MmmK Fashion (8:54:43 PM): Ryuu and his camera skipped laong the sidewalk until he reached Creamylicious. Boy was he so super excited! He had to take a few pictures of the storefrong before putting his camera in his pocket and heading inside.

Omega19x (8:55:50 PM): "Welcome to Creamylicious" Ryou smiled, then realized who it was. "Oh, hey, Ryuuzaki. You're early!"

MmmK Fashion (8:56:46 PM): "Hi Ryou-san! Wow, it seems really good in here," Ryuu said as he took some deep breaths. "Is it okay I'm early? I just wasn't doing nothing earlier, so..."

Omega19x (8:59:58 PM): "That's not a problem at all..." Ryou opened up the little door that led behind the counter. There were a lot of puffs stacked in little trays behind them, easily in view of the customer. Next to it was a gourmet coffee machine that Ryou's other yami had suggested they put in. And on the other end of the counter was the cash register. Frosted glass windows separated that area from the kitchen, where Ryou spent a lot of his time.

MmmK Fashion (9:01:16 PM): Ryuu hurried behind the counter. He had to make a good first impression! He'd never really had a job before, and he knew his Trio-samas would be the bestest at any job, so he had to be, too. It took a lot for him not to grab some of the puffs, they looked so good.

Omega19x (9:04:19 PM): "I'm glad to get a little more help during the day! Shiz usually can't come until after she gets out of school and juku..." he smiled. While that was the busy time, it would be nice to be able to have someone at the register while he was doing the day's baking.

MmmK Fashion (9:05:29 PM): "Thanks for letting me come and work here. My friend is happy now that I got a job, and I'm kinda excited, too! Do I have to bake stuff?"

Omega19x (9:07:29 PM): "No, you can work the register instead. Have you ever used a cash register before?"

MmmK Fashion (9:07:50 PM): Ryuu shook his head as he looked at the scary machine. It looked real complicated.

Omega19x (9:09:09 PM): "It's not too hard. Let me show it to you." Ryou turne the key on the register to the 'on' position.

MmmK Fashion (9:09:41 PM): "Okay," Ryuu said and leaned in to look.

Omega19x (9:14:46 PM): "Now, each cream puff is 300 yen." Ryou explained. "That's anything they buy here that's on display. If they're wanting to order something special, you can come get me, since I'll have to make it, and I can ring those up for you."

MmmK Fashion (9:17:46 PM): "Okay, okay, I can remember that I think."

Omega19x (9:18:04 PM): "so for a normal order, you'd punch in 300 yen. And then hit department 1 for each puff they order... the number of times you hit it will be displayed right up here so you don't forget. If they pay cash, then hit cash, and the drawer opens for you so you can make change... If they give you a card to swipe, you swipe it on this machine here... then type in the total, and hit return."

MmmK Fashion (9:19:30 PM): Now Ryuu was getting a little confused. "Um...so I have to hit the number one five times if they buy five puffs?"

Omega19x (9:19:45 PM): Ryou nodded. "That's right."

MmmK Fashion (9:19:55 PM): "What if I mess up?"

Omega19x (9:20:36 PM): "Like hit it one too many times?"

MmmK Fashion (9:20:59 PM): "Yeah, in case I count wrong."

Omega19x (9:22:42 PM): "If you hit one too many, before you hit the cash or charge buttons, you can press the one that says 'RF.' That stands for refund. And punch in the 300 yen, and press 1 for each number you went over. That'll take it off your total. And if you want to see your total at any time, you can always hit 'subtotal' just to make sure it's right."

Omega19x (9:23:18 PM): And the buttons were in little groups on the register in that order, even. Price, departments, payment options.

MmmK Fashion (9:23:55 PM): That was so many buttons, but Ryuu just nodded even if he was still confused. Oh he knew he was gunna screw up a lot. His Trio-samas he was sure wouldn't do that.

Omega19x (9:25:32 PM): "If you get confused on what's what, there's a little chart behind the register that shows all the prices and departments. Put in the price, punch the department for each item they buy, then payment. You'll get the hang of it."

Omega19x (9:26:10 PM): (because Ryuu can't possibly do any worse than I did on my first job...)

MmmK Fashion (9:26:14 PM): "I thought I was just gunna hang people the puffs."

Omega19x (9:30:55 PM): "It'll take a little practice. Don't worry. I'll help you at first, until you've got it down."

MmmK Fashion (9:33:51 PM): "You promise? You're not gunna fire me, right?"

