Omega19x (9:23:56 PM): "Um... Friend Honda, I wish to apologize for whatever I seem to have done to your sofa. I... did not intend to become so heavily intoxicated." he sheepishly added upon teleporting in.
fai tiger (9:26:16 PM): Honda looked over in surprise. "Oh, uh, hey to you too... Nah, ya didn't really do anything to the couch, honest."
fai tiger (9:26:37 PM): "As for getting so drunk, well..." Honda trailed off and shrugged, not sure what could be said really.
Omega19x (9:27:40 PM): "The spoiled brat insists that I did, and unfortunately, I do not remember..." Mahaado trailed off a little as well. "As for the intoxication..."
fai tiger (9:31:01 PM): Honda rolled his eyes. "The couch is fine, you can see for yourself." He gestured towards the already washed cushion covers. "Mokuba doesn't know what he's talking about at times, and sadly this is one of those times he's made it totally obvious."
Omega19x (9:33:11 PM): Mahaado looked down at the cleaned couch. He whispered a quick sterlization spell, just in case it could make up for what Honda may have been through that past night that he could not remember. "He feels as though... I should return to the Simon Center."
fai tiger (9:34:47 PM): Honda nodded for a moment. "Do you think you have a problem that requires something that drastic again?"
Omega19x (9:35:14 PM): "I hoped that I had solved that problem when I was there the first time."
fai tiger (9:36:47 PM): "I had thought you had too," Honda replied. "Why the sudden concern about what Mokuba thinks about your life, if you don't mind me asking?"
Omega19x (9:38:51 PM): "The concern is more of the abhorrent behavior I displayed last night, and the thought that my time there has not been as beneficial as I had previously anticipated. The fact that the words were spoken by the spoiled brat are roughly irrelevant at this point, though not necessarily in Kafele's mind."
fai tiger (9:44:06 PM): Honda bit back the first several thoughts that came to mind about Kafele, knowing neither of them were likely to want to hear those thoughts. "Look... You made a mistake, you drank too much, you admit it. I don't think that automatically means you need to go back just because one person says you should."
fai tiger (9:44:13 PM): "Or is there more to it than that?"
Omega19x (9:45:34 PM): "I could not stop. I did not... want to stop. I know that much, and knowing what happened before and what may happen again, I am afraid, my friend. I am afraid."
fai tiger (9:51:17 PM): Honda patted him on the shoulder, then gently tried to pull him to sit down. "And you think that you need to go to the Simon Center to solve that? I mean, if you really think you should, I'm not going to try to stop you... I guess I just don't see why you'd need to go there to try to solve whatever issues are behind that."
Omega19x (9:52:29 PM): "I do not know what to do, my friend. And perhaps that uncertainty is what I fear most."
fai tiger (9:56:23 PM): Honda nodded, giving him another light pat. "I guess all you can really do is keep trying to resolve your issues, both directly linked to the drinking and not so directly linked." He sighed, carding a hand through his hair. "I know that answer doesn't do much for you... I don't like sitting here not knowing what to do either and feeling like I've let you down. You can talk to me if you want, or talk to someone else if you'd rather..."
Omega19x (9:57:18 PM): "No, my friend. There is no one whose advice I trust more than yours."
fai tiger (9:59:56 PM): "Thanks, I guess," Honda replied quietly, staring down at his feet. "Nice to know you feel that way, despite that I obviously wasn't much help yesterday."
Omega19x (10:01:57 PM): "I was not very much help to myself yesterday." he added. "That is no fault of your own. Perhaps the knowledge that my ability to strike Marik will soon end is weighing heavily on my spirit. This kingdom was not quick to forget the first failure in that regard. His taunts suggest a fiersome plan. Should I miss anything, disaster could result. I... could not concentrate. I could not focus. I just wished to make it go away..."
fai tiger (10:09:02 PM): Honda nodded. "Wanting it all to just go away, that's understandable, don't worry. It's not easy to try to help people and get nothing but scorn back, I know, but... at least you keep trying to do the right thing. There's plenty of people who can't say that much. And really... when there's trouble, people should blame the troublemaker rather than the guy trying to fix it. Especially when the people doing the blaming," like a certain deranged 'pharoah'... "usually aren't doing a damn thing to help. Am I helping any with this attempted pep talk?"
Omega19x (10:11:45 PM): Mahaado answered with a slight nod. "I should not let such thoughts overwhelm me. I should do as I learned at the Simon Center - talk about them, with those whom I trust. My friends. You."
fai tiger (10:18:07 PM): Honda nodded. "You're welcome to drop in anytime you need to talk. And uh, don't get down about getting overwhelmed by those kinda thoughts, it happens. Overcoming issues is a continuous thing, not a one-time thing anyways."
Omega19x (10:18:26 PM): "Yes. You are right." he offered a smile.
fai tiger (10:21:12 PM): Honda gave a small smile back. "Feeling better about life already, I take it?" he asked hopefully.
Omega19x (10:21:38 PM): "I will manage, yes."
fai tiger (10:23:59 PM): Honda nodded. "That's all anyone can do, manage. I have faith that you can."
Omega19x (10:24:36 PM): "Thank you, my friend." he stood up, and offered a slight embrace. It was quick and awkwardly uncomfortable, and he soon backed away. "Thank you."
fai tiger (10:25:50 PM): "No problem. I meant it, anytime you feel the need to drop by to see me..."
Omega19x (10:26:16 PM): "I know, my friend. I know."
fai tiger (10:30:38 PM): Honda nodded. "Just reminding you. You should prolly get back to the shop and Azizi and everything else I guess... We'll talk again soon I'm sure, for one reason or another."
Omega19x (10:31:11 PM): He nodded, thanking Honda again. And he teleported away. Little did he know what he would discover soon after arriving there...
