Omega19x: And so... a bunch of folks, in full costume no less, descended up on the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Tokyo!
Omega19x: Ryou and Malik, having gotten a room the night before, were standing in the lobby, waving as they saw some of their friends come in.
fluffysongbird: Shiz led Katsuya and Mimiko inside. Shiz looked very enthusiastic, but Katsuya hoped no one noticed him.
lexaryan has entered the room.
Omega19x: Zexion!Ryou turned to his Demyx!fiance, holding a small tupperwear container. "Paopu puff?"
fluffysongbird: "Uh...sure..." Gourry!Kat-chan took one, reluctantly.
Agent Atemu: There was a sigh as Moki fanned himself, several bodyguards surrounding him as he descended the steps dressed as Misa Misa from Death Note.
Agent Atemu: He barely had enough time to finish all his costumes. And Kaiba had almost not let him go because of Gozaburo being back. And thus, the boydguard. But hey! At least they went well with the costume.
fluffysongbird: Yuugi was here, too, though not in costume. He didn't want to stand out too much.
Omega19x: "Katsuya... is that you?" Ryou asked. "Who're you dressed as?"
ph33r my rod: Demyz!Malik attempted to take a puff, but that proved to be somewhat difficult with the gloves he was wearing.

lexaryan: Espa walked in, toying with his super blonde Naruto!hair, his costume green and black to match his eyes instead of orange.

Agent Atemu: Misa-Misa!Moki spotted the group forming. "Hey guys!" He cheered, waving.

lexaryan: Espa waved and took his guitar to a corner, watching people in their costumes. Everyone looked so cool!

Agent Atemu: "Sure!" Misa-Misa!Moki took the puff. "These are so cu--"
Agent Atemu: The body guard behidn him snatched it away. "I have to test this for poison." He swallowed it whole.
Omega19x: "Hey! I said they're paopu puffs not poison puffs!"
Agent Atemu: Misa-Misa!Moki stared in shock before frowning. "....I kind of HOPE Ryou was trying to poison me NOW."
Agent Atemu: "They're clear." The bodyguard said.
Agent Atemu: ".............Ryou, may I please have another one?"
lexaryan: Food. Espa walked over to Ryou, smiling. "I'd like to try one, please. And order some next time I come by your shop. I love the way they look..."
Omega19x: "Of course." he smiled.
fluffysongbird: "Kat-sama, I'm boooooooooored."
ph33r my rod: Malik shifted around, trying to figure out the best way to hold onto his large blue sitar.
fluffysongbird: Katsuya gave Mimiko a lollipop.
Omega19x: "...hmmm... the schedule says the opening ceremonies start tonight, with a big dance rave... but there's still time before then. Maybe we should all go get something to eat in our costumes!"
Agent Atemu: "That sounds good!"
fluffysongbird: "Good, I'm frigging starving."
ph33r my rod: "Yeah, it's been a while since we had lunch~"
Omega19x: "... and the heartless can't survive on paopu puffs alone."
fluffysongbird: "And these stupid geeks next to me are staring down my costume."
Omega19x: Ryou wrapped his arm around his fellow Organization Member.
ph33r my rod: "...well, technically we're Nobodies, but I guess Heartless can't live on puffs alone either~"
Omega19x: "... oh yeah..."
Omega19x: Ryou giggled. "I'll get it right before the skit..."
ph33r my rod: Malik grinned and patted Ryou's shoulder. "You're learning~"
lexaryan: Espa munched on some puffs happily, deciding he'd get about six dozen for the house. Suuuugar... Mmmph.
Omega19x: The hotel had many amazing restaurants to choose from. But the decision was made easier with the brochure advertising a 'Costume Gala Banquet' at Signature, on the 37th floor.
Agent Atemu: "That sounds like fun..." Misa-Misa!Moki commented, frowning as his bodyguards crowded in around him.
lexaryan: Espa wondered how many bodyguards had to follow the kid around, and why. But hopefully he'd get to talk to Moki later.
Omega19x: "The brochure says... it's French fusion cuisine... and it looks really fancy."
fluffysongbird: Noticing the bodyguards, Katsuya wished Mado were here.
fluffysongbird: "...Aw, man. I was hpong for a hot dog."
fluffysongbird: *hoping
Omega19x: "I'm sure there's going to be plenty of food vendors too... if you'd rather do that..."
ph33r my rod: "Well, if there are other costumers there, then that might be pretty cool... but it sounds kinda expensive." Malik didn't want to spend all of his money on food, not when there was stuff to buy!
Agent Atemu: "Don't worry about it," Moki replied.
Agent Atemu: "I'll pay for all of you."
fluffysongbird: "You don't have to do that..."
lexaryan: Espa would have hugged him if there weren't a lot of people there. But he had his own money, so it didn't matter. He'd worked every day lately.
Agent Atemu: "I know," Misa!Moki stated. "But I want to. Besides..." he giggled. "Misa Misa loves making friends~!"
fluffysongbird: "Well, thank you, Moki. That's nice of you."
Omega19x: "Do Nobodies have friends?" Ryou whispered to Malik.
fluffysongbird: "Um...what's French food taste like?"
Agent Atemu: "Bad or good, depending." Moki stated. "But I know a few things you can have if you're picky like me."
fluffysongbird: "Well, actually, do they have kids meals?"
Omega19x: "I... I don't know..."
Agent Atemu: "Probably. My Nii-sama likes French food, so we always go out to eat at places like this. And my school serves it too."
fluffysongbird: "Okay, I just wanted to make sure since Mimiko-chan is seven and she's kinda picky, and she can't have milk products."

