silverbluedreams (8:36:32 PM): The creature's sanctuary was mostly gone thanks to that attack. But hiding wasn't its only ability.

Omega19x (8:37:39 PM): The blast hit Mahaado with astounding force, sending him toppling back into the shadows. It was unexpected, but he shook it off.

silverbluedreams (8:41:12 PM): The creature was countered by a much stronger blast which managed to blow a sizable hole in its chest. The wound dripped as it slowly began to heal.

Omega19x (8:42:24 PM): Mahaado tried to meet that one head on, but still took a hit. "Identify yourself." he demanded.

Omega19x (8:46:56 PM): (yeah, I just wanted to know who/what I was actually fighting.)

silverbluedreams (8:47:42 PM): "I'm your enemy; that's all you need to know," the creature hissed, making for another lunge.
Omega19x (8:48:14 PM): Mahaado dodged to the side, a spell already being cast.

silverbluedreams (8:50:26 PM): The creature managed to dodge enough of it that it only clipped him, and thus didn't hinder much his closing wound. Slowly his face began to change as he launched another attack to resemble someone more familiar.

Omega19x (8:51:34 PM): Mahaado quickly put his energy behind another attack as the creature morphed. Any chance at vulnerability, he'd have to take advantage of here. The shadows were already thickening. Dangerously so.

silverbluedreams (8:55:17 PM): "And you call yourself a sorcerer," the creature sneered, resembling almost identically the long-deceased brother of a certain woman in his life. The attack did practically nothing.

Omega19x (8:56:45 PM): Mahaado saw Finn, and he could almost feel his aura. "No, this is impossible. He cannot return from the dead. You are an abomination! A creation at the hands of Marik!"

Omega19x (8:58:01 PM): And with the power of Marik to boot, as a powerful energy bolt blasted through his chest and out the other side.

Omega19x (9:02:59 PM): That much was true. Mahaado could feel the shadows around him and inside him. Suddenly he knew what was happening.
Omega19x (9:03:40 PM): Marik had been able to open the poisons. And he was working on them, changing them... Mahaado could feel his mind and body slowing down considerably.
Omega19x (9:03:55 PM): "I will fight you, and this. And I will win." he shouted.

Omega19x (9:06:59 PM): Mahaado didn't even see the next blow coming until he was thrown into the shadows. He was dizzy, fighting to keep his eyes open and his breathing steady.

silverbluedreams (9:16:09 PM): The shadows retreated, transporting the unconscious (likely spelled wrong and i don't care lol) sorcerer back to his apartment.

silverbluedreams (9:23:01 PM): Delwyn got a chill while doing some spellwork in her room, and warily came out to investigate. Since Mado was home, she knew that he'd be up in a moment's notice should there be trouble.
Omega19x (9:25:21 PM): Mahaado lay unconscious in the middle of his spellcasting circle. Marik's test was more than effective. The poison was much stronger. And in such large quantities, Mahaado's body was at its mercy.
silverbluedreams (9:28:00 PM): She dropped her athame as she ran over to him. "Mahaado. Mahaado!"
Omega19x (9:29:11 PM): The exit wound on his back was frightening, but even more so was that it reeked of foreign poison.
silverbluedreams (9:31:08 PM): Delwyn made sure to try and not touch it. "Gods I don't know what to do," she whispered to herself. "Mado! You better get up here!"
Omega19x (9:32:14 PM): Before he could even teleport in, a very groggy Kafele had materialized, and was attempting to reverse the effects of the poison.
Omega19x (9:33:26 PM): But as part of Mahaado's mind, he was as affected as his master.
silverbluedreams (9:33:42 PM): Mado teleported up to where Delwyn's voice had come from. "Fucking hell! What in the blazes happened?!"
silverbluedreams (9:34:22 PM): "I found him this way," Delwyn explained, getting out of the way. "I don't know what he was doing."
Omega19x (9:34:22 PM): 'Trap...' Kafele managed to whisper. 'Marik. Test. Opened bottles...'
silverbluedreams (9:36:07 PM): "All right, just relax Kafele," Mado replied, looking over the wound and the poison. "I'm not sure I can absorb any of this, or how much. If I end up like him then we're both screwed."
Omega19x (9:39:12 PM): 'Stronger... than we've trained with. Too strong.'
silverbluedreams (9:40:33 PM): He got up and looked over the bottles on the shelf nearby. "Kafele, is Mahaado out because of the battle or the poison?"
Omega19x (9:43:24 PM): 'Poison.' the ka agreed. Mahaado's taken much harsher wounds and never lost a step.
silverbluedreams (9:45:55 PM): "All right, so this is that paralysis stuff he was talking about then," Mado searched the labels. "He said he had antedotes to just about everything Marik took..."
Omega19x (9:46:25 PM): 'Mahaado's antidotes are too weak for this. Marik's changed it. Drastically... But it'll help.'
silverbluedreams (9:49:35 PM): "We have to take what we can get right now Kafele," Mado found the right bottle. "I'll take out what I can to ease the strain."
Omega19x (9:51:11 PM): 'You don't want this... in you.' he insisted, almost as though Mahaado was talking through him. 'Apply it to the wound. Heal... stabilize... I'll take it from the inside...'
silverbluedreams (9:53:46 PM): "Fine; you know this stuff better than I do," Mado applied the remedy to the wound before working on healing. "Man we are in a shitload of trouble..."
Omega19x (9:55:16 PM): 'Marik. Stronger than ever...' the ka looked about ready to nod off himself, but Mahaado clearly fought to give his ka enough energy to sustain its form.
Omega19x (10:00:21 PM): 'must be... careful...' Kafele disappeared back into Mahaado's soul room. This would be a long night...