Omega19x (9:35:55 PM): "It took me a little while to get the hang of the cash register at first too... of course I'm not going to fire you. If you get stuck, I'll be here."

MmmK Fashion (9:36:43 PM): "Thank you Ryou-san!" Ryuu threw his arms around him and gave him a super big hug.

Omega19x (9:38:14 PM): Ryou blushed a little. "Oh... I almost forgot... The puff plates are down here. and if they want their puffs to go, we have little puffbags for when they just order a few puffs. And we have puffboxes for if they order six or more at a time. Each puffbox holds a dozen."

Omega19x (9:38:43 PM): And yes, the plates are shaped like cream puffs. And the bags and boxes are printed to look like big cream puffs.

MmmK Fashion (9:39:56 PM): Ryuu let him go and looked to where Ryou-san was pointing. He held up each of the items to get a good look at them. Wow, they were pretty cool! He didn't realize how much it took to own your own shop like this. "This must cost lots and lots of money! Are you rich Ryou-san?"

Omega19x (9:40:45 PM): "oh no no... I just work hard and make the best cream puffs I can make."

MmmK Fashion (9:41:16 PM): "Do my Trio-samas come in here at all?"

Omega19x (9:41:44 PM): "Sometimes."

MmmK Fashion (9:42:00 PM): "Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Omega19x (9:46:17 PM): "Now, a lot of what you might get are special orders. Those are my biggest selling items. I'll help you through those for a while, but a lot of the popular ones... such as birthday puffs, and all the ones in the special order book, are on the back of the register chart with how much they cost for how many and what department to select."

Omega19x (9:46:33 PM): "We'll just take it order by order, and you can learn as you go!"

MmmK Fashion (9:47:16 PM): Ryuu nodded. "Okay. So I just gotta do the register then? I don't do nothing else?"

Omega19x (9:48:45 PM): "And handing people the puffs they order." Ryou gestured to the tongs in front of the puff trays. "Be gentle, though."

Omega19x (9:49:01 PM): "Don't want to squish the puffs into the puffbags or puffboxes."

Omega19x (9:49:33 PM): (respect the puffs!)

MmmK Fashion (9:49:39 PM): "Oh, okay. So I gotta use those clippy thingies."

MmmK Fashion (9:49:49 PM): ((lol))

Omega19x (9:50:29 PM): Ryou nodded. "That way you don't have to worry about going back and forth to the register and touching it and then the puffs... that wouldn't be clean."

MmmK Fashion (9:51:36 PM): "Oh...oh yeah..." Ryuu hadn't thought of that. He'd have to try and remember real hard. "So do I get a super cool outfit to wear?"

Omega19x (9:52:23 PM): Ryou opened another cabinet, and pulled out a little Creamylicious apron, like the one he was wearing over his clothes. "Here you go. Try to keep it nice and clean."

MmmK Fashion (9:53:49 PM): Ryuu held it up and admired it. He was a real worker now! This would doubly prove to his friend he was. "Can I decorate it?"

Omega19x (9:54:19 PM): "... No... Then it'd be hard to see the Creamylicious logo on it."

MmmK Fashion (9:54:56 PM): "B-But I think it'd be cool if I could. I wouldn't cover the words or nothing."

Omega19x (9:55:26 PM): "... I'd rather you didn't."

MmmK Fashion (9:55:33 PM): "Pleeeeeeeeeeeease?"

Omega19x (9:55:40 PM): "It wouldn't be a uniform if they weren't... uniform."

MmmK Fashion (9:55:59 PM): Ryuu frown. "Okay...but can I wear whatever I want underneath?"

Omega19x (9:56:18 PM): Ryou nodded. "As long as it's nice and clean."

MmmK Fashion (9:56:56 PM): "Oh it'll be clean, I swear! I can do laundry now, isn't that super cool? My friend, he's got a laundry machine in his house."

Omega19x (9:58:00 PM): Ryou smiled. "Good! Any other questions?"

MmmK Fashion (9:58:30 PM): "Maybe one," Ryuu said as he glanced over at the puffs. "Can I eat some when I'm here?"

Omega19x (10:00:13 PM): "Only after we close each day. Don't want customers to see you snatching free puffs. We usually have a few left over, though... and no body wants to waste puffs."

MmmK Fashion (10:01:14 PM): "Oh, okay, I can wait then. And I got another question! Can I bring my friends with me when I come to work? They help me."

Omega19x (10:02:01 PM): "Not behind the counter... Only employees can come back here. But they can come hang out a little bit as long as you still do your job."
