Omega19x (8:00:53 PM): As soon as he got off work, Ryou ran over to his yami's place. He was so very proud of what happened. Of course, he would have rather it never happened, but still... he couldn't help but feel good inside.
phishschtick (8:04:25 PM): Bakura hadn't been terribly busy - busy enough to keep himself from realizing his concern for Ryou - when said hikari arrived at his apartment. Opening the door, it was something like relief that he felt. "Back, I see."
Omega19x (8:05:25 PM): "Oh Yami!!" Ryou literally glomped him. "I was so scared... and they took me... and... and I... I actually fought back!"
Omega19x (8:10:25 PM): "I saved them! I saved Malik and... and Ryuuzaki! And I rescued the... the real owner of Baka Chocolates... and... and kind of stopped Jello... and... Yami, I was brave! Just like you!!"
phishschtick (8:11:08 PM): Bakura was nearly smiling. "I knew you could."
Omega19x (8:12:43 PM): "I don't know how I did it... I... I just couldn't let them hurt Malik... and... and I wanted to keep Creamylicious... I didn't want them to take it away from me..."
phishschtick (8:21:19 PM): Heh. "Well done."
Omega19x (8:23:26 PM): Ryou smiled. "Thanks yami... for helping me learn to be brave..."
Omega19x (8:34:13 PM): "You're the best yami I could ever hope for."
phishschtick (8:35:10 PM): He merely looked down at this. "It was no trouble."
Omega19x (8:36:54 PM): "... n...now, don't get to thinking I'm... I'm going to start taking on more mafia people... No... I..." Ryou froze for a second. "You don't think they're going to come after me again, do you? I... I mean, Jello probably didn't survive the fire... but... um... would they?"
phishschtick (8:51:29 PM): "I doubt it."
Omega19x (8:52:30 PM): "Oh, thank goodness..." Ryou was very relieved. "I don't think anyone trapped in that factory could have survived..."
Omega19x (8:55:45 PM): The last he saw Jello was when the man flipped over his back into the vat of boiling chocolate.
Omega19x (9:15:25 PM): He just never wanted to go through with anything like that again.
phishschtick (9:37:51 PM): Bakura smirked, noticing the difference between what his hikari was willing to do now and three years ago.
Omega19x (9:39:11 PM): Ryou looked up at his yami, curiously. "Hmm?"
phishschtick (9:40:18 PM): "Nothing. Just wondering what you might've thought of this three years ago."
Omega19x (9:41:49 PM): Ryou thought about it for a second. Three years ago, he would never have actually enrolled in a self-defense class. Three years ago... he'd probably be beaten up, if not killed by someone like Jello. "I'd be... a... a goner..."

Omega19x (9:58:04 PM): "... I guess a lot has changed..."
Omega19x (10:18:12 PM): Ryou gave his yami another hug. "I'm just glad some things can stay the same."