Omega19x: Signature Restaurant was right down the hall. It had a very modern and sophisticated atmosphere, which was all the more amusing in their costumes.
ph33r my rod: "...thiiiis is going to be interesting." Malik smirked.
fluffysongbird: "Yo, Kat-chan, don't be stupid enough to order calf brains and eggs."
fluffysongbird: "Shut up!"
Omega19x: The restaurant was set up for the con - with tables in long rows, different food already set out to be shared. The bill was on a 'per person' basis.

Omega19x: They were welcomed in, and invited to take a seat by the windows, which overlooked downtown Tokyo. From the 37th floor, it was a breathtaking view!
ph33r my rod: "Man, check out that view."

Omega19x: "... wow!"
fluffysongbird: "Hey, if I threw down a one yen piece from here, would it kill someone?"
Agent Atemu: "It's so pretty..."
Agent Atemu: There were several grunts from the bodyguards behind him. Misa!Moki sighed.
fluffysongbird: "Shizuka, don't even think about it. Besides, that's just a myth."
Omega19x: The food looked exquisite - bouche of cauliflower mousse layered with sea urchin, foie gras on apple compote, venison in black pepper sauce, braised abalone, datedori chicken breast with foie gras, green tomato gazpacho...
Omega19x: and that was just the beginning.
fluffysongbird: "Wow...I'm kinda afraid to try all of this. It looks just too good..."
fluffysongbird: Mimiko wrinkled her nose. "Ewww..."
lexaryan: Espa finally picked up his guitar and followed the crowd, taking a seat by himself and ordering randomly.
Omega19x: And yes, there was vegetarian fare too - a smooth pumpkin soup with chestnuts, a dish of thinly slicecd asparagus, and several choices of salad.
Omega19x: And since it's per person, you can try whatever you want.
fluffysongbird: "Eww...this is all stinky."
lexaryan: Espa selected a plate and put a ton of food on it before returning to his seat and eating rapidly as he watched everyond and laughed at the reactions to the food.
Omega19x: Ryou took small samples of just about everything too. It all looked so delicious.
ph33r my rod: Malik filled his plate with various goodies.
fluffysongbird: "Come on, Mi-chan, you have to eat something." Katsuya put a few lettuce leaves from the salads and a small slice of chicken breast on Mimiko's plate.
fluffysongbird: Shiz put a whole bunch of stuff on her plate and shoveled it all in her mouth like an animal.
Omega19x: Ryou sat next to the window, and ate the delicate food as it was meant to be eaten, and enjoyed.
lexaryan: Espa pulled some tofu out of his bag to accompany his food, and pushed his headband back.
fluffysongbird: Yuugi sampled a little bit of everything.
Agent Atemu: Moki was very selective, picking out only what he wanted, and knew what it was.
fluffysongbird: Kat-chan tried all the dishes without the yucky vegetables in them.
ph33r my rod: Malik looked over at Ryou and grinned, feeling like randomly getting into character. "So. Zexy. This stuff sure puts Axel's attempts at flambé-ing everything to shame, huh~?
fluffysongbird: "It's still yucky and stinky. Pleh!"
Omega19x: "... You want yucky and stinky... don't be in Castle Oblivion when it's Xigbar's time to cook..."
fluffysongbird: "Mimiko-chan, that's not nice... Just eat what's here, okay?"
Omega19x: "... At least Xemnas just gets take-out and lies about it... I'll take a McChocobo sandwich any day... This... this is much better." he smiled.
lexaryan: Espa giggled to himself and picked up his guitar, humming softly as he moved away from the crowd after finishing his food off.

