Omega19x: Ryou was just straightening his bowtie, getting ready for their special anniversary dinner! Malik had picked out a wonderful place, and Ryou was excited.
ph33r my rod: Malik poked his head around the corner. "Hey~ You ready yet?"
Omega19x: Ryou nodded. "I sure am!"
ph33r my rod: Malik grinned, holding his hand out for Ryou. "Let's get going, then."
Omega19x: Ryou took that hand, and off they went!
ph33r my rod: They arrived at a tall tower - one that looked like it had a large ball on top. They took an elevator up to the top, where the restaurant was. The restaurant itself was dimly lit, illuminated by the a few ceiling lights, candles on the tables, and the lights from the city below which could be seen from the windows.
Omega19x: Ryou immediately looked outside. "Wow... What a view!"
ph33r my rod: But the best part about it was that the restaurant seemed to be rotating... every few minutes you could see a different view from the windows.
ph33r my rod: "Isn't it great?"
ph33r my rod: They were lead to a table close to the outer edge, where they had a good view.
Omega19x: "It's... it's wonderful! We can see all of downtown Domino from here!"
ph33r my rod: Malik grinned and nodded, sitting down. After a moment, a... very flamboyant waited walked up to their table.
ph33r my rod: "Hello~ My name is Kenji, I'll be your waiter this evening. Would you care for something to drink~?"
Omega19x: "... oh, a glass of tea, please."
ph33r my rod: "Water's fine here."
ph33r my rod: "Alllllrighty~ Here are your menus, and I'll be back with your drinks in two shakes of a lamb's tail~!"
Omega19x: Ryou took a look at the menu. It'd been a long time since he was last at an Italian restaurant.
ph33r my rod: Malik looked at his, too. "There's a lot to choose from, huh."
Omega19x: "... and it all sounds very good..."
Omega19x: Ryou looked at the various pictures. "...hmm... Oooh, I think I know what I want..."
ph33r my rod: "I think I've got an idea, too." Malik took another look. "Maybe. Possibly."
Omega19x: Ryou giggled. "It all looks so good... it's hard to pick!"
ph33r my rod: Malik nodded. "Yeah... that's the one downside." He looked up at Ryou and grinned. "I gotta put the menu down before I see something else."
ph33r my rod: Kenji returned with their drinks, setting them down on the table. "Okay, here you go~ Would you like to start off with an appetizer, or do you want to just jump into the main course~?
Omega19x: "... hmm... I think we're ready to go ahead and order... What do you think, Malik?"
ph33r my rod: Malik nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I'm ready."
ph33r my rod: "I'll have the eggplant parmagiana."
ph33r my rod: "Ooh, faaaabulous choice. And for you~?"
Omega19x: "... the Chilean sea bass... please."
ph33r my rod: "Mm, another good one~ Alrighty! We'll have that out for you shortly~" He left again.
Omega19x: Ryou smiled back at Malik. "This was a wonderful idea for our anniversary dinner..."
ph33r my rod: Malik sat back in his chair. "I thought so, too. I think they only opened this place a couple of weeks ago, actually..." He looked out the window, where he could now see the Kaiba Corp tower in the distance.
ph33r my rod: "...but can you believe it's been two years already? Where did the time go?"
Omega19x: "... It's... it's been the two most wonderful years of my life..."
ph33r my rod: "Mine too..." Malik looked back at him. "We've got many more of them to come."
Omega19x: "... I'm just happy you remember them again..."
ph33r my rod: Malik nodded and smiled. Although, behind his smile, he looked a little sad. "...yeah."
Omega19x: "...w...what's wrong?" Ryou saw the glint of sadness in his eyes.
ph33r my rod: "...I was just thinking. About the last couple of weeks." He looked down at the table. "How sad you looked when you found that I couldn't remember..."
Omega19x: "... Malik... th...that's over now..." he stretched his hand across the table. "I... I was sad... but... but you know I'd never have left you..."
Omega19x: "... even if you never remembered..."
ph33r my rod: Malik reached over to give his hand a squeeze. "I know. I just felt bad since you were hurt..."
ph33r my rod: "It hurt me to see you sad even when I couldn't remember why."
Omega19x: Ryou did his best to smile. "... I... I know... I felt the same way... You were so sad that you couldn't remember... and you were trying so so hard..."
ph33r my rod: Malik nodded. "I know it was out of my comntrol, but... I'm sorry. I never want to hurt you."
Omega19x: "... I know..."
Omega19x: "But there's nothing that can hurt me... that you can't put back together..."
ph33r my rod: "...I'll spend the rest of my life putting it back together."
