There was no sense in sugar coating things after all. "These new skills of mine are still raw and untrained but I think it might be one of few options that you have."
ph33r my rod: Malik looked up at Yuugi. There was something familiar about that hair...
xCrossSoulx: Yuugi gave a small, encouraging type smile to Malik.
Omega19x: Ryou gulped and nodded. "... okay..."
xCrossSoulx: He looked back to Ryou and placed a hand on his shoulder. "I will try my best though, my friend."
Omega19x: Ryou reached his hand out towards Malik. "Do you want to try?"
ph33r my rod: Malik nodded timidly and bit his lip, reaching up to take Ryou's hand. "I'll try anything..."
Omega19x: "Okay, Yuugi... What do you need us to do?"
xCrossSoulx: He looked at the two of them and gave a faint smile. He hoped that he could help them. He really wanted to from what he had read on the journals it was a rather traumatic thing to have the one you loved forget everything.
xCrossSoulx: He blinked away his other thoughts. "I think first we might want to find a comfortable room. Perhaps, someplace that holds alot of meaningful memories for both of you."
Omega19x: Ryou thought for a minute. "How about our bedroom?"
ph33r my rod: Malik nodded in agreement. "I do have all of those dreams in there..."
xCrossSoulx: He gave a short nod. "Then it is there that we should go for this. Also anything else that has stired memories within you might need to be brought along."
Omega19x: (inner!Ryou: I'll get the cream puffs!)
xCrossSoulx: (Inner!Yuugi: Can I have some puffs, please? XD)
ph33r my rod: (( Inner!Malik: I don't think we can bring the ocean in there... ))
Omega19x: (Pockypuffs on the counter. help yourself, unless Malik ate them all)
ph33r my rod: (( Don't worry, he left some. ;D ))
Omega19x: "There are a lot of memories in there... pictures... keepsakes... gifts..." he fiddled with the ring Malik gave him."
xCrossSoulx: (XD)
xCrossSoulx: Yuugi nodded. "Anything else?"
Omega19x: "... I've got a box of Pocky... and some of your favorite music, Malik..."
ph33r my rod: "...I can't think of anything else."
xCrossSoulx: Yuugi looked around and observed Malik and Ryou through his two-toned eyes. "How about the ring on your finger." He nodded his head a bit towards Ryou's hand. "Items can hold traces of memories if the emotional impact is enough."
Omega19x: "This... Malik gave this ring to me... when he proposed to me..."
xCrossSoulx: "That might be a key element and pivotal in my being able to return his memories to him." He smiled. "May I take it just for the duration of this session?" He wasn't sure if Ryou would hand it over to him though.
Omega19x: Ryou was hesitant. "... If... if it will help Malik..." he slid the ring off his finger for the first time since he got it.
xCrossSoulx: "I will take good care of it." He held it in his hand. "Now, perhaps we should go on to the bedroom."
Omega19x: Ryou nodded, and took Malik's hand.
ph33r my rod: Malik gave Ryou's hand a squeeze. "It... it'll be okay. I trust Yuugi."
Omega19x: And they walked into the bedroom together.
xCrossSoulx: "I will do my best." He followed them in and looked around a moment. "I feel the need to explain what is going to happn befor I do anything. I hope you do not mind."
Omega19x: "... oh, please do..."
xCrossSoulx: He nodded. "Come over and both of you sit on the bed. I will want you both close to each other while I am working anyway."
ph33r my rod: Malik sat down, a little scared about what might take place.
Omega19x: Ryou sat on the bed as well.
xCrossSoulx: Yuugi frowned trying to gather all his thoughts and what his minimal readings had told him.
xCrossSoulx: "As I have said these powers are new to me and therefore I am not sure of how they will react with things nor do I know how to totally control them. "
xCrossSoulx: He paused and rolled the ring around in his hand. It would be a vital connection in all of this.
xCrossSoulx: "There is a chance that I will not be able to return the memories, but I do not think I would be bringing any more harm to his mind."
Omega19x: Ryou put his hand on top of Malik's.
ph33r my rod: Malik clung to Ryou's hand, his own hand shaking nervously.
xCrossSoulx: He frowned slightly as he looked at both of them. Th true risk was going to be placd on Yuugi. "However..." he paused.
xCrossSoulx: "...as I understand it, there is always more danger to the one doing the mind travel. I could end up leaving traces of my memories within Malik or worst case being trapped within his mind fully."