Omega19x: And there was dessert - pigeon breast with bitter chocolate and almonds, mango soup with lychee jelly and lime sorbet, and some untruffled truffle ice cream.

lexaryan: "Who's L?" Espa asked out of curiousity. He was going to guard his ice cream.
fai tiger: "Someone obviously not here," Honda as Light answered him, randomly appearing just in time for that question.
fluffysongbird: "Can I please Dragon Slave someone already? Who the hell decided to serve *flying RATS* as *dessert*?!"
Agent Atemu: "True... oh!" Misa!Moki decided getting into character would be great now

lexaryan: "Oh..." Espa got up demurely and smiled at him, offering Light ice cream. He didn't know what show that was, but... hotness.
fluffysongbird: "Oh, hi, Honda-kun! Who are you again?"
fluffysongbird: Shiz beat Katsuya in the head. "Stay in character, moron!"
fai tiger: "Uh... sure Misa," Honda answered, going over to sit by Moki.

fai tiger: He glanced around, silently trying to identify as many of the other characters as he could.
fluffysongbird: "Owww...I'm sorry...Lina." Honestly, Katsuya couldn't tell whether Shiz was in or out of character.

lexaryan: Espa grinned and ate more ice cream, acting like a cat with a bowl.

Omega19x: Ryou looked at his watch. "We'd better finish up soon. The opening ceremonies will start in a few minutes!"
fai tiger: Honda checked his watch, then quickly pulled out his cell phone to make a call.
fluffysongbird: "Aw, crap. I think I missed the yaoi man..." Shiz grumbled under her breath.
fai tiger: "...Hey, where are you?" Honda murmured into the phone. "Oh, okay... No, that's fine. I'll find you and him later. Bye."
lexaryan: Espa waved at Shizuka, remembering their deal, and trying to be friendly.
ph33r my rod: Malik finished up his food, and then yawned, idly draping an arm over Ryou's shoulders.
fluffysongbird: Katsuya tried picking up Mimiko, when he realized he wasn't as strong as the real Gourry.
fai tiger: Honda slipped the phone back into his pocket, then glanced around idly again.
Omega19x: "... we don't want to miss that... They have a big dance afterwards." he pulled out the brochure. "It's a rave."
ph33r my rod: "Oooh! Sounds fun. I wonder if they'll have glowsticks."

fai tiger: "Ah, interesting. I'll have to see if some people I know show up to that."

fluffysongbird: Katsuya shuddered at the randoms sounds of camerals flashing.

fai tiger: "Alright." Honda stood up from the table.

Omega19x: The opening ceremonies were already going on by the time they made it down to the main programming area. But all the announcer was saying was welcome to the con.
Omega19x: He listed off the loccations of the dealers' rooms, the fanartists, the gaming rooms, and several of the big events.
fai tiger: Honda listened quietly, trying to determine what his L might want to see and do later.
lexaryan: Espa scribbled in a notebook since he'd forgotten to get a brochure. He'd figure out later what he wanted to do.
Agent Atemu: Misa!Moki was smiling excitedly. He leaned intowards Honda. "This is my first time at a convention... what's a dealer's room?"
Omega19x: There were card game tournaments starting up at almost every hour, DDR and para para championships, and several autograph sessions.
fai tiger: "They sell stuff," Honda replied quietly, leaning in a bit as well. "Manga, DVDs, plushies, pocky... lots of stuff."
fluffysongbird: Shiz thought to head to the fanartists section first, and on the way try to find the yaoi dealers...
Agent Atemu: "Oh..." Something told moki that was going to be his favorite room.
Omega19x: It was a long list, but the announcer finally wrapped it up - 'And now for the reason you're all here - to have fun. Dim the lights, and let's get this party started!'
Omega19x: Glowsticks were already being passed around.
Agent Atemu: ((Everyones gonig to come up to him and be "Moookki, I really wasn this can you buy it for meeee? XD))
fai tiger: ((*snerk* No, Honda will be going 'Misa, L wants pocky, could you buy him some?'))
lexaryan: Espa grinned. This was gonna be awesome. He got some glowsticks to play with, only getting green ones.
Agent Atemu: Misa!Moki blinked. "Ooooohhh..." He took the glowstick. He wondered how late he would be able to stay up, consdering school...