Omega19x: Ryou offered a sweet smile.
ph33r my rod: Kenji came back with a couple of platters. "Okay, boys, here you go~ Eggplant parmagiana, aaaand the Chilean sea bass. Enjoy, let me know if you need anything~"
Omega19x: The aroma was exquisite. "...mmm...."
ph33r my rod: As soon as their waiter left again, Malik dug in. "This looks great, huh?"
Omega19x: "It does!"
Omega19x: Ryou cut into his sea bass. it was tender, and flaked off with his fork.
ph33r my rod: Malik tried his own dish, and promptly melted.
Omega19x: "It's that good, huh?"
ph33r my rod: "Ohhh yeah. This was a good choice."
Omega19x: Ryou smiled. "This is good too."
ph33r my rod: "I'd ask if I could try some, but uh. Y'know. Meat."
Omega19x: "... the eggplant smells divine, though... I'll have to make it for you sometime."
ph33r my rod: "Oooh, please do. I like this stuff."
ph33r my rod: (( Gah, sorry I'm slow. *ded* People are here. DX ))
Omega19x: Ryou nibbled on his sea bass.

ph33r my rod: They mostly ate in silence, enjoying the atmosphere. Malik leaned back in his chair once he finished. "...that was some good stuff."
Omega19x: "... It was... But do you know what was better?"
Omega19x: "... just being here with you."
ph33r my rod: Malik smiled and nodded. "Yeah... that's definitely the best part.
Omega19x: Ryou giggled a little, watching Malik smile in the candlelight.
ph33r my rod: Kenji popped up again. "Hello again~ How are you doing? Would you like some dessert~?"
ph33r my rod: "We've got a lovely strawberry mousse tonight, there's enough for two people~~"
Omega19x: Ryou looked up at Malik. That sounded like a good suggestion to him!
ph33r my rod: Malik grinned. "Yeah, we'll take one~"
Omega19x: Ryou nodded.
ph33r my rod: "Oooookay, I'll have that right out~"
ph33r my rod: "You know... they have an observation deck in this tower. After we get done, we can go out on there for a while if you want."
Omega19x: "That sounds really nice..." Ryou smiled, stretching his arms out across the table while it was clear.
ph33r my rod: Malik took Ryou's hands. "We'll have an even better view of the city.
ph33r my rod: "
Omega19x: "The best view... is right here... with that sparkle in your eyes..."
ph33r my rod: "...yeah, I'd have to agree on that one."
Omega19x: Ryou just smiled.
ph33r my rod: "Heeeeere you guy, guys~ One strawberry mousse for two!" He set down a plate in front of them. In addition to the pile of mousse, there were a couple of chocolate covered strawberries on the side.
ph33r my rod: Malik smiled and took a spoonful of the mousse, offering it to Ryou.
Omega19x: Ryou closed his eyes and opened his mouth.
ph33r my rod: In went the spoon. "How is it?"
Omega19x: "... so rich... If I filled puffs with this... mmm... We'd sell out in five minutes!"
ph33r my rod: Malik took a spoon of the mousse himself. "...oh yes you would."
Omega19x: "It's delicious..." Ryou took his own spoon, and nibbled some more mousse.
ph33r my rod: Malik nodded, and before long, all they had left was the two strawberries on the plate.
Omega19x: This time, it was Ryou's turn to grin. "Open up, Malik..."
ph33r my rod: Malik opened up~
Omega19x: And in went one of the biggest, plumpest, juciest strawberries he had ever tasted.
ph33r my rod: Malik's eyes closed as he bit into it, and he savored it for as long as he could.
Omega19x: Ryou giggled.
ph33r my rod: "Mm." Malik smiled. "You gotta try one of these."
Omega19x: Ryou picked up the other strawberry, and bit into it. Malik was right. It was delicious!
ph33r my rod: "Good, huh~"
Omega19x: "Very very good."
ph33r my rod: "All of it was."
Omega19x: Having enjoyed their dinner, Ryou and Malik decided to head over to the observation deck.
ph33r my rod: It was completely dark by this time, the only lighting coming from the city below, and the stars above.
ph33r my rod: "...isn't it pretty?"
Omega19x: Ryou leaned against the railing. "It's beautiful..."
ph33r my rod: Malik draped an arm around Ryou, leaning against the railing. "Everything seems more beautiful now that I can remember..."
Omega19x: "... you're beautiful..."
ph33r my rod: "...you are too." Malik turned to look into his eyes.
Omega19x: Ryou smiled, and leaned in.
ph33r my rod: Malik leaned in as well, giving him a gentle kiss.
Omega19x: Ryou returned the kiss, and wrapped his arms around Malik.
ph33r my rod: Malik held it for a long time, and rested his forehead against Ryou's upon breaking apart. "...I love you. Happy anniversary."
Omega19x: "Me too, you..." Ryou smiled. "Happy anniversary."