Omega19x: "... don't... don't get stuck there..."
ph33r my rod: "...I don't think I'd be able to forgive myself if you got stuck inside my head for this..."
xCrossSoulx: "I am willing to risk it though to help you both." He looked to Ryou and smiled a little. "After all you have been kind to me and tried to understand me when very few even take the time."
Omega19x: "Thank you... thank you, thank you..."
ph33r my rod: "...yes, thank you. Thank you so much." Malik managed to smile a little in spite of his nervousness.
xCrossSoulx: "Thanks come once I have done the task and not befor." He whispered. "Now, are you both ready?"
Omega19x: Ryou took a breath. "Okay..." he squeezed Malik's hand.
ph33r my rod: Malik nodded, holding on to Ryou's hand as well.
xCrossSoulx: "I want you to close your eyes Malik, I'm going to be placing you in a light trance. Ryou you will assist me by placing a hand on my shoulder to ground me to this place.
xCrossSoulx: I will also be using your memories to see if I can jumpstart his into returning So I'll be forming a link with you as well. Ready?"
ph33r my rod: Malik closed his eyes.
Omega19x: Ryou put his hand on Yuugi's shoulder.
xCrossSoulx: He quickly placed Malik into the trance and then pressed a finger to his forehead gently. His mind brushed against Malik's, like a feather, asking to be admitted into the other's mind.
xCrossSoulx: (By the way I rolled and Yuugi;s chance of getting in is 95% so all I need is the word from Malik that his mind opened to him)
ph33r my rod: Malik could feel Yuugi trying to probe into his mind. He hesitated for a moment, but allowed him to enter.
xCrossSoulx: He slipped easily enough into Malik's mind, thankfully. He smiled and closed his eyes as he reached out mentally to speak with Ryou. The other would hear him without a problem
xCrossSoulx: ::Ryou, I wish you to think about Malik, the memories you have with him and everything,.
xCrossSoulx: I will be channeling them from you, through the ring which will intensifiy the memory and then from me to Malik. That will help to give me a path to where his hidden memories lay.::
xCrossSoulx: (or in this case, shattered and lost memories)
Omega19x: Ryou thought about Malik. He thought hard about Malik, about all the memories they had made together, the kisses they shared, the times they cuddled, the good times, the bad times, the times he would never forget...
Omega19x: He thought about Malik with the depth of his mind and the breadth of his heart.
xCrossSoulx: ::Good.:: Yuugi said encouragingly. He wove these memories into a sort of bridge, amplifying them using the ring so that they would call out and resonate with the corrosponding memory elements with Malik.
xCrossSoulx: Yuugi would then use them to find the location of the memories so that he could work to reestablish them.
xCrossSoulx: (Malik's mind is free to do anything to keep Yuugi from helping, if it has a mind to. Just so you know.)
ph33r my rod: (( I don't think Yuugi has anything to worry about in that sense. The one thing Malik wants the most right now is to remember everything, so he's let down all of his defenses if there's a possibility of bringing it all back. ))
xCrossSoulx: (Okies. That'll make things easier on Yuugi if he doesn't have to fight through anything :-D )
xCrossSoulx: After a while there was a pulling sensation on both Yuugi and Ryou. ::We have something.::
Omega19x: Ryou kept his eyes closed, thinking... thinking as hard as he could.
xCrossSoulx: ::I want you to hold the end of this trail.:: He said to Ryou and then he threw a silvery-blue tightly woven thread to Ryou mentally. ::I will need it to get back.::
xCrossSoulx: (By the way for those keeping track...Yuugi had an 84% chance of finding the memories. Dice roll-wise it looks like it'll work...so far)
Omega19x: Ryou held onto the string as hard as he could.
xCrossSoulx: ::Thank you.:: Once there was a connection established, a bit too easily in Yuugi's opinion, between the memory trail and Ryou's memories,
xCrossSoulx: Yuugi slipped along it and into Malik's mind fully his destination was the end of the thread where the memories where trapped or
xCrossSoulx: whatever condition they may have been in. yuugi just hoped they were not shattered beyond anything. That could get messy.