Omega19x: The music was turned up, and the crowd was let loose!
lexaryan: Espa headed towards Katsuya, seeing if he wanted to dance or if Shizuka would kick his ass.
Agent Atemu: ((Nah, ones that aren;t important to us, but they be closed because of them))

lexaryan: Espa tried not to be jealous, but he wanted to hit Moki so badly. Or Honda. Maybe both. He tugged at Katsuya. "First dance?"
fluffysongbird: "Actually, I don't think this is a really good place for Mimiko-chan..."
Omega19x: "... w...want to dance, Demyx?"
lexaryan: "Oh..." Espa let go and walked away. He'd go dance by himself then and ignore everyone, especially Honda. He wasn't allowed to let his feelings be hurt.

fai tiger: "Of course," Honda replied to Moki, starting to dance around.
fluffysongbird: Yuugi kind of stood there, feeling out of place.
ph33r my rod: "Of course, of course~ Good to see you cutting loose, Zexy!" Malik idly propped his sitar up against the wall and hoped it would still be there when they were done, and took Ryou's hands.
Agent Atemu: Moki giggled, beginning to twirl the glowstick around feebily, but attempted to make up for it with dancing instead.
Agent Atemu: ((And Honda, I'll brb, cause dinner awaits! Dance away and leave if you so desire~!))

lexaryan: Espa just danced with his eyes closed, letting the music speak to him and trying to forget where he was. Dancing was so fun, too bad he wasn't doing it with anyone.
Omega19x: "... I... I'm trying my best." Ryou smiled weakly, then remembered he was in character. "I mean... what happens in Destiny Islands stays in Destiny Islands..."

lexaryan: As the music continued, Espa got more into it, until his movements became faster and faster, his eyes still closed and a glowstick clutched tightly in one fist.
Omega19x: Ryou wasn't half-bad at the dancing, really. He was very flexible from all his yoga.
ph33r my rod: Malik wasn't entirely sure what he was doing since he didn't have arrows to dance to, but at least he wasn't stepping on anyone's toes?
Omega19x: Unfortunately, he danced right into an Inuyasha with a full-sized tetsusaiga... head first.

ph33r my rod: "Eep." Malik paused in his dancing and moved over to help steady Ryou. "Y'okay?"
Omega19x: "... that hurt..."
lexaryan: Espa took a moment to glare at the first person to ask to dance with him, flipping his hair back and saying he was waiting for someone.
lexaryan: Too bad, he really had wanted to meet a Kakashi there, too.
fai tiger: "And this would be why we shouldn't bring weapons to dancing," a girl mumured near the Ryou-Inuyasha mishap.
fluffysongbird: ((Okay, I'd better get going. I'll post later. See you.))
fai tiger: ((Bye!))
fluffysongbird has left the room.
fai tiger: Eventually the girl Honda was dancing with decided to find someone else, so Honda danced his way over towards Espa.
Omega19x: "At least it wasn't a keyblade..."
ph33r my rod: "Yeaaaah. Gotta watch out for those." Malik tugged Ryou close and started to dance slowly, despite the fast-paced music.
lexaryan: Espa waved cheerfully at him. "Do you want to dance with me, Honda-kun?"
fai tiger: "Sure!" Honda replied over the noisy music.
Omega19x: Ryou snuggled into his Demyx!Malik's arms. That was the safest place to be.
lexaryan: Espa laughed and closed his eyes to catch the rythym again, lightly touching Honda's hips and starting to move with him.
ph33r my rod: (( I'm sure if there were fangirls around, they would be squeeing. ))
ph33r my rod: (( brb again ))
lexaryan: Cameras went off like crazy over the couples.
lexaryan: ((now they're squeeing XD ))
fai tiger: On cue... fangirl-ism as well.
lexaryan: ((exxept the pictures won't come out, since it's a rave lol))
fai tiger: Honda moved a bit closer to Espa, trying to move with him.
Omega19x: "I'm supposed to be the scheming one, right?" Ryou asked.
lexaryan: Espa led him, but didn't grind too hard against him... yet. That was for behind closed door, but he smiled and kissed Honda on the cheek.
ph33r my rod: Malik nodded.
ph33r my rod: "Yep, you're the schemer."
Omega19x: "Then I scheme to... to dance close to you and not stop... I don't know how that'll stop Sora... but... um... it doesn't matter!"
ph33r my rod: "Sounds like a plan to me!"
fai tiger: Rebecca was also at the rave, although doing more being pulled around by her temporarily-redhead friend than dancing.
Agent Atemu: ((Whew~ *back*))

lexaryan: ((hey moki, espa stole honda for a bit, sorry XD ))
Agent Atemu: ((XD That's cool!))
Omega19x: And of course, Ryou managed to dance right into something else - this time, a Cloud that was clearly compensating for something.
fai tiger: Rebecca was dressed as Terra from Teen Titans, her friend as Starfire.
Omega19x: "... ow..."
fai tiger: So, naturally, people were paying a lot more attention to the less clothed redhead...
Omega19x: or the organization member who kept getting clocked in the head. one of the two.
ph33r my rod: Malik pulled Ryou back over again. "Maaaybe we should find somewhere less crowded to dance."
lexaryan: Rai and Ren from Diablo came up beside Honda and Espa, and he watched Honda to make sure they didn't fall over the two like Ryou seemed to be doing a lot of.
Agent Atemu: Moki finished dancing with a Riku, due to the fact that one of the Death Note L/Light cosplayers of a pair told him to butt of, cause the other was dooling.
Agent Atemu: Hell. It wasn;t HIS fault he was the most hated character! And looked good!
Omega19x: "... or someome needs to... to make anime where people don't carry around really really big swords..."
Omega19x: Which he says as he trips over a pikachu's tail.
ph33r my rod: "Or they could just... not dance with their really big swords." Malik looked over to the wall and was relieved to see that his sitar was still there.
Omega19x: "eep"
ph33r my rod: Since Malik was still holding on to him, he fell over as well.
Agent Atemu: Moki sighed, looking around for another dance partner. Because of him looking lost, he bodyguards came up to him and began swinging him around, attempting to dance with him.
Agent Atemu: After all, if Moki was sad, Kaiba would fire them.
fai tiger: "Uh Star? Pretty sure Robin isn't here..." Rebecca protested, continuing to be pulled around.
fai tiger: "Hey, wait, there's someone I know," she continued, then pulled free of her friend's grasp to randomly go over to Moki.
lexaryan: ((brb))
Omega19x: "... sorry..."
Omega19x: There were more and more people coming into the Rave.
ph33r my rod: "...it's really getting crowded now."
Omega19x: And Ryou was getting squished by someone who really didn't need to be in a Sailor Uranus suit... because that's definitely what they were showing...
Omega19x: "... maybe we should head back to the room, Malik..."
ph33r my rod: "Yeah, that might be a good idea... we wanna be up bright and early tomorrow~"
fai tiger: Since Moki was apparently too busy being swung around by his bodyguards to notice Rebecca, she wandered away again.
Omega19x: "I've got a lot of scheming to do!" Ryou announced proudly, before bumping into a very annoyed Van Helsing.
lexaryan: ((i really don't feel good... i think espa has to go now... i don' t want him to, though! night guys))
fai tiger: ((Okay, night!))
Agent Atemu: ((Aw, night!))
Omega19x: "... um... sorry..."
Agent Atemu: ((XD Sorry Rebecca, Moki had to go use the bathroom))
fai tiger: ((Heh, 's okay))
Omega19x: (shame on you for having to pee.)
ph33r my rod: Malik took Ryou's hand, starting to inch his way out of the crowd.
Omega19x: And avoid the various plushies, swords, and obviously swinging glowsticks.
lexaryan has left the room.
Omega19x: "... I hope the rest of the con isn't that crowded..." Ryou added once they finally got out of the huge ballroom.
fai tiger: Eventually Honda got separated from Espa. (so no, he didn't leave too)
ph33r my rod: "Well, on the plus side, it's not as crowded out here because mostly everyone's in there."
Agent Atemu: "ACK! Heeellllppp~!" Moki wailed as he was swung around. =__=;;;;
fai tiger: Honda headed over when he heard Moki over the music.
Omega19x: "... yeah..."
Omega19x: (I've got to head out. Malik can go back in if he wants, but I guess Ryou's gonna go back to the room)
Agent Atemu: The bodyguards spun him away. Moki felt dizzy as the guards let him go.
fai tiger: ((Okay, bye then.))
Agent Atemu: ((Aw, okay, bye~!))
Omega19x: "Malik... I'm gonna go back up to the room... my head hurts from all those swords and loud music..."
fai tiger: Honda managed to catch Moki, barely, as he got closer.
ph33r my rod: "Okay... I'll come with you."
Omega19x: Ryou wrapped his arm around his Demyx and they headed towards the elevators.
Omega19x: (night!)
Omega19x has left the room.
ph33r my rod: (( I'm out too, I got some stuff to do. ))
